Luhan's POV

I paced around my bed at the hospital checking my phone for any updates. The news, the paper, the internet, every media platform imaginable was talking about Ling and EXO. I scowled as the radio beside my bed started again.

"So who is the girl with EXO? I mean we know for sure if we don't get a good enough
explanation, the fans will be very angry."

"That's right, who knows what they'll do to that poor girl."

That's right, Ling was in danger.

I whipped out my phone again and called Zhang-ge.

"Ge, what's happening with Ling?"

"I don't know, I'm worried too."

After exchanging words of distress, I hung up only to receive another call.

"Hello?"

It was my manager and he was telling me to go to SM entertainment's headquarters.

Ling's POV

Kim Young Min's presence was a lot more overwhelming than I had expected. He looked up as we crowded into his office and motioned for the EXO managers to leave.

The eyes of the member's lingered on the door as it clicked close and immediately all straightened up. They bowed simultaneously and I joined in feeling kind of awkward.

Kim Young Min laughed and motioned for all of us to sit down. "Relax, I'm not here to hurt any of you in any way."

The members did not look convinced and neither was I. His eyes lingered on me.

"So you're the girl," he shifted in his seat to look at me more closely. "Somehow you don't meet my standards of EXO's love interest."

Xiumin cleared his throat. "She's not EXO's love interest, EXO does not deserve any punishment."

"Ah but you see, it is precisely EXO that needs the punishment," his tone dropped to a low rumble. "When did you ever think that it was a good idea for you to play house with a girl?"

Silence loomed over the room for a few minutes then Kim Young Min burst into a loud laugh. He pointed at me and motioned me to sit next to him.

I hesitated but obeyed.

He held my chin and examined my face. "I've been thinking of doing a reality show for EXO."

"Reality show?" Kai said curiously.

"Oh like show time!" Chen said excitedly sitting on the edge of his seat.

Young Min glanced at him and he instantly recoiled to the back of his seat. "That's right, call it a new, comeback."

Suho scratched his head. "What about this situation?"

Young Min smiled. "Don't worry, I'll deal with it, you guys just prepare yourselves for shooting the show."

He waved his hand and motioned the members to leave. My face was still in his hands and he did not look like he was going to let go anytime soon.

Xiumin lingered at the door as he walked out and only with the help of Kai did he finally pass through the door. My heart pounded as the door closed and I was left alone with the CEO of the biggest entertainment organization in Korea.

He let go of my chin and got up to pour himself a drink. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put you through that."

I stared at him. Put me through what?

Young Min passed me a cup of coffee which I couldn't help but decline. He shrugged and returned to his spot next to me.

"You're going to be in the show," he motioned with his hand imagining the opening scene. "Life with EXO."

I stared at him. "Why me?"

He laughed. "You're the centre of this scandal right now, what do you think?"

I kept my mouth shut, knowing nothing pleasant will come out of it if I opened it.

"Listen here uh-"

"Ling," I said quickly.

"Miss Ling," Young Min placed a hand on my shoulder and I felt the corners of my mouth twitch in irritation. "You are a pretty young lady but you made the mistake of staying at EXO's dorm."

He paused to let me think this over.

"What do you think, should I sue you for breaking an entering or what?"

I glared at him mouth open. "I did not break in."

"Hmm, see that's not what EXO, a group that I own, thinks."

Before I could speak, a small knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.

Luhan stood at the door looking disgruntled.

"Lu-ge," I stood to greet him as he walked into the room with his manager.

He shot me a smile and directed his attention back at Young Min. "Why is she here alone, where is EXO?"

Young Min clapped his hand excitedly. "Ah yes, the main stars of our show."

Luhan took his spot directly opposite from me and glared at him. His manager put his hand on his back trying to calm him down.

"I'm not agreeing to this show," Luhan said between his teeth and pointed at me. "Neither is Ling."

My eyes lingered on him. I guess he's already heard.

Young Min shrugged. "That all depends on how much you want me to sue you, and how much you want to see your friends in EXO suffer."

I bit my lip and locked eyes with Luhan. He furrowed his brows and stared back at me unsure of what to do.

"Now, before you get all worked up, let me tell you what the show's going to be about."

He walked to his desk and passed us each a piece of paper.

Two participants: Girl and Luhan.

Luhan is going to participate? You can't force an ex-member to spend time with the current members. Imagine how hurt he would feel seeing all the things he's missing out on.

I glanced at Luhan who said nothing. His brows were arched and furrowed at the tip of his nose and he looked as though he could punch Young Min at that very moment.

The girl will participate in the perspective of the fans and Luhan will be a regular participant in the show. The show will include daily activities with EXO as well as nightly secret activities that show the true EXO behind the scenes. Adding on, various activities will occur based on the demands of the fans through Girl participant. participants will be asked to follow EXO through their schedules etc. Different fans will be invited to spend a day with EXO for every episode.

"I have a concert coming up, I don't have time to do this." Luhan placed the paper on the table and looked at me square in the eyes asking me to follow his lead.

"Right, but of course," Young Min spoke before I could. "But Ling is free, if not, I will have to sue her here and we don't want that now do we."

Luhan stood up and gripped his hand in a fist. "Don't drag her into this."

Young Min laughed. "Me? Drag her? I'm not the one that arranged all of this to happen. Yes, that's right, I know what happened."

I stood up and placed myself in front of Luhan, my back facing the now hysterical Young Min. "Luhan, I'm going to do it."

I avoided his eyes and continued. "I've already caused enough trouble, if this can solve everything, then I have no problem with it."

The only thing I'm concerned with is how you will handle this.

I looked up to see a sad expression on his face. He lowered his head and muttered something to his manager that I couldn't make out.

"Ling," He whispered to me. "I'm sorry I put you through this."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me behind him as he faced Young Min with determination.

"Fine, I'll do it."
