Being Neighborly
Marriage.
[SATURDAY] It was Dyanna’s and Lorianne’s wedding. Dyanna woke up that morning to go to the church to check up on the decorations which they scheduled the church ceremony at 3PM that day just hours before the reception dinner. Afterwards, Dyanna went to the hotel to see if everything was okay and placed at the right spot.
Dani was at the church where Lorianne was having her wedding ceremony at. After everyone went out to see Lorianne in the room before the ceremony started, Max came in to talk to Lorianne. He had his tuxedo on and ready to go. She had a feeling something was off and asked him as he sits next to her to talk. Lorianne also had second thoughts and that she realizes that she doesn't love Max but Freddie, who’s always been there for her all of her life.
Lorianne (*asks) : what's wrong ?
Max : i wanted to talk to you before we do this.
Lorianne : i wanted to talk to you too Max.
Max : you go first.
Lorianne : i love you Max but i don't think i can do this.
Lorianne : We’ve known each other for 3 years and it's been great.
Max (*asks) : but ???
Lorianne : but i didn't realize it until now that i love Freddie more.
Lorianne : We’ve known each other all of our lives and he’s been there for me.
Max : i figured you loved him because you two were so close to each other since then.
Lorianne : i'm sorry Max.
Max : it's okay. I don't want us to do this if we don't want to.
Lorianne (*asks) : you love Dani too much to let her go, huh Max ?
Max (*nods his head & says) : yeah. She’s everything to me.
Max : i hope you understand.
Lorianne : i do.
Max (*asks) : what do we tell the guests ?
Lorianne : we have to tell them the truth.
Lorianne : you have to go to Dani now and never let her go.
Lorianne : she’s your everything.
Max (*smiles & says) : and so is Freddie to you.
Lorianne (*smiles & says) : we know what to do now.
Max : lets go.
The ceremony started. Everyone took their seats and music started to play. Max took his place at the front where the best man were standing and Lorianne walked down the aisle with her father by her side. Lorianne looked at everyone and smiled at them happily. Dani was in the audience watching and were happy for Lorianne and Max. Once Lorianne got up to Max at the front, Dani took her leave out of the church quietly. She was happy enough to see Max happy with Lorianne and left. Max saw Dani leave out the church and looks at Lorianne which made her look at Dani too. Once Dani was out of the church walking to her car, Lorianne and Max faced everyone and says…
Max : we’re so very sorry about today.
Lorianne : but we won't be getting married today.
Max : we both love different people. We are truly sorry everyone.
Then Lorianne says to Max.
Lorianne : go chase after her Max.
Max : i don't know where she’s heading now.
Lorianne : her sister's wedding at the hotel.
Max (*asks) : which hotel ?
Lorianne : Grand Hilton Hotel, you can't miss it.
Max : thanks Lori.
Lorianne : go.
Max ran out of the church taking off his bow tie hurryingly to the hotel. Lorianne took care of the matter and escorted everyone out of the church apologizing. After everyone left and Lorianne changed out of her regular clothes, she came out of the church to see Freddie standing there waiting for her. She was surprised to see him there and happily asked him while stepping down the steps.
Lorianne (*asks) : you're still here ?
Freddie (*asks) : and you scared everyone away ?
Lorianne (*smiles & says) : i didn't scared them away. I escorted them all out with an apology.
Freddie : i think you did great.
Lorianne : thank you very much.
Freddie (*asks) : so what now ?
Lorianne : it's time to move on.
Freddie : that's good.
Lorianne (*asks) : you waited for me ?
Freddie : yeah. I didn't want you to be lonely when you came out.
Lorianne (*stares at Freddie & says) : thanks.
Freddie (*asks) : do you want to take a walk ?
Lorianne : i would love that a lot.
Freddie and Lorianne walked around a park nearby and talked.
Freddie : so i'm curious about something.
Lorianne (*asks) : what are you curious about ?
Freddie : who you fell in love with.
Lorianne (*asks) : you really want to know ?
Freddie : yes.
Lorianne : it's you Freddie.
Freddie stops walking which made Lorianne stopped behind him. He turns around and asks…
Freddie (*asks) : me ?
Lorianne : yes. You.
Freddie (*asks) : since when ?
Lorianne : since when i can remember and since now.
Freddie kept on staring at Lorianne and she says to break the awkwardness.
Lorianne : i don't expect you to say anything back and you probably don't love me back.
Lorianne : i’ll understand completely.
Freddie (*asks) : why ?
Lorianne : you've been there for me all of my life when i needed you.
Lorianne : you did so many things for me and
Lorianne : i was so blinded by Max’s love that i didn't realize it till now.
Lorianne : i love you Freddie.
Freddie walks closer to Lorianne and holds onto her hands. Then he leaned his forehead towards Lorianne and says..
Freddie : i love you since we were little.
Lorianne (*smiles & says) : it's been too long.
From there, they shared a kiss together on the lips.
Once Dani got to the church, she changed into her bridesmaid’s dress in the room. Afterwards, she helped the others and Dyanna ready. [3PM] Everyone took their seats and places. The ceremony started at the church and Dyanna had gotten married to her husband, Tyler Emerson.
