But You Love Me

“Saeyong-ah, you need to come now.”
I run as if my life depended on it. My lungs feeling dry but i’m not stopping till I get to them. I find the right correct corridor and see the crowd at the end of it. oh no, nearly everyone in the year group is here. I sprint the last corridor length with the rest of my strength and push the crowd away finding the centre. The scene; the Bulletproof Boys suppressing my friend, Hyemin. against the lockers. I step in between them and my friend without hesitation.
“Yah, Yoongi, Bangtan… can you stop being such air heads and get away from my friend?”
Yoongi looks me in the eyes and scoffs. The rest of Bangtan giving me looks of disgust and anger.
“You wanna be picked on too? Didn’t know you have a shit about anything to be honest. Laying low, out of sight… you should be glad I don’t choose you as my special “buddy”.”
Yoongi speaks closing in on my space leaving a giant shadow over me as if it would intimidate me.
“Go ahead, play me like one of your many victims, that’s fine, but as soon as you touch my friends… that’s when I start to give a shit.”
By now the crowd had started to whisper and some even left.
“Oh really?”
“Yeah really, what you think i’m joking like you all the time? No, I’m actually honest about what I say,” I say definitely looking him straight in the eyes with no fear.
His expression changes as I see sadness and anger creep across his face. “No you’re not. You always lie!” He nearly shouts at my face. The shout hits me heard and it flashes my memory back to the only time i’ve ever lied to him. “I’ll be back,” I lied to him. Feeling guilty and Hyemin’s grip on my wrist tighten the situation seems more dangerous compared to when I entered it. The crowd is half the size but still muttering is floating around. Feeling my anger build up I turn my perspective around. He let me go. He could have stopped me.
“That was your fault!” I shout carelessly at him.
He was ready when I shouted and he replied immediately with a shout even bigger,”maybe you should have stayed! Maybe you should have been smart enough to know! And not just realise now…”
He’s right. And that’s what makes my eyes fill with tears. I could have reversed all this shit that’s happened to him and been there for him. I grip my friends wrist as I notice Yoongi is also tearing up. His eyes red and the Bangtan members are clearing everyone else off. Not letting each other’s stare go we stare on and on into each other’s eyes seeing who will crack first. His first tear fall quickly down his right cheek. I hold my breath slightly. “Get lost.” He says heartlessly turning away from me and walking away.
I walked away too with no hesitation. “Saeyong-ah, what just happened?”
I wipe my tears away and find Hyemin’s hand on my back. We walk slowly back out to the busy grounds during lunch. “Thank you. Whatever happened between you two must have been tough, so thank you for the help.” Hyemin says full of heart smiling at me genuinely (basically the reason why she was bullied). I smile back slightly choking on my tears still.
“No, thank you. You made me realise something.”
“what’s that?”
“Yoongi was right. I should have been there for him. So… i’m going to repay him.”
Across the ground I see Seokjin running towards me waving furiously. I laugh at his worried face as I know what’s coming next.

Here's chapter 6~! I'm really thankful to all of you readers/viewers. Instead of uploading a week from today, i'm going to wait till the view count hits 800! We can do it!
