(Tuesday, December 15th) By morning [7AM], while everyone was still asleep, Ivy woke up with her eyes slowly opened finding herself laying next to Charlie facing him. At first, she was really surprised but then she admired the structure of his handsome face.

During this time, someone was at the door knocking and Iris went to get it as she was waking up. She opened the door and sees Alex standing there.

Iris : Alex ? what are you doing here ?
Alex : i was wondering if Ivy is awake yet. i wanted to talk to her.
Iris : i dont know if shes awake but i can go check.
Alex : thanks.
Iris : come in. you might have to wait in the kitchen, everyone is sleeping in the living room.
Alex : its alright.
Iris : okay.

Iris invited Alex into the house and he walked into the kitchen to wait. Iris walked upstairs to knock on Ivy's door.

While Ivy was admiring his face when he was still asleep, Iris knocks on Ivy’s door. Ivy quietly got up, put on her robe, and opened the door to see who it was.

Ivy (*opens the door & sees Iris & asks) : Iris ?
Iris (*says & asks) : hey, did i wake you ?
Ivy : no. i was already awake.
Ivy (*asks) : is there anything wrong ?
Iris : Alex is here. he wants to talk to you Ivy.
Ivy (*asks) : about what ?
Iris : i don't know.
Ivy : tell him to wait, i’ll be right down. give me like 10 minutes.
Iris : alright.

Ivy closed the door and walked over to her side of the bed to arrange the blanket so it could look neat.

Then she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, shower, and put on nice clothes. She got out of the bathroom and wore a white t-shirt, blue with white polka dot skinny jeans, and her velcro black and white slip on shoes with her hair down.

Afterwards, she went downstairs with her little side purse with her cellphone and wallet inside.
As she walked downstairs, she saw Iris folding the blankets from last night in the living room. Iris and Ivy made eye contact with each other and talked quietly to each other.

Iris : good morning.
Ivy : morning.
Iris : he's in the kitchen waiting for you.
Ivy (*asks) : did he (Alex) say what he wanted to talk about ?
Iris : no. he just said to he wanted to talk to you.
Ivy : alright.

Iris continued on doing what she was doing and Ivy walked into the kitchen to see Alex sitting on the chairs of the counter. Alex turned around as he heard Ivy walked in and stood up.

Alex (*says as he sees Ivy) : Hey.
Ivy (*ask) : what are you doing here so early in the morning ?
Alex : i wanted to ask you if you wanted to grab some coffee and catch up.
Ivy : just for a little. i have to get back at 9:30 for a family shopping day.
Alex : we wont take long, we’ll be back then.
Ivy : alright, let's go.

Ivy and Alex walked out of the house and into Alex’s car to drive to a coffee shop at the Grove. They sat there and ordered their coffee. While waiting for their drinks, they talked to each other and catch up.

Alex : it's so nice to see you again Ivy. (*smiles)
Ivy (*smiles & says) : yeah, me too.
Ivy (*asks) : how are you these past couple of years ?
Alex : i've been good, just here and there with work.
Ivy (*ask) : are you still working at the hospital ?
Alex : yeah, i still am. right after we broke it off, i got a promotion at the hospital.
Ivy : that's great. i'm so proud of you.
Alex : you're now looking at the Head Doctor at Mckenzie Hospital.
Ivy : wow, thats impressive.
Alex : when i heard from my Grams that you were in town. i had to come and see you Ivy.
Ivy : you do know that i'm here every year, right ?
Alex : yeah but i dont go home to my Grams so much anymore so i wouldn't know.
Ivy : Oh.
Alex : so, how's life as a famous painter ?
Ivy : i'm not famous yet but i hope to be one day.
Ivy : i'm painting now every day and i'm working as a full time waitress at a restaurant.
Alex : oh, thats right. you work for the guys you brought with you. right ?
Ivy (*asks) : how did you know ?
Alex : i talked to your grams a few days ago when i came by giving her some food.
Ivy : Oh. so yeah. William and Charlie are the owners of the restaurant they invested.
Ivy : Ben and Jason are the waiters, we work for them.
Alex : i'm happy that you found friends you can work with.
Alex : i knew you'd get somewhere in life Ivy.
Alex (*asks) : what did i tell you before we split up ?
Ivy : you were one of those people right by my side who believed in my dreams.
Ivy : i thanked you everyday for that.
Alex : it was nothing.
Alex : i hope there wasn't any hard feelings between us.
Ivy : things just didn't work out for us, that's all.
Alex : well, i got good news for you.
Ivy (*asks) : what is it ?
Alex : a few months after we broke up, i met a girl who works alongside me at work.
Alex : after that, we began to date.
Ivy : that's wonderful !
Alex : yeah and we have been dating for 3 years already.
Alex : i asked her to marry me and we’re getting married in 2 months.
Ivy : that's great. congratulations Alex.
Alex : thank you. i hope you can come to my wedding when i get married in February.
Ivy (*asks) : would that be okay with your fiance ?
Alex : i told her about you and she’s okay with you coming.
Ivy : if she's okay with it then i'll come.
Alex : thanks Ivy.
Ivy : no problem.

After a while, Alex drove Ivy home and went their separate ways.

As Ivy was walking into the house in the living room, she saw everyone ready to go shopping. Granny Anne came downstairs to see everyone ready to go. She came across Ivy who just came back from drinking coffee with Alex. So Granny Anne called Ivy into the kitchen alone to talk about her morning talk with Alex.

Granny Anne (*asks) : did you go have coffee with Alex this morning ?
Ivy : yes. (*ask) how did you know ?
Granny Anne : Iris told me earlier when i asked her where you were.
Granny Anne (*asks) : so how did it go ?
Ivy : it went well. we just drank coffee and talked about life.
Ivy : he said that he's going to get married in February and he wants me to be there.
Granny Anne (*asks) : and are you going to be there for him ?
Ivy : well, i didnt say no. he was there for me and now i have to be there for him.
Ivy : i cant let him down Grams.
Granny Anne (*asks) : what about Charlie ?
Ivy (*asks) : you know about him ?
Granny Anne : as long as you live under my roof, i know everything that goes around.
Ivy : me and Charlie are close friends and we work together, thats all.
Ivy : i dont even know where we stand at the moment.
Ivy : but i know that we are friends.
Granny Anne : just dont go back to Alex and move on, okay ?
Ivy : i know Grams.

Granny Anne and Ivy came out with everyone else into the living room after talking.
