[THURSDAY] That morning, Dani woke up early to have breakfast with Dyanna and Lia just like old times. Dyanna drove Lia to school before going to work at the hospital. Dani cleaned up the apartment a bit and head out to run errands for Dyanna. She wore a white shirt with black stripes, red thin belt, navy blue rolled up capris pants, black flats, yellow purse, with her hair down naturally. So when Dani was going out of the apartment, Max came out of his apartment. While Dani was walking towards the elevator, Max stopped her to talk.

Max : Dani.
Dani (*turns around after hearing her name & says) : oh hey.
Max (*asks) : you're going somewhere ?
Dani : yeah. I have to pick up a few things and check up on the venue for Dyanna’s wedding.
Max : Oh.

Dani looks at Max realizing that he was about to go somewhere.

Dani (*asks) : are you going somewhere too ?
Max : i was just going to head out to get some coffee.
Max (*asks) : do you want to come ?
Dani : sure. Just quickly because i have errands to do today.
Max : i’ll come with you too.
Dani : okay...

Dani and Max took an elevator downstairs walking out of the apartment building towards Joann’s Coffee Shop. They headed straight for the counter and saw Cece and Riley working together, still there after 5 years. Cece and Riley were so happy to see Dani back in town.

Cece (*says happily) : your back Dani !
Dani (*smiles & says) : in the flesh.
Riley (*asks) : where have you been all these years ?
Dani : i was in Paris working for LV.
Cece (*surprise & asks) : LV ?? Louis Vuitton ??
Dani : yes.
Riley : wow, someone has been working hard going to the top.
Cece (*asks) : is that why you haven't been around lately ?
Dani : yes, that's why.
Riley (*asks Dani & Max) : what can we get for you two today ?
Dani : the usual for me.
Max : and an americano for me.
Cece : got it.

Max handed Riley his credit card and paid. While Dani and Max were waiting for their coffee, they stood there talking for a bit.

Dani : thank you for the coffee Max.
Max (*smiles & says) : you're welcome. I'm just glad you're back in town.
Dani (*smiles & says) : i'm happy to be back.

Cece came out with two coffee cups in her hand giving it to Max and Dani. They bid their farewells to Cece and Riley. They walked out of the shop driving her car to the flower shop where Dyanna told Dani to pick up the flowers for the wedding. Afterwards, they went to pick up the bridesmaid dresses and to the venue at the hotel for the ceremony dinner.

[5PM] Dani were finished with all of the errands. While they were walking out of the hotel carrying some things in a box towards the car trunk. When Max was done putting the things in the trunk, Dani stood there saying holding the box of things..

Dani : i'm sorry.

Max stood up from the trunk and walked towards Dani getting the box from her so that he would put it in the trunk. After putting the box in the trunk, Max closed it and asks as walking towards Dani.

Max (*asks) : what ?
Dani : i'm sorry i didn't contact you after i landed in Paris.
Dani : and after all of these years too.
Max : it's all in the past now. It's okay Dani.
Max : it's time we all move on and starting with the wedding this weekend.
Dani (*asks) : do you love Lorianne ?
Max : i love her as much as i love you back then Dani.
Max : shes my everything.
Dani : just promise me that you’ll get married to her.
Dani : And if you dont, dont let me be the one who’s keeping you from getting married.
Max : i know Dani. you don't have to tell me about this, i know.
Dani : i'm really sorry about Justin too.
Max : it's okay. I totally understand.
Max : lets go. There’s something i want to take you.

Max went to the driver side and Dani went in the car wondering where Max was going to take her. They arrived in the parking lot of the main entrance of Times Square. They walked around the TKTS stairs in New York City. They sat on the stairs and talked to each other.

Dani : in all of my life living here in New York City, i have never been here.
Max (*asks) : really ??
Dani : yeah. Its my first time here.
Max : i took Lorianne here once and she didn’t like it very much.
Dani (*asks) : why ?
Max : she doesn't like crowded places like here.
Dani : i really like it here.
Max (*asks) : you do ?
Dani : yeah, i do.
Max : then let's hang out here for a little while.
Dani : i really like that.
Max (*asks) : so how was Paris ?
Dani : it was great. When i was free, i explore everywhere in Paris.
Dani : It was the most beautiful place i’ve ever seen.
Max : i’ve always wanted to go to Europe but i've never got a chance to.
Max : i've been so busy with work at the company that i’d never got the time.
Dani : you should go some times. It’s a great experience.
Max : i think i will.
Dani (*asks) : how were you here in NYC ? besides me leaving.
Max : everythings fine. The company has been busy and work is just work.
Dani : i heard from Daryl Jarvis that you won't be working at the company
Dani : after your married anymore.
Dani (*asks) : why is that ?
Max : we thought it’ll be time to move out of NYC and to LA for a new change.
Max : and besides, i'm transferring to another music company there so it's a win-win situation.
Dani : you have to know that Daryl Jarvis offered me a job to work for the company.
Dani : as one of the top designers there.
Max : thats great news. I'm happy for you.
Dani (*smiles & says) : yeah, me too.
Dani (*looks at Max & says) : i'm glad that you found someone who you love
Dani : and marrying each other.
Dani : congratulations Max. Lorianne is a lucky girl.
Max (*smiles & says) : thanks. It really means a lot hearing it from you.
Max : and i hope that one day you’ll find someone who loves you for you.
Dani (*smiles & says) : thank you.

