Chapter Five: Kayla Goes To The Concert
KAYLA'S POV
My outfit consisted of tight, black jeans and a black T-shirt with the word 'SHINee' written on it. I couldn't wait for the concert. After we bought our outfits, the girls and I went back to the hotel. We started to get ready right away. After I put the clothes on, I looked through some of the shoes I had brought.
I decided to go with my black leather combat boots. I tied my hair into a ponytail and put some lip gloss on my lips. I went into the living room of our hotel room and waited for the other girls. Joy was the next one done. She had decided on skinny jeans and a baby blue T-shirt.
She wore blood-red high heels. She had curled her earthy brown hair and put on some blush. China was after her. She had decided to go with black leather pants. She wore neon pink combat boots. She had her midnight black hair down, and she had no make-up on.
After China, Jamie made her appearance. She had decided on black jeans too, but she had gone with a pink tank top. She wore pink sneakers too. Her beautiful strawberry blond hair was pulled to one side in a ponytail. She had very little make-up on.
She wore a little blush and some eyeshadow. Fay danced into the room. She had gone with a black mini-skirt and a black tank top. She wore black high heels. Her dirty-blond hair was curled in some places, and it twirled around her when she walked.
She had no make-up on. I looked us all over and smiled. "I think we are going to make a lot of boys drool."
The girls smirked. Joy asked, "Are you ready to see Onew in person, Kayla?"
I shrug. "It is a little nerve wreaking. I mean, he is this super popular idol. I'm just an ordinary girl."
Fay said, "Don't sell yourself short, Kayla. Your an amazing friend."
I smiled at her. I grab my backpack and put it on. "Let's go. I want to get good spots."
We grab the tickets and backstage passes on our way out. We decided to walk to the concert since it was only two blocks away. When we arrived at the place, we noticed that not many people had showed up yet. There was still three hours until the show. We showed the person in charge our tickets, and he let us through.
Fans were allowed to watch the rehearsal. Luckily, we got some first-row seats. We all wanted to be able to see the guys clearly. I placed my backpack under my seat. I didn't want to lose it with all that food in there.
As we watched the guys rehearse, I smiled to myself and sang along. After three hours of sound checks and rehearsals, it was finally time to start the concert.
