Being Neighborly
All Nighter.
[8:00PM] Dyanna was getting ready to leave for work when she stopped in the living room talking to Dani before leaving. Dani was sitting in the living room looking through the list of people for the clothing design for the music video. Each person had their own profile and lists of hobby interests.
Dyanna (*asks Dani as she gets her purse in the room) : will you be okay with Lia tonight ?
Dani (*smiles & says) : of course i will be okay.
Dani : i've babysat her a million times. i'm pretty sure i know what i'm doing by now sis.
Dyanna : alright. just call me if anything happens. i gotta go to work now.
Dani : okay. have fun saving people’s lives.
Dyanna : i wouldn't count on it.
Dani : oh come on, you're a doctor.
Dyanna : i know, it's my job.
Dani : you better get going or else you’ll be late for your shift.
Dyanna (*says as she puts on her jacket & says) : bye !
Dani (*yells from the living room) : bye !

Dani : so it's just me and you.
Lia (*asks) : can you read me a book ?
Dani (*smiles & says) : if you promise to come with me to take an awesome shower.
Lia (*smiles & says) : okay, i promise.
Dani walked Lia into her room to pick out her pajamas. Then Dani took Lia in the bathroom to take a shower. When shower was done, Dani dried Lia's hair and came out to the living room sitting on the couch.
Dani : go into the room and pick out a book.
Lia (*says in excitement) : Yay !
Lia runs into the room getting ready for bed and picking out a book. Dani cleaned up a bit around the living room and heard the doorbell rang. She walked over and opened it to see Max standing there.
Dani (*asks) : Max ? what are you doing here ?
Max : i’m here to work.
Dani (*asks) : right now ?
Max : yes.
Dani : it’s off work hours.
Max (*asks) : do you have a problem with that ?
Dani : it's been a long day of work and i'm exhausted.
Max : we need to start now.
Dani : alright. come on in.
Dani opened the door widely for Max to come inside. He walked to the living room couch and sat there. Dani stood there and says...
Dani (*asks) : can you give me a minute ?
Max : sure.
Dani walked into the room where Lia was and read her the book until she fell asleep. She tucked Lia into bed as she slept and turned off the lights. Dani walked out of the room and closed the door shut completely. Dani walked to the living room where Max was and started to work. Max was curious about Lia so he asked....
Max (*asks) : you have a kid ?
Dani : no. it's my niece. her name is Lia Gerni.
Max (*asks) : your brothers ?
Dani : no. my older sister, Dyanna.
Max : Oh. lets get to work then.
Dani : okay.
Dani and Max spent the rest of the night planning out each other’s schedules. Dani was really tired so she fell asleep on the couch. Max looked up from working to see Dani sleeping there. He pulled the blanket on top of her and watched her sleep in peace. He was admiring her beautiful face. Then Dyanna opened the door to come inside of the apartment. She just got back from work and saw Max sitting there on the couch. She walked over and Max saw Dyanna standing there. He stood up to talk to her near the kitchen quietly.
Dyanna (*asks) : what are you doing here Max ?
Max : me and Dani were planning the project together.
Max : she fell asleep on the couch so i didn’t want to wake her up.
Dyanna (*asks) : is Lia sleeping too ?
Max : yeah, Dani put her to bed a couple hours ago.
Dyanna : that's good.
Max : i wanted to wait for you before leaving. i didn't want to leave without a notice.
Dyanna : thanks Max.
Max : i better get going back to my apartment.
Dyanna : night Max.
Max : night Dyanna.
Max took his papers and walked back to his apartment. As soon as he got back, he went to bed right away because he was so tired. Dyanna shuffled the papers on the coffee table where Dani was working at into a neat pile. Then Dyanna put on a blanket onto Dani leaving her there to sleep for the night. She turned off the lights in the living room afterwards and went inside the room to sleep with Lia.