[6PM] Dani and Max went home to the apartment. Dani brought everything up to the apartment and rested. Max went into his apartment to see Lorianne sitting there at the kitchen table. He came over to back hug her and then went to get a glass of water. She was thinking about something and asked him curiously…

Lorianne (*asks) : where have you been all day ?
Max (*lies) : i've been at the company packing up the last few things.
Lorianne : i called you 3 times and you didn't pick up.
Max : well, i was just busy.

Lorianne notices the girl perfume smell around Max and questions…

Lorianne (*asks) : have you been out with a girl ?
Max (*says & asks) : no, why ?
Lorianne : you smell like perfume, floral.
Max : no, you're just smelling things.
Lorianne (*curious & asks) : were you with Dani the entire day ?

Max realizes that Lorianne had already found out and turns around to say…

Max : i'm sorry i lied to you.
Max : i ran into her this morning when i was going out for some coffee.
Max : and i spent the entire day with her running errands for her sister's wedding.
Lorianne : that's all you had to say, was the truth Max.
Max : i'm sorry Lori.
Lorianne : it's okay.
Lorianne : you know, ever since Dani came back from Paris.
Lorianne : You have been different ever since
Lorianne : you met her again that day at the wedding shop.
Lorianne : i can tell that you’ve been thinking about her a lot lately.
Lorianne : your wanting to start something again with her and forgive her.
Lorianne : and now i have a feeling that you have second thoughts
Lorianne : on getting married with me this weekend.
Max : Lorianne.
Lorianne : no Max. from today till the day we get married, i want you to think about it.
Lorianne : it makes me wonder if all of this was meant to be.
Lorianne : i don't want you to walk away from someone you love all of your life.
Lorianne : i want you to be happy with whoever whether that's me or not.
Lorianne : i’ll be here waiting until Saturday. Goodnight Max.

Lorianne said everything she needed to say to Max and how she felt about him and Dani. Max stood there thinking of how much he messed up with Lorianne. Lorianne walked out of the apartment complex and called Freddie on the way back home to meet up with him to talk. They met at the Hangang River sitting on the bench.

Freddie (*asks) : what's wrong ?
Lorianne : i just had a talk with Max.
Freddie (*asks) : what happened ?
Lorianne : it's about him having feelings for Dani.
Freddie (*asks) : that girl at dinner the other day ?
Lorianne : yeah. I had a feeling from the start that he’s still in love with her.
Lorianne (*asks) : did you know that he spent the entire day with her today ?
Lorianne : they probably did things me and him could done.
Freddie : Lori. it's just one day, it doesn't mean anything. Their good friends.
Lorianne : thats just saying like me and you being good friends.
Lorianne : i’d always wondered what it was like not knowing Max
Lorianne : and if he didn't propose to me.
Lorianne : everything would change.
Freddie : it would change and we know it. But what's already been done is done, for good.
Freddie (*asks) : so what did you tell Max ?
Lorianne : i told him that he has to think about it until the day we get married.
Lorianne : i wanted him to make a wise decision and be happy.
Freddie (*asks) : and what are you going to do now ?
Lorianne : i'm going to go through with the wedding until Saturday.
Lorianne : We’ll see where it goes from here.
Freddie (*asks) : are you sure you want to do this ?
Lorianne : his feelings might change until this day.
Freddie : whatever you do, i'm going to be here for you and support you.
Freddie : i just want you to be happy Lori. i always wanted you to be.
Lorianne : i know Freddie.
Freddie : now go home and get some rest Lori.
Lorianne (*nods her head & says) : okay. Thanks Freddie for being here.
Lorianne : i'm sorry i called you out so late.
Freddie : it's okay. I'm here if you need me.
Lorianne : i know, thanks.

Freddie took Lorianne home in his car. When Freddie drove up to Lorianne’s house, she had already fell asleep in the passenger seat. Freddie parked his car in her driveway and looked over to Lorianne to see her sleeping. He took a little time looking at her sleep and imagined how pretty she looked. He was happy to call her his best friend. Then Freddie took Lorianne in her house to her room. He tucked her into bed and left a note on the table beside her saying “I took you to your room last night. You looked tired so i didn't want to interrupt your sleep. Have a good night and good morning. P.S. I made some soup, it's on the stove. - Freddie”
