Anyways. Another week went by and Chanyeol had already gotten back from tour. Everything was back to normal when my parents called me through the Line app while i was on my lunch break at school.
Jooeun : mom. Dad.
Mom (*asks) : how are you honey?
Jooeun : I'm good, just working at school.
Dad : that's good to hear.
Mom : your father and I were considering of visiting you in Korea.
Jooeun (*asks) : oh really??
Dad : we were just thinking about it.
Jooeun : I mean if you want.
Mom (*asks) : how's your roommate doing?
Jooeun (*lies & says) : she's doing great, working hard.
Dad : she seems like a good roommate to you.
Jooeun : yes, very.
Jooeun : my break is coming to an end and I have to get back to work now.
Mom : alright, we’ll talk later.
Dad : bye Jooeun.
Jooeun : bye you two.
I exit the Line app and went back to teaching. The entire day was exhausting. Since it was the end of the year, we didn't have anymore meetings for the club committee. So I was relief that I got to go home early and rest.
[6PM] I sat in the living room grading the exams with the tv on. I needed something to keep me company. During this time, Chanyeol and the members were at the SM building practicing when they had some time to rest before heading home. They stayed there to talk for a little while.
Kai (*asks Chanyeol) : so who are you bringing to the company masquerade ball ?
Chanyeol : i don't know actually.
Sehun : you should bring Jooeun.
Chanyeol : i don't even know if she likes to dance or not. I don't want to put her in a weird position.
Xiumin : i think she’ll love it if you brought her.
Chanyeol : i'm not sure. I’ll ask her once i get home.
Once the EXO members were done stretching on the floor, they headed back to the dorms and Chanyeol went home to the apartment. I was sitting there when i heard Chanyeol walk through the front door. I was so busy grading the exams and in focus doing so. I completely ignored him because i was so stressed out grading the papers. On top of that, i was over thinking of my parents possibly coming to Korea to visit me as well. I didn't know what to do. I had to clear my mind. Chanyeol (*asks) : hey, you okay ?
Jooeun (*looks up at Chanyeol & says) : yeah. There’s just too much to do right now.
Chanyeol (*asks) : it's the end of the school year ?
Jooeun : yeah.
Chanyeol : if it makes you feel any better, i have a thing you can do.
Jooeun (*asks) : what is it ?
Chanyeol : the company is throwing a big party this weekend.
Chanyeol : it marks the third year this week and they're asking me to bring a plus one.
Chanyeol (*asks) : so would you like to come with me and be my plus one ?
Chanyeol : it’ll relieve your stress from everything.
Jooeun (*smiles & says) : sure, i’ll go with you.
Chanyeol : okay then.
Chanyeol : this years theme is masquerade ball so you have to wear a mask.
Chanyeol : make sure you bring the invite once i make you a copy of it.
Jooeun : okay. Thank you Chanyeol.
