Min’s POV

You can say I was mad, madly in love with them. They mean everything to me. They helped me cure my sorrow, and accompanied me when I was alone. I love them, more than my family.

I watch him all the time. He was so close to me. I can see him as if I was there with him. But when I reach out, I am hit with cold hard reality. I realized he’s too far from my reach.

He’s so close yet so far. The gap between us widens more, each time I meet you. I love you, and I also hate you, for what you have turned me into.

A monster.

Baekhyun’s POV

We dated for 2 years. Even though our schedules were busy, even when we didn’t have time to see each other, I still love her. We had fights, and we made up. But this was too sudden.

I was too shocked to even feel heartbroken, maybe it was because we were too focused on our individual activities, that we naturally grew apart.

Maybe I didn’t lover her, after all. I stared at my phone reading the text once more.

Baek,
We had some happy times, but my feeling for you have changed. 2 years ago, I loved you, but I’m not so sure now. Let’s remain good sunbae and hoobae. Thank you for everything, Byun Baek-hyun, and good-bye.

I smiled sadly, typing our parting words.

Thank you for everything, sunbae.

I sighed unhappily, flinging my phone across the bed. I got up with a grunt from my sleeping position and headed downstairs. Chanyeol was in the kitchen alone eating an apple.

Chanyeol’s my best friend..Maybe I should tell him.

I walked towards him, as he noticed my approached and grinned. Instantly I felt better. I tried hiding my smile, forgetting my break-up.

“Chanyeol,” I whined. “I broke up with Taeyeon.” I announced grumpily.

I looked at him, his face expressionless.

Shoot. I realized. I shouldn’t have told him. Chanyeol has a bad history with Taeyeon.

I awkwardly smiled as I mentally hit myself.

Kai suddenly burst through the door, looking frantically around. The others were in the living room, laughing as they watched and ate stuff. D.O stumbled close behind helping Kai stand up properly. The others stopped and watched suspiciously at the duo as their coats trailed puddles of water and blood.

Kai looked at us wildly, an odd spark of light in his eyes. “We need to leave the dorm, NOW!”

I staggered backwards, the intensity of his stance, words and face frightened me. I noticed the others, their eyes, regarding the two, fiercely. The same light that illuminated Kai’s eyes. They were different. I took another step back, a bead of sweat rolled down my forehead.

Just like how Taeyeon and I drifted apart. This was happening to Exo. We were still close, but there was something different about them. They were changing, into something I could not describe. The atmosphere around them...it felt almost, deadly.

“Leave, where?” Chanyeol asked nervously behind me.

Kai held out our manager's car keys “Get in the car, I’m driving.” He replied, his face breaking into a smirk. His usual playful smile was replaced by a merciless person. His action, his words, they were different.

He and the others, they acted inhumane.

“Wait, I wanna drive too!” Sehun yelled raising up his hand. The others looked nervously at each other. Sehun and Kai were THE worst at driving.

Kai grinned, tossing him the keys. “Sure.”

The other members looked at each other dumbfounded, as they all thought at the same time.

Shit, we are so dead.

Notes

Sorry for making this story too intense. I didn't realized it until I reread it. Exo is so funny with each member's different personality, so I decided I should maybe end this chapter in a more happy, unlike the other chapters.
