They gathered and made their way outside into the cars. They took 2 big vans and 1 truck. One of the big vans have 8 seats so it fits half of the family. Joe drove the truck, Granny Anne and Bernard drove the big vans.

They all headed out to the grocery store and after shopping. And they went around the area where the Christmas Trees were to look for the one tree for the house. While everyone went their separate ways looking around for a tree, Ivy walked on her own trying to think about everything that was going through her head. Then Iris caught up with Ivy to talk to her and walk around looking at the trees at the same time.

Iris (*says as coming up from behind) : Hey.
Ivy (*says as looking at Iris) : Hey.
Iris (*asks) : so ?
Ivy (*asks) : what ?
Iris (*asks) : so what did you and Alex talk about ?
Ivy : you know, just catching up on life. thats all.
Iris : come on. we're sisters, you can tell me anything Ivy.
Ivy : we talked and came to an understanding now that we went our separate ways.
Ivy : there arent any hard feelings between us anymore.
Iris (*asks) : so thats it ?
Ivy : he also invited me to his wedding in February.
Iris (*asks) : he's getting married already ?
Ivy : yeah. he met the girl at his job a few months after me and him broke up.
Ivy : and they plan on getting married.
Iris (*asks) : and are you going to attend his wedding ?
Ivy : i told him that i was going to go so im going.
Iris : everything is going to be fine.
Ivy : i know.

Finally Audrey found a tree that she liked and she yelled out loud to tell everyone to come and see it. Then everyone made their way to where the tree was and looked at it. It was so huge, tall, and green. There was enough space to put the ornaments on including the colorful lights too. Granny Anne went to pay for the tree and the seller got the tree out onto the truck of their car. Everyone went to the cars to go home.

Once they got home, all the women took in the groceries and shopping bags while the men's helped bring in the Christmas tree. Laurel, Silvana, Iris, Granny Anne, Raina, Amy, and Ivy were all in the kitchen. Iris, Ivy, Raina were putting away the groceries in the fridge while Laurel, Silvana, Granny Anne started to cook dinner. William, Charlie, Ben, Jason, Tom Bailey, Bernard, Joe, Audrey, Nick, James were all in the living room decorating the Christmas tree. Audrey loves decorating the tree and directing all the men to where the ornaments should be even though she is little. Bernard and Ben were sweeping the floor that had sap all over. In the living room, the guys were talking while decorating the tree.

Ben (*asks everyone) : so what do you think they are talking about in there ?
William : don't be noisy Ben.
Ben (*ask) : what ? i'm just curious.
Charlie : well, don't be too curious.
Bernard (*asks) : is he (Ben) always like this ?
Tom Bailey : he's just Ben. he's always like this, you'll get use to it.
Ben : guys. i'm still standing right here.
Joe (*asks) : so how do you guys know each other so well ?
Tom Bailey : well. William and Charlie owns a restaurant together.
Tom Bailey : i go there to eat every so often and i became a regular there.
Joe (*asks) : and that's how you got to know Ivy so well too ?
Tom Bailey : most likely.
Bernard : i love how close you guys all are.
Tom Bailey : yeah, they're like family to me since i don't have any family around.
Audrey (*speaks up & says) : guys. we need to make the tree look pretty.

All of the guys laughed and continued on decorating the tree.
