Friendship Connections || EXO

Kai’s POV
We entered an instrument shop that was led by our instrument king, of course Chanyeol hyung. He was busy looking for instruments while Sehun was busy and having a big smile with every sip of his bubble tea. We really need to hurry because of our concert in 1 hour.

I lingered my eyes on one guitar inside the glass window, that looked really nice, when someone accidentally tripped on my foot. I turned around and my left hand automatically holds someone’s waist and my right hand on her arm. I looked at her shocked eyes with mine. I heard other fan girls giggling and still taking pictures of us. Her scent makes me feel lost for a second. Then she looked away and looked at Sehun.


I looked at Sehun and his amused face. The girl that was on my arms stood up and she looked at Sehun. Sehun smiled and he walked towards her. I followed Sehun’s hand movements with my eyes. Then he gave some piece of paper to her.

“He knows her?” I asked myself. I scratched my head and pout my lips a little in confusion.


I saw other girl grabbed her wrist and they ran out of the store. I let her out of my sight when the other staff and our manager pushed us out of the store. When we’re inside the van, Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin kept on teasing Sehun. But Chanyeol hyung kept on scrolling and scrolling on his phone. Our manager rode a different van and he said that he has to take care of something about the concert, and we’ll meet at the venue.


The van was filled with giggling and laughter but without Chanyeol hyung, it was incomplete.

“Sehun-ah did you give her the paper that I gave you last night?” Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin looked at him seriously and with their mouths shut.


“Yes, hyung, I did.” Sehun muttered under his breath.


Chanyeol and Sehun haven’t talked to each other since this morning. And they all know the girl in the shop? What really happened yesterday evening?

Chae Seol’s POV

Yeon Ra gave me my ticket to the concert and we stood in line. My legs are tired now from standing. Finally after 20 minutes they let us in.


As we walked inside, I asked her “But Yeon Ra-ah, who’s your bias in Exo?”


“D.O Oppa.” She said while busy looking for the seats. I followed her for a minute and finally We found our seat in the Lower Box B section. Then some staff with headsets on tapped my shoulder.


“Ma’am follow me.” He said with the dark deep voice.


I held Yeon Ra’s wrist and we walked as fast as we can while I followed the staff. I tried to keep him in my sight because of the fan girls bumping to me.

Finally we reached the VIP seats. I looked at Yeon Ra wondering why we are on these seat section.

“Rah, I didn’t know that you booked VIP tickets for us.” I whispered to her ear. She’s smiled awkwardly to me then she looked away.

“What’s your name?” The staff asked while looking to his clipboard and looking carefully on the names with his pen.

“I’m Park Chae Seol and this is my friend Lee Yeon Ra.” I said to him carefully.


He leaned closer to me so that me and Yeon Ra can only hear.

“The Exo members booked the VIP seats for the both of you. They said that you guys are close friends of theirs. Well then, enjoy the concert!” He said then leave immediately.

I looked at Yeon Ra and I widened my eyes. She has the same reaction as me. Her long bangs was covering the half of her face. But I still saw her astonished face.

“Jinjja daebak!” She sighed. “This is all Sehun’s plans!”

“Ya! Let’s just thank him. Hum?” I asked.

She looked away at me and muttered. “Fine, but by the way, Sehun is not that kind of friend that will book you VIP tickets though. You have to beg for it for like a hundred of times.”

Then, the concert starts. I was really amazed because we’re so close to them. We waved our lightsticks and screamed our bias’ names. By the way, my bias is Baekhyun, so that you guys know.

You know that feeling when you’re really overwhelmed because they used to be so small on your computer screens and poster, and now, you can almost touch them. I wanna cry, laugh and scream at the same time and my heart is feeling these unique emotions that I have never felt before.

While they’re performing the song Black pearl, each member spread out to different directions of the stage. Sehun and Chanyeol went in our direction. My heart pounds and pounds as If they’re not gonna slow down.

“Wah, Yeon Ra. Sehun grew really a lot more taller and….” I whispered to her with my eyes on Sehun

“More handsome?” She continued.

“Forget it.” We looked at each other and we burst out of laughing.
Sehun finally spotted me in the crowd. He looked at me in the eye and chuckled. He smiled at me brightly while singing. Then he pointed the level of his head to mine.

Aah, he’s teasing me that now, he’s taller than me. I used to be taller than him before. But now, puberty hits him really hard.

He ran his fingers through his hair and bit his lips slightly. Then, I saw Chanyeol looked at him and pushed him jokingly. He widened his eyes and covered his lips with his fingertips when he saw me. He pointed at me and did a call sign.

He’s asking me if I was the girl from the phone that they talked to last night.
I nodded. He turned around and bumped into Kai behind him. Chanyeol almost jumped because of surprise. Kai looked at me in the eyes then he waved at me. Then Chanyeol pulled his shirt and dragged him. I chuckled softly. And Yeon Ra looked at me.
“Seol, are you okay?”

She thought I choked.

“Uh, I’m okay.” I replied

Yeon Ra’s POV
It really breaks my heart when Sehun went in our direction, he just ignored me like I never exist. So is Chanyeol. About the calling sign thing, I have no idea about that too. Then Kai smiled at her and waved at her personally. Well maybe that’s because of the incident that happened in the instrument shop, that’s why Jongin did that. Plus, I still don’t want to mention Kai about anything because I still haven’t moved on.


I can see the other members steal glances to Chae Seol but I just chose to ignore it. Instead, I just continued screaming ‘D.O’ the whole time.

When the concert ended, Chae Seol and I went to my place first and she picked up her luggage and bags.

Then she left my place leaving me alone in silence of the living room without saying a word.

Chae Seol’s POV
I took a bus on my way to the hotel. The ambiance of the hotel really makes me nervous. It’s really pretty and different from any other hotels. I checked in my name and the receptionist gave me a card to my room. I opened the door and I looked from the ceiling to the floor. Then, I asked myself.

“Sehun booked this room for me?”

Then when I was getting ready to take a shower, my phone vibrates. It was Sehun
“Where are you right now?” He asked.

“I’m at the hotel you sent me to.” I replied as fast as I can.

“I didn’t do it. Chanyeol hyung booked it for you. You’re gonna stay there for at least one week” He replied with a sad emoji.

I was about to write ‘why’ when he responded

“Let’s meet tomorrow, I’ll pick you up at the lobby at 7:30 AM. I’m going to sleep now, I’m tired, bye.”

Many questions were in my mind but I tried to relax and have a goodnight sleep. I’ve had enough happenings today, I think it’s time for me to relax for now.
