Please Don't Get Too Friendly

I woke up the next morning with the help of Seo Hyun, although it was with a different feeling than the previous mornings. Normally, she would wake me up gently and wait until I was ready so we would go down together. But that morning, she only shook me gently and went downstairs once she had the confirmation I was awake for good. As she exited our room quielty, I could only guess that was had happened the night before affected her more than she wanted to let it show. Guilt flooded once again over me as I took my shower and got dressed. I went downstairs nervously and I tried to breathe evenly as I walked on every step. My heart pounded strongly as I thought of everything that could be said to me once I had reached the first floor. I looked towards the table where everyone was already seated, waiting for me as usual. I gulped and walked to my place slowly, trying to ignore the piercing stares of my friends.

"Okay, well... Now that everyone is present, we can begin!" said awkwardly Jung Ah unnie.

We all began to eat silently and after a while, the manager cleared her throat.

"Uh, Amy? The MV filming was moved to begin today, because of EXO's busy schedule. I hope you don't have anything set during the next few days."

I looked at her while swallowing my food harshly.

"To-today? Okay, no, I don't have anything," I answered, trying not to sound too relieved. Thank God something got me out of this house quickly.

"We have to be there at 12:30. You have for about an hour to get yourself prepared, because the set is far from here. Oh, and since I'm busy today as well, you're going to have to share a van with the guys."

Everyone choked on their food, like it was already planned.

"Why? What do you have to do today?" I asked, thinking back to the time I had to lay down on them. Please let it never happen again. That was so embarassing. And also... I don't think it's safe for me to stay this near Chanyeol oppa ever again.

"The girls are going to have their first solo photoshoot," she explained. "Don't worry, yours is going to be tomorrow night. And you're all going to get a shoot of the group in 2 days if I remember correctly."

My heart once again beat irregularly as I thought of everything that could happen that day in painful details. I got ready quickly and sent an email to Sasha, informing her of my previous days. I hoped she wouldn't ask much about it, for I didn't feel like I could keep things from her more than what I already did. Right after I clicked on 'Send', my manager called me from downstairs to tell me we had to go. I glanced at the hour. 10:45, huh? That means I'm going to have to be in an enclosed space with those idols for about 1 hour and 15 minutes? Might as well send me to war now, at least there I know I'll die right away. These guys are too dangerous. Especially him..."Aren't you going already?" asked an annoyed voice.

My bubble of thoughts popped as I looked up from my phone to see Seung Hye staring at me strangely.

"Yeah, I was, sorry," I mumbled before getting up.

As I was about to cross the door, a thought stopped me and I looked back at her.

"Seung Hye," I began tentatively. "Jung Ah unnie told me to ask you about why we were placed in the same group. I mean, it's pretty clear you hate me, and the committee surely must have known that. Is it because of a request of yours that we ended up in the same group? Why would you have done that?"

She stared at me for a second, then sighed.

"You know, what we think of someone is mostly based on the perception we have of them. It seems that for you, if one acts mean to you, they immediately hate you. On the contrary, if one acts good to you, then you can be best friends quickly. Only black or white. But let me tell that there is some grey you don't seem to know about. What if the person that is mean actually wants to express something else that could be good? Or the person that is nice, to stab you in the back later?"

She paused, then smiled at me strangely, almost softly, as if she wanted me to understand something from her, hidden deeply in her big, black eyes. She sighed as she probably saw my questioning face.

"Go now or you're going to be late, unnie," she added sarcastically as she strided past me gracefully to go in her own room.

More puzzled than ever, I went downstairs and followed hurriedly behind my manager as we reached quickly the car. During the ride, she tried to know what had taken me time to go down, but I would only say vague things. In the end, she gave up and dropped me off at the company.

"EXO's manager just called me and they should be here soon, don't worry. But since it's cold, just get Inside to stay warm. You cannot catch a cold, absolutely not," she insisted before saying a quick goodbye and going again to the house to get the other girls for their photoshoot.

I shivered as I hurriedly walked into the heated building. After only a few minutes of waiting, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see 4 out of 9 members.

"Yo, how are you?" grinned Baekhyun.

"Hope you didn't wait for too long," said caringly Suho.

"I can't wait to film with you! I'm sure it's going to be real fun," smirked Sehun.

"You're not too tired, are you? It's going to be a long day of filming," added D.O.

I smiled at them, feeling a bit relieved that I didn't spot a giant with big ears among the welcoming crew. He's probably in another van. Maybe I won't have to spend 1 hour and 15 minutes too close to him after all! After I answered all of their questions and chatted for a bit, we all walked to get to our van. Luckily, this time, they had two vans prepared for us, so a situation like last time wouldn't happen again. We all got into the van quickly and I stopped right in my tracks, my heart along with it.

"Hi," greeted a deep, mesmerizing voice. I didn't realise I had longed to hear it that much. Wait, erase that. This is a no-no thought for now.

That situation was dangerous, and I couldn't help it if they heard my heart from now on. I couldn't control it anymore. Although I wouldn't say it out loud for now, it was obvious that I loved Park Chanyeol. Not only that, but I wouldn't even be able to hide it any longer.

Everything was a mess in my head, and the puzzle Seung Hye had added in it didn't help my cause for anything in this world. Unfortunately for me, this was not the end of my problems.

Helloo! I'm back and school is finished! YEAH! ^^
Sorry I didn't update in a while, but God this last week was busy... Homeworks, orals, more homeworks, more orals and drama didn't help me. But that's not the point, now is it?
So I think that I'm going to update a lot more during the Christmas holidays, since I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands. I might even do more than one update per day, depending on my inspiration. I just really want to begin the other story I've been thinking of for the past few weeks, I think it's really good! :)
