~ Mark's POV ~
I was heading to the school roof since it was my free period.
I always go there because it's somewhere that I can find peace and quiet.
I made it to the top and then in the distance, I saw a girl sitting there, crying her eyes out.
I went closer and I saw a familiar figure, it was (Y/N)...
Why is she crying so hard? Did someone hurt her?
Mark: Gwenchana?
(Y/N) seemed startled at first but then she suddenly bolted up, hugged me and cried.
Now I was startled, but somehow, soon afterwards I didn't seem to mind at all. I hugged her back, seated her down and let her cry it all out. I waited for her to calm down.
-Minutes later-
(Y/N): Mark? *sniffles*
Mark: N-ne?
(Y/N): Gamsahamnida...
Mark: *confused* for what?
(Y/N): for finding me and allowing me to cry in your embrace.
My heart warmed when she said that.
I have always been cold, quiet and sometimes even cruel. But this little girl warmed my heart...
Mark: *smiles* No problem, I'll be here for you when you need.
I wiped her tears away.
(Y/N): Mianhe. I stained your shirt and I startled you. I just really needed someone.
I grew worried.
Mark: (Y/N), what's wrong?
She didn't say anything.
Mark: Is this about Justin?
(Y/N): *surprised* You know about Justin? Did Jackson tell you?
Mark: *sigh* is this about him?
(Y/N) nodded very slowly.
Mark: *sigh* what did he do now? Did he play with another girl?
(Y/N): Adeline, my best friend.
My eyes widened. I shouldn't have asked.
Mark: M-mianhe, I shouldn't hav-
(Y/N): Ani~ I need to take it off my chest anyways. Thank you for asking.
*Silence*
(Y/N): You know, you're not what you seem to be.
Mark: *confused* what do you mean?
(Y/N): *chuckles* You seem cold and careless, but the truth is that you're actually the opposite. You're sweet and caring.
My heart was warm once again. That's when it hit me...
"She's the first girl to actually understand me..."
