Xiumin's POV

The articles revealing a leak of information regarding the new EXO show were already published. Baekhyung sat on the couch with his phone in his hand and Chen peaking over his shoulder at the screen. On the far side, Kai and Lay sat leaning over a laptop.

"Wow, they completely covered up the scandal." Chen read the article. "In order to give exclusive footage to the fans, SM hopes to have a participant representing all EXO-Ls undercover in the EXO dorm."

Chen shook his head in disbelief. "Kim Young Min is really something."

Beside me, Suho grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. "Chen, you really need to clean your room, there's going to be a fan here every week."

D.O turned in his chair. "By draw right, it's random?"

Sehun ruffled his hair and fixed his bangs. "Aish, what if we get one of those creepy fans."

Suho glared at him.

"I mean, you know, those unique fans."

Chanyeol laughed and I joined in. Things seemed to have calmed down.

Late afternoon, Ling entered the dorm with Luhan. After much excitement of his return to the dorm, we sat around the living room and stared at each in silence.

"So, is my room still empty?" Luhan smiled. "I'm going to be staying here for quite a while."

"Here?" D.O look bewildered and pleased at the same time.

"I'm the main participant of your show." He scratched the back of his head. "I'll be participating with Ling."

He bowed his head at us. "Please take care of me, again."

We stared at him in silence. Ling looked very uncomfortable beside him. She examined Luhan's face closely.

Suho stood. "Well, it's not like you didn't have your reasons for leaving. Welcome back to the dorm hyung."

They bowed to each other and eventually the rest of the EXO members joined into a hug.

Luhan was back, and we welcomed him with open arms. Behind us, Ling smiled warmly. Luhan broke our hug and pulled her into the center, her face only inches away from ours. I watched her face turned red as Luhan closed the circle with his arms, locking Ling on the inside.

"Ling has to take responsibility for causing this!" Baekhyung joked. "Be the best participant ever for our show!"

She laughed and made a heart over her head with her arms. "Take care of me Oppas!"

It was at that moment that each of the EXO members hearts was captivated by her alone and I realized that I had to get pass all of them to get to her.

Ling's POV

I spent the following few days running over questions and scripts with the EXO members who had to resume their busy schedule. Whenever someone was available, I bombarded them with questions. Yet, as an attempt to keep the show fresh, none of them took me seriously.

"Chanyeol, what do you do for fun?"

"I like look at myself in the mirror," He said trying to take a serious tone then bursting out in laughter.

"D.O, what is your guilty pleasure?"

"Showering fully clothed." He did a little dance in front of me and smiled. "Ling, you're taking this so seriously, just relax."

"Sehun,-"

"Yes Ling, my name is Sehun, what question do you have for me now?" He leaned into my face and examined me. "Hmm, Ling, you don't wear makeup, interesting."

Eventually, I gave up and returned to my room. I paused in front of Luhan's door and remembered the picture I took from his room.

Borin and Luhan.

My thoughts scattered as I thought about their relationship. It was strange to me how they would possibly know each other. I crept back to my room and pulled out my phone lingering on Borin's social media.

I wonder how she's doing, Borin.

I remembered the times when Borin and I would go to a quiet place on campus to jam out to EXO. She was the one who introduced EXO to me and then one who brought me to the fan signing. If it wasn't for her, I would not have known Sehun at all. She and I were close as two girls could be and I had almost accepted her offer to stay in Korea for another year.

Kind of wanting to brag to her about doing the show, I decided to give her a call. The tone of the phone beeped at me and then-

"LingLing!" That was the name she called me by.

I smiled. "Borin, how are you?"

"You are all over the news girl, what have you been doing!" She was freaking out over the phone.

I hear her apologize to someone next to her. "Let's meet up LingLing, I haven't seen you in ages."

I giggled into the phone. "Alright."

We have decided to meet up at our old hangout, a sweets shop at the corner of a small intersection. Barely anyone knows that this store exists let alone the delicious cakes that it offers.

The store was small and well hidden from the main road. It was one of those places that you would not notice if you were not specifically looking for it. The small dirty windows were covered with ads for various clubs around the area. I pushed open the door listening to the familiar sound of the bell ring as it opened and smelling the familiar fragrance of freshly baked cookies.

"LingLing!" With her full face of makeup, Borin sat at the corner of the store waving her hand at me.

Behind the front counter, a handsome boy my age catches my eye.

"Go Nam Soon!" (Shout out to an awesome drama)

The boy looked up at me with his sparkling brown eyes. "Ling!"

He put down his clipboard and came to greet me with open arms. He was wearing a pair of slim fitting jeans with a collared white and navy sweater that really emphasized his above average height and broad shoulders. His brown hair was tied into a ponytail at the top of his head keeping his bangs out of his smiling eyes. We hugged, his shoulders were warm in my embrace.

"How have you been?" He examined my face.

"Good, I've been good. Wow, look at you, so much more handsome than the last time I saw you."

He blushed and looked over at Borin. "She helped me with my wardrobe and got me a haircut."

I laughed remembering the lanky boy from before.

Together we walked to Borin and sat down together. We chattered away and I had a chance to catch up with their lives. Nam Soon recently broke up with his girlfriend and Borin still "Proud and Single". Borin and her new obsession with the group iKON.

"Enough about us," Borin waved her hand at me. "You're hosting the new EXO show? What kind of news is that!"

Nam Soon leaned towards me attentively.

I sighed and explained to them everything that's happened the past few weeks. "Crazy right?"

Borin sat with her mouth open. "Luhan? You met up with Luhan?"

I looked at her expecting her to talk about their relationship.

"Oh, how is he now I wonder?"

I couldn't help but glare at her.

Ling met up with her friends again after leaving them after her exchange program. She is expecting an explanation from Borin about the photo she found in Luhan's room but to her disappointment, she does not get one.
