Love Me or Love Me Not

Hana stared at Mark asleep in their bedroom probably exhausted from his friends visit at the hospital before he took her home. She couldn’t help but chuckle at the amount of energy his friends had. They wore the poor couple out with their craziness. Hana couldn’t help, but laugh at them and their funny stories. Especially the funny stories Jackson had on Mark.
Mark opened his eyes, and stretched. He was so exhausted from everything that happened plus his crazy friends, and Jackson embarrassing him by telling stories about him.
“Yah aren’t you supposed to be my home doctor? How were you still sleeping when your patient was awake?” she chuckled.
Mark smiled. “Good morning sunshine. Had a good sleep?”
“It was okay my chest hurt me a little, but seems like you had a better sleep than me.” She grinned.
“I only slept that good because I was happy you were next to me again safely. Do you want your pain meds?”
“Not right now Doctor Tuan. I’m okay.” She said holding in her laugh.
“Doctor Tuan? Well then since I’m your doctor you have to listen to everything I say.” He smirked.
“You also have to take care of all your patient’s needs Doctor.” She smirked back.
Mark smirked. “We’ll see. It depends if it’s not too crazy.”
Hana scoffed. “Well anyway, I’m hungry. Can you make me something please?” she pouted.
Mark giggled. ”You don’t have to try to use aegyo. I’ll feed you silly. What do you want to eat?”
“Hmm…Can I have soup? I’m not in the mood for anything too heavy.”
“Okay. Soup it is. Stay here and I’ll bring it to you. Don’t move I don’t want you to be in pain.”
“Okay, but try to hurry. My stomach is eating itself alive.” Right when Hana finished her sentence her stomach growled like she hadn’t eaten in days.
Mark started laughing. “Wow I better cook fast or your stomach will make the house explode.”
Mark kissed her forehead then ran into the kitchen to make his wife some food.
While he was in the kitchen making food, she took the time to just think over everything that happened. She was glad that everything was finally over, and she would be even happier once she healed, and could move around again without pain. She hated Daehyun for everything he put her through. He broke her heart, and then when she found happiness again he tried to destroy it. She hopes he rots in jail forever because of all the hell he put her thorough.
“Got the food ready to eat?” Mark chuckled.
“Yeah food! I’m so hungry. It looks so good.”
Mark sat on the other side of the bed then he took a spoon full of soup then raised his arm to her mouth.
“Alright say ahh.”
“Why? I can feed myself my hands aren’t broken.”
“You said yourself that I’m the doctor so you have to listen to my orders, so if you want to eat say ahh.” Mark pushed the spoon toward her mouth.
Hana scoffed. “Fine, but blow it first it’s too hot.”
Mark blew onto the soup then placed it near her lips. She slurped up the soup and anytime any fell onto her chin Mark scooped it up with the spoon.
“Yah I feel like such a baby. It’s my fault I’m like this, so you shouldn’t have to try so hard to care for me.” She pouted.
Mark placed down the spoon and placed his hands on her face to make her look at him. “It’s not your fault. You didn’t know that Daehyun guy would go crazy. It’s actually my fault for not noticing something was wrong and being there to protect you.” He sighed.
Hana place her hands over his, and looked into his eyes. “You didn’t know. I thought that by not telling you and handling it myself things would go away, but I made it worse. You have nothing to feel guilty about because you did everything you could. I was the one who was stubborn and didn’t tell you.”
Hana felt bad she didn’t want him blaming himself for what happened especially since he had nothing to do with her past. She started to think about maybe if she had told him maybe things could have turned out different. Maybe a lot of things could have been avoided. She just didn’t want to get him hurt, but sadly he ended up hurt anyway all because she thought she could handle it herself. She felt like such an idiot.
“Well whenever anything at all happens tell me. I’m your husband I’m here to help you for better or worse, in sickness and in health because that’s what I vowed when I married you. I should have been more persistent in finding out what was wrong with you, but I didn’t want to seem annoying. Next time I’m going to hold you down until you answer all my questions.”
Hana chuckled. “Yes sir, but anyway let’s forget what happened, and just move on. I really hope that there won’t be a next time anyway. You don’t have any crazy exes do you?” she teased.
“Nope I don’t think so. Anyway come on let me finish feeding you and get your bath ready for you. Then we could watch movies or something. Better yet maybe I should just shower with you. It will save time and water that way.” He smirked.
“Yah w-wh-at do you mean shower w-w-with me? I can shower on my own.” She blushed a deep shade of red.
“Nope Doctor Tuan says you need a shower buddy. So come on eat up, so I can help you in the shower since you’re my patient.” He winked and raised his eyebrows.
Hana scoffed. ”You’re such a pervy flirt. You’re still as pervy as when I first met you.” She giggled.
Mark scowled. “I’m not a pervert. Besides you’re my wife and I’m just looking out for your needs.”
“Yeah and at the same time looking after your needs.” She laughed.
Mark laughed and shrugged.
After Hana finished her soup, and took her shower with her silly shower buddy.
They got dressed, and then they headed downstairs to watch some TV.
They were watching family comedies, when suddenly Mark cleared his throat.
“Hana I’ve been thinking maybe we should start a family of our own. I want to be a daddy, and you know our parents have been asking us when we will start a family. What do you think?”
Hana stared at him with widened eyes. “I don’t know, but to be honest it would be nice to have some more noise around the house. I do want to be a mom too. So are you saying you want to start trying to make me pregnant?”
“Yeah I do. Let’s start trying to make a family.” He grinned and kissed her lips.
Hana smiled. Soon she might possibly be a mom. She couldn’t wait to see what adventures waited for them as parents.
