If Dreams Could Tell

Jungkook's POV

Just as I was gonna turn the corner, I heard someone talking.

"Fine! I like you okay?" Jin yelled.

I covered my mouth from the shock. Jin Hyung too? I backed away from them.

Is Baekhee going to accept his confession? I madly ran away. Of course she is.

I thought Baekhee said Jin was an idiot. I guess that's not true to her.


Baekhee's POV

I looked at Jin wide eyed. I never knew he felt that way. We've always had this rivalry friendship from cooking (He was obviously better) to arguing.

But sometimes he makes my heart beat fast. Faster than when I met Jae Seok.

"I don't know.."

He smiled understandingly. "I knew you wouldn't accept it." He said. "But we promised not to be awkward to each other. Lets just..be what we used to be again? The rivalry friendship?" Jin laughed.

I had never experienced what love feels like. Is it this hard? "I like someone else." You answered ignoring his question. That's right, it's Seokjin.

His smile faltered, "Does that mean yes? You seem to be trying to argue with me. Are you trying to rub it in my face?"

I faked a smile, "Y-yeah."

'Sorry Jin.' I thought. I don't think I'll ever get over Seokjin. Someone, maybe someone special can win over him. That guy is gonna be hard to find.


Jimin was eating some chips while watching Netflix when we got home. "Baekhee! Can you hand me the water bottle? Next to you. We have nothing to eat." He groaned, "Can we go out to eat?"

"Why not? I'm hungry." Rap Mon said. "I heard there's a new restaurant in town."

We settled down in a seat with trays in our hands.

So many things had happened today. Jae Seok told on
us- Jimin got expelled. Graduation will be lonely without him. We wouldn't even graduate together anymore, just because of one person, Jae Seok.

Jin had confessed to me. Something tells me that I had made the wrong decision. I don't think I had directly rejected him yet.


No One's POV

"Eat before the food gets cold." Jin said as he held the spoon by your mouth, "Say 'ahh.'"

You blushed, "I'm not a kid. I can eat by myself." The both of you were acting like a couple.

Jungkook thinking that you and Jin are together now, wasn't buying it. "She said she can eat by herself." Jungkook snatched the spoon out of Jin's hand.

The others stared at Jungkook weirdly. Did the Maknae just do that?

"Sorry, I got a bit carried away." Jin said scratching the back of his head.

"Cause you two are together now?" Jungkook glared.

V dropped his spoon, "You guys are together?" He quietly asked.

"Of course not!" Jin said, "Jungkook is a little fetus. It's usual for him to say that." You added.

Jungkook leaned over and whispered, "Don't lie to me. I saw Jin confess to you at school."

"That was a misunderstanding. Why do you care anyways?" You said.

"Did you reject him?" He asked.

"I didn't reject him nor accept him

By now, from all the jealousy, its was pretty obvious that Jungkook developed a small crush on you. You were completely oblivious.

Jin chuckled when he snapped a picture of you slurping the noodles.

"Yah! Delete it!" You grabbed the camera. Jin took it back.

"Don't, it's cute." He said.

Jungkook was ready to explode. He cursed under his breath. "Did you just swear?" Jimin hit the back of Jungkook's head, "Why? Are your noodles too sour?"

He just shook his head, "Out of instincts."

Jimin tsked and moved his pointer finger back and forth, "Bad child."


You didn't want to do anything today after going to the restaurant. Instead, you collapsed on the couch.


"You know what happened today?" You said to Seokjin. It was weird to tell someone not real something that happened at school, but you just couldn't help it.

He turned his head towards you tilting his head. Without him saying anything, you understood that his body motions meant to say, 'What?'

"Jimin got expelled from school. He wouldn't be graduating with us." You said sadly. "It's all Jae Seok's fault."

"He's a jerk." Seokjin sad quietly.

"Good job. I successfully taught you how to hate Jae Seok." You smiled proudly.

"You know what else happened?"

Seokjin was already facing you, head tilted to the side.

"Jin confessed to me today." You said, "I didn't reject him. I didn't accept his confession either. What should I do?"

"Do you like him?" Seokjin asked.

"I don't know."

"Then who do you like?" His eyes staring straight into yours.

"Y-you."
