Lets Not Fall in love.

I decided it would be best to not tell Choi that my brother was hanging out with Hyungwon, a member of Monsta X. that would cause trouble. I was sure of it and didn’t feel like dealing with it. I didn’t know what he would do.

He kissed me for a long time when I got into the car. He tasted like coffee and peppermint. It was bitter sweet. Like he’d used to much creamer. I liked it so much that I didn’t want to stop kissing him. He chuckled and pulled back for air. I knew my face held bewildered wonder and my eyes were wide with want. He smiled.

‘’Down girl.’’

He cooed and pushed some hair out of the way and leaned in to kiss my neck. ‘’I need to see about getting you a leash.’’ He mumbled teasingly. My eyes went wide as he said this. ‘’Have you really done that before?’’ I asked him curiously. And felt my whole body go cold when the only response I got was a sly smile.

‘’How was your first day of work?’’ he asked curiously. I looked over at him. ‘’Have you been keeping tabs on me?’’ I asked. It was an obviously stupid question. But he asked it anyways. He shook his head. ‘’Was it good?’’ I frowned. If he knew I was at work then did that mean that he saw Hyungwon and I? I sank back in my seat for a second.

‘’it was alright. I’m just glad they got the job.’’ I said an easy smile found it’s way to my face again when he didn’t bring up my brother and Hyungwon. He nodded his head as he listened to me. He began talking then, he said that I looked nice today. Then put his hand on my leg as he began to talk about how curious I made him. I had been so distracted by what he was saying I didn’t look at my surroundings. We were heading totally up town. In an area that wasn’t familiar to me.

‘’Wait a minute. Where are you taking me?’’ I asked. I started to panic when he didn’t answer me right away. He kept his eyes on the road and his face was pretty much deadpan. I asked a little louder this time. ‘’Where are we going?’’ my breath was getting a bit staggered and I had my hand on my cell in the back pocket of my jeans.

‘’My apartment. Calm down.’’

His apartment. Oh my goodness. The worst things started to go through my mind. Going back to his apartment. What if he planned to drug me and make me have sex with him. ‘’why?’’ I asked him. ‘’Why are going there?’’ he looked over at me with an amused expression. And that’s all I got.

‘’Calm down.’’ He told me with a dark tone. He reached over to put his hand on my thigh but I flinched out of his reach. I seethed at him from my seat. ‘’you’re sadly mistaken if you think you’re getting something out of me so early.’’ I growled. I was trying to sound like a tiger but I knew to him I probably looked like a feral house cat. He chuckled. ‘’is that so?’’ he said in a challenging tone, it was playful. He sounded so confident. At a red light, he looked over at me and let his eyes roam over my body slowly and sensually. That really was the reason he was taking me there wasn’t it? Why didn’t I stay with my brother and Hyungwon? No, fuck that. Why didn’t I just stay home? Wait for Hansol.

There was a wicked smile on Choi’s face as we pulled up the large expensive looking complex. He dialed in the number to open the gate and drove through, heading immediately to what must have been the pent house suites. I prepared to bolt. I had done enough running with my brother before. The time we snuck out and came across a large stray dog on our way back. Adrenaline pumping through both of us as he hurdled over the large fence into our neighbors yard. The fence had been chain link. But I’m sure I could jump the pretty picked keeping the peasants out of this apartment complex.

‘’Run. I dare you.’’ Said Choi in a large voice. I realized then that I had turned my body before we’d parked. One foot was already in front of the other and my back had began to turn on him. Ready for me to open the door and run back up the drive. I had been paying careful attention to the twists and turns as he drove. And if that didn’t work. I’m sure the cops would get called if I ran screaming through the complex like a mad woman. But I looked down at myself.

Choi quickly opened his door and in one fluid movement had my upper torso in his hold as he dragged me out through the driver seat door. He tood me upright and turned me to face him.
‘’You were going to run? Really? Have you learned nothing my little tiger lily?’’ he laughed. ‘’Don’t make a scene.’’ He said lowly. He put his hand in mine. ‘’You think I’m some kind of wolf tracking down an adorable little lamb.’’ He said as he tugged me along. I was probably shaking. I couldn’t even hear myself breathing. Just heard his voice as he spoke. ‘’It’s not my fault that this butterfly flew so willingly into my web.’’ I rolled my eyes and squeezed his hand. ‘’Yeah, right! More like a caterpillar walking by the nest of a trap door spider.’’ He chuckled. ‘’Okay, fair enough.’’

He turned to me as we got to the door of his apartment. Isolated from the other buildings. A two story thing that looked more like a medium sized house. But of course he had neighbors on the far side. He pushed me up against the door to make sure I couldn’t go anywhere when he unlocked it.

‘’Funny. Because web or trap door, I’ve never seen prey escape either.’’
