“I got it! I got my VIP ticket to the concert!” I had called my sister to brag about going to the Block B Halloween concert because that is just what she would do. We love each other dearly and normally she would be going with me but she has to work. I can’t believe I’m going to go alone actually. It isn’t like me at all but I’ve been trying to be more brave and to take chances when they are presented. This concert was too good to pass up. I have to drive for four hours to get to the arena but that isn’t the hard part. I’m not good alone. I feel awkward and I’m not a people person either so this is a huge risk for me, personally, to take.
“Lucky!” she said. I could tell she was happy for me even if she was a little envious.
“That isn’t all though. I didn’t realize that when I bought the ticket I would be put in for a drawing too,” I said.
“For what?”
“I won a pass for the Midnight Masquerade After Party!”
“With Block B? Will they actually be there?” She was definitely envious now.
“Yep.”
“Oh my gosh! I’m tempted to quit my job!” she said.
“No. Besides, I only have one ticket and one pass,” I said.
“I hate you! I totally hate your guts right now.”
“I know,” I said with a little smile.
