Please Don't Get Too Friendly

I felt a soft touch along the side of my face and my eyelids fluttered open. I saw the gentle, sad face of Chanyeol and I immediately felt at ease. I glanced around and realised I was in an unknown room that I suspected was his.

"So, how do you feel?" he asked softly.

I looked back at him and smiled.

"My eyes sting a little bit and I feel sore in my face, but other than that I'm perfectly fine."

"Can you tell me what happened? Before you called Baekhyun?"

I thought for a moment, then remembered the reason I was at their dorm. My heart sank and all my peacefulness was gone.

"Right..." I sighed. "I basically found out my manager hates me because my parents did something to her I think and she wants to ruin my debut by keeping me from seing my friends. She even said that it would be better if I dated one of you guys because then she would just pay off a random girl to act as your other girlfriend and-"

I stopped speaking, choked up once again by the strong emotions I felt. Chanyeol stayed silent and patted my hand, understanding. I looked at him thankfully and we remained like that for a couple more minutes, until Suho came in to check on me.

"Chanyeol, you can go to sleep. I'll bring her to the kitchen so she can eat something."

Curious, I looked around for the hour and realised it was already 6:35 AM.

"I've been out for 6 hours?" I asked, surprised.

"Yeah, I guess you needed the sleep," said Chanyeol, with a tender feel in his voice. Don't, or else I'm going to wonder things I'm forbidden to. More now than ever.
"And that big guy that usually loves to sleep actually stayed up here all night looking out for you. We just couldn't believe it when he proposed to do that," added mischieviously the leader, smirking at him.

"Hey! Why did you say that? She didn't need to know that," the Beagle Line member replied back, pouting and embarrassed.

I stared back at him, incredulous.

"You did? Thanks, Chanyeol oppa. It's really nice of you," I said softly, blushing.

He replied nothing but I could see that he was happy that he pleased me, and it made me blush even more. But that moment of shy awkwardness was quickly interrupted by an annoyed Suho who pushed his member to the side and took my arm to help me get up from the comfortable bed. After a a look between the two that I didn't quite catch, he led me through the beautiful house and helped me go down the stairs so we could finally reach the floor I was familiar to. We walked to the kitchen while whispering to make sure we wouldn't wake up the tired fellows upstairs. I sat down at the counter while I watched the leader make something that smelled good, but I didn't know what it was. Finally, he served me something that D.O. had showed him to do and it tasted delicious. I couldn't clearly see what was in there since it was dark and my eyes still hurt but it tasted like chocolate, marshmallows and a bit of salt. I expressed my thanksand appreciation of his concoction by eating it all up quickly. After that, we spoke together for a little while about nothing and everything. An hour later, all the other members woke up and came downstairs, except for Chanyeol, who had stayed up later than everyone else. After their breakfast, made by D.O., we all gathered in the living room and they began questioning me.

"Amy, why did you call Baekhyun hyung instead of me? I'm much more reliable than him, you know," asked Sehun as he winked at his friend.

In response, Baekhyun glared at him and decided to sass his maknae.

"It's just that you're always on your phone because you're too lazy to do anything else. But yeah, I was wondering that too. Why did you call me?" he asked, turning to me.

"I think it's because your number is saved first, because it's listed in order of alphabet. I was in panic and clicked on the first name I saw," I explained.

"Can you tell us what happened to you, now?" Xiumin asked carefully, searching for some sort of sign that would tell him it wasn't the right time to ask.

I decided to tell them about everything I had heard, beginning from when the van had dropped me off at home. Of course, I kept for myself the little discussion I had with Chanyeol, but otherwise I told them all that had happened. Sometimes, the guys would grunt with frustration as I repeated what I had heard my manager say. Some of them even cursed at her under their breaths, hoping I wouldn't hear so it wouldn't hurt me, although I did but didn't mind. They were just saying what I didn't dare to say, or rather what I couldn't bring myself to, as I had respected her so much and looked up to her like my own mother. At the end, they were all frustrated but proud that I had recorded everything.

"You can go visit the chairman today and show him that. He'll surely do something to get you another manager," suggested professionally Suho. "I'm sure some of us who don't have a schedule will want to come with you."

"Whoever doesn't have one should go with her," Lay added. "It would be wrong of us, as men, to let her shoulder all that alone."

They all nodded in agreement. It was said that Sehun, Baekhyun and Chanyeol didn't have anything to do later in the afternoon, so we decided to go there then. I was touched by their obvious sense of protection towards me and decided to treat them all to bubble tea, which they accepted gladly. I headed to the kitchen and made the same ones I did last time, but added some whipped cream with fruits in another plate, as I wanted to please them as much as I could. They all thanked me heavily before devouring my treats happily. I looked at them, sipping slightly my own bubble tea. What did I even do to deserve all this? They just seem so happy, and I'm partially the cause of it (the main one being food). I got the great EXO to be my friends, and now they even act as my protective older brothers. This is so surreal. Once Sasha comes over, I'll definitely introduce her to them. They'll love her for sure.

"Oh, and Amy," called Suho. "Would you like to stay over, for a couple of days? We think it could be a better idea than having you return to your dorm with that horrible woman."

I gasped, choked on my drink and exclaimed:

"Do you really think this is a good idea? I mean, the chances I get caught by some crazy stalker fans! And wouldn't the company and your manager disagree?"

"Well, I think the only issue we see is the fans. I'm sure the company would agree, due to the circumstances, and our manager hyung is really the best. Didn't he decide by himself to load your stuff, when we came to pick you up? We're all pretty sure he likes you. It's really okay with us, too."

"But what about the beds? Is there enough space?"

He hesitated a moment, then glanced around nervously before saying:

"That... There won't be any problem if you agree to sleep in the same bed of one of us."

My eyes went wide and I stood there, unsure of what to say.

Those guys wanted to get me with him so bad, they would have done anything. And that's exactly what they did, but I didn't exactly dislike what happened next...

Hello! Tomorrow is the day before Christmas already!!! But that also means I won't be updating for the next couple of days, because of all the visiting I'll have and do. But I hope you were satisfied with this! Oh, and just so you know, it's already 11:50 PM. I really wanted to update today, as I knew this would be the last day I'd be able to. :) And guys, please comment who you see better as a Peter Pan between Chen and Sehun, I need your help!
