Being Neighborly
Confrontation.
Dani, Max, and Daryl Jarvis stood up. Dani and Daryl Jarvis shook each other's hands and Dani left out the office building. Max walked Dani awkwardly and there was no communications towards the two of them. When they got to the building lobby, Dani and Max stopped because Dani had something to say to him.
Dani : i know that you hate this idea of us working together.
Dani : and we don't have to Max. i'll totally understand.
Max : No, it's fine. if my boss says for me to do this then i'll do it.
Max : i have to follow his orders anyways.
Dani : i just don't want to be a burden to you. i know how you are Max.
Dani : you take business really seriously and so do i.
Max : it's not a burden at all.
Dani : i hope that we get to know each other more through doing these projects Max.
Max : yeah, sure thing.
Dani : well, i better get back to the company. i have a lot of work to do.
Max : have a safe ride back.
Dani (*smiles & says) : bye Max.
Max : bye Dani.
Dani was about to turn around to leave but Max called Dani back by saying...
Max : the classic bear was a lifesaver for me this morning Dani.
Dani (*smiles & says) : i'm glad that you liked it.
Dani : i got to run. bye Max.
Dani turned around and walked outside of the building catching a cab back to the fashion company. Dani had to finish up some files that other people gave to her this morning. She also finished entering the designs into the system for June since this morning.
[4:30PM] Dani was finished with work in her office and headed to the fashion factory before going home. She checked on the spring line prototypes and their finishing touches. Everything was good as it is and she took them home in perfect condition.
[5:00PM] Dani had already gotten home from a long day of work. Dyanna and Lia were already home. Dyanna went to the grocery store real quickly to buy some food for dinner. Dani looked after Lia while she was doing her homework in the living room. Dani was sketching in her notebook.
After a while, Dyanna came back from the store and started cooking dinner. They ate together before Dyanna had to go to her second work shift.
Dani : i know that you hate this idea of us working together.
Dani : and we don't have to Max. i'll totally understand.
