Then he wanted to take a walk at the Central Park. As he was walking around Central Park with snow falling at the skate park, he saw a silhouette of a girl that looked like Ivy and it was her. He slowly walked over next to her to talk to her.
Charlie (*calls Ivy's name while standing next to her) : Ivy.
As soon as she heard her name, she knew it was from Charlie and she turned around to walk away from him. She was still upset and didn't want to talk to him. She didn't want to listen to what he had to say because her headache was getting worst. He kept on calling her name.
Charlie (*calls Ivy's name) : Ivy, wait.
Ivy stopped and walks back to the spot where she was standing before looking out at the people skate at the ice park. She stood there wanting to listen to what he has to say.
Charlie : i'm sorry Ivy.
Ivy (*asks) : what are you sorry for ?
Ivy : you were right about everything.
Charlie (*asks) : i was ?
Ivy : yeah.
Charlie : i'm really sorry, i really mean it Ivy.
Ivy : i'm sorry for calling you careless and cold heart.
Ivy : i didn't know what i was thinking when i said that.
Ivy : you were right when you said how i chose New York City besides all of the others.
Ivy : and how my paintings weren't going anywhere.
Ivy : at some point, i thought so myself too.
Ivy : i really envy you Charlie and all of the things you have done with the restaurant.
Ivy : you've graduated from culinary school and now you have your own place with Will.
Ivy : you've worked all your life for this and look at me, i have nothing but passion.
Ivy : my paintings aren't in museums or being noticed.
Ivy looks at the painting in her hand and says....
Ivy : i wish that i could at least get noticed for my paintings.
Charlie : you will one day Ivy. you just need some hope.
Ivy : sometimes i just stop hoping.
Charlie : i want to apologize for saying that your work is a piece of shit.
Charlie : i didn't mean to say that, i'm sorry.
Ivy : its okay.
Charlie : if i begged you to come back to work for me again,
Charlie (*asks) : will you come back with me ?
Ivy : i thought you fired me.
Charlie : well, i'm not firing you.
Ivy (*asks) : so your really letting me come back to work ?
Charlie (*says as looking at Ivy) : yes.
Ivy (*smiles & says) : thank you Charlie. i will come back.
Charlie : thanks.
Ivy : since we're already here,
Ivy (*asks) : do you want to take a stroll in the park before we go back ?
Charlie : sure.
Ivy and Charlie walked next to each other around the park under the snowy weather. After a while, they made it in front of the hospital clinic. As they were standing there, Ivy was wondering why Charlie had brought her there so she asked him.
Ivy (*asks Charlie calmly) : what are we doing here ?
Charlie : i wanted us to stop by a hospital clinic before heading back to the restaurant.
Ivy : i can see that but why ?
Charlie : for you to get a health check up.
Ivy (*says as looking Charlie) : i don't need one Charlie.
Charlie : of course you do. your sick and we need to make sure.
Ivy (*asks) : why are you doing this ?
Charlie : i just want you to be healthy, that's all.
Ivy : i am healthy, don't worry.
Charlie : i want to make sure of that.
Charlie pulls Ivy's arm into the hospital clinic. She had no choice to go with him because if she didn't then he wouldn't let her come back to work later. As they were walking into the clinic, there was so many people waiting in the front lobby for their names to be called. So Charlie took Ivy to the reception desk where the lady was and signed Ivy in on the sheet in front of them. The lady told them to take a seat and waited for Ivy's name to be called. As Ivy was sitting there, she kept on looking at Charlie like it was a bad idea from the start to be there. But he ignored it and read a magazine while waiting.
After 10 minutes of waiting, the lady at the front called Ivy's name. Charlie and Ivy walked up to the front to see what was going on.
Reception Desk Lady : Dr. James will see you now. please follow me.
The reception desk lady lead Charlie and Ivy into one of the empty rooms behind the door. Charlie took a seat at the side on the regular chair while Ivy sat on the check up bed.
Reception Desk Lady (*says as putting the patient file in the slot) : please wait here.
Reception Desk Lady : the doctor will be here in a couple minutes.
Ivy : thank you.
The reception desk lady walked out back to her job at the front. Then the Dr. James walked in with the file that he took from the slot. Dr. James took a seat on one of those rolly chairs in front of Ivy.
Dr. James (*says as looking at the file) : your Ivy Manovitz. right ?
Ivy : yes i am.
Dr. James (*asks Charlie) : what seems to be the problem today Charlie ?
Charlie : she's sick and needs a health check up.
Charlie : and please prescribe medications for her while your at it.
Dr. James : alright.
Ivy (*asks Charlie & Dr. James) : you two know each other ?
Dr. James : i'm Charlie and William's doctor here in New York City.
Dr. James : and we both owe each other favors.
Ivy : geez, i wonder what favors are those.
Charlie : i had a serious of food poisoning and Dr. James here cured my sickness.
Charlie : so instead of paying for the hospital fee,
Charlie : i let him eat at our restaurant for the entire year for free.
Ivy (*says to Dr. James) : that's a good deal. don't get use to it.
Dr. James (*giggles & asks) : so lets check you up.
Dr. James pulled out his equipment and check her heartbeat, fever, and levels of her sickness. He recorded them into her medical file and then talked to her.
Dr. James : so after checking the levels of your fever,
Dr. James : it seems like you have caught the flu.
Dr. James : its no big deal but you must take care of your body from here on out.
Dr. James : also, i'm going to be prescribing you two types of medications.
Dr. James : one of them is a fever syrup, it will lower down your fever when its high.
Dr. James : only drink it when you feel a high fever.
Dr. James (*asks Ivy) : you are familiar with Advil right ?
Ivy : yes i am.
Dr. James : even though you can buy Advil anywhere,
Dr. James : i'm still going to prescribe it for you.
Dr. James : so that you have your own version of it and it works.
Ivy : Okay.
Dr. James writes the medications on the prescription paper and handed it to Ivy which Ivy took to look at it.
Dr. James : theirs a pharmacy around the counter where you can get your medications.
Dr. James : Charlie knows where it is so he'll show you.
Dr. James (*asks Charlie) : right Charlie ?
Charlie : sure.
Dr. James (*says to Ivy) : your all set.
Ivy (*says to Dr. James) : thank you Dr. James.
Dr. James : take care now.
Charlie (*says to Dr. James) : thanks again.
Ivy and Charlie walked out of the room and clinic. Charlie walked Ivy to the pharmacy around the corner to get her medications.
