MY INNER BEAST

MARK'S POV

"Haha! Come and get me!" I yelled laughing while running away from Jackson. We were having a mud fight at BamBam's house.

"That's not fair you cheater! You had a head start!" Jackson yelled as he ran after me, but tripped and fell face front. Yugyeom laughed and laid on top of Jackson as he put mud on his hair. I laughed at Jackson's messed up hair and tripped over Bambam who was making a mud angel. We all continued to play and laugh until BamBam's older sister came running outside towards us and pushing us back inside.

She hurriedly pushed us all in the tub and told us to clean ourselves. We quickly dried ourselves as she handed us our extra clothes our parents left us. After we quickly changed BamBam's mom grabbed us and lightly pushed us in the car and made sure we had our seatbelts on.

"Where are we going? I thought we were going to get ice-creams." JB asked tilting his head, curious like the rest of us.

"We are going to Mark's house. There are big bad wolves there and we need to be superheroes." BamBam's dad said. Even though we were young, we still knew about the supernatural world. Our parents didn't really keep it as a secret.

"Are my parents going to be okay?" I asked worriedly.

"Of course sweetie, remember your parents our superheroes also." BamBam's mom said.

"Yeah dude have you forgotten your parents are the leaders." Youngjae said playfully punching me in the shoulder. I smiled and playfully punched him back also. Once we arrived at my house everything seemed normal except the broken windows.

"Now I want all of you to listen to me okay." she said turning towards us as BamBam's dad left already to be a superhero. "I want you all to stay seated in this car until I say it's okay for you to come back. Do you understand?" she said.

"Yes," we all replied as she ran out the car towards my house. As she entered the house I undid my seatbelt as Jackson did the same as me and opened the car door ready to leave.

"Where are you going? She said to stay seated." Jinyoung said confused.

"I'm going to help, it's my house. I need to help too." I said running towards my house followed by a Jackson who replied with a 'me too.'.

As I entered my house Jackson quickly left and ran to help my sister. As I was ready to run I stopped dead in my tracks as I was a white werewolf standing a couple of feet from me. I turned into its direction and walked towards it with my hand held out wanting to touch it soft white fur. The wolf seemed to notice me and growled at me with its red bloody teeth. It ran my direction and jumped to attack me but was stopped mid-air as my daddy jumped and tackled it down.

"Mark!" my mommy screamed running my direction. "What are you doing here!" she yelled worriedly but hugged me with relief. I turned towards my daddy's direction and scream as I saw the wolf bite my daddy's head off. My mommy grabbed and carried me towards my room.

"Mark sweetie look at mommy's eyes," she said wiping the tears off my face. " You know both your daddy and I love you right?" she said as she hugged me. "I need you to do mommy a favor okay? I need you to go into your room and hide until this is all over. Don't go out until one of the superhero's come and get you okay?" she said asking me. I shaked my head not liking her plan.

"What about Jackson and the others? Mommy promise me you'll come back please!" I said crying as I hugged my mother back.

"Jackson and the others will be fine trust me. Remember they have superheroes watching over them. Now please do what mommy said and hide okay." she said pushing me into my room closing the door and leaving. I turned around and opened the door to see my mommy again before I go hide. I scream as I saw the same white wolf on top of her doing the same action it did with my daddy.

"Mommy!" I screamed running her direction to help her, but was grabbed and carried by BamBam's mom the opposite direction.

No please no not again. I scream and fight as I try to open my eyes from replaying the nightmare over and over again. I squirm and try to open my eyes as the nightmare replayed making me feel more guilty.

"Mark! Mark! Wake up its okay. Its just a nightmare, it's not real." I opened my eyes as I stand up quickly. Sweating and heavily breathing as I see a worried CL in front of me.

"Its okay, its not your fault. It was only a nightmare don't blame yourself." she whispered as she hugged me and made me fall back to sleep, surprisingly with no nightmares.

CL POV

I wake up to a sleepy Mark hugging me from behind as confusion filled my mind. I slowly escape his grasp as I remembered last night's events. I woke up to Mark screaming 'Its my fault! I'm sorry! Please forgive me!' and comforted him.

As I walked towards the kitchen for a glass a water I jumped scared in my tracks as I saw Yugyeom already there sitting on the counter.

"Good morning," he said smiling.

" Oh my gosh!" I whispered yelled as I sat next to him so I wouldn't wake the others up.

"Why are you whispering?" he whispered in my ear laughing. I glared at him and slapped the back of his head as I laughed this time. He sarcastically laughed back and poked my sides since he knew I was ticklish there as pay back.

"Yah, stop." I said jumping of the counter as he put his hands up in surrender,

"Okay okay I'll stop," he said, patting where I sat before signaling for me to sit there again. I followed his orders and sat next to him again. " and first of all that hurt." he whined as I rolled my eyes in respond. "Also thank you for taking care of Mark." he said referring to last nights events.

"Oh, no problem. Its fine." I said.

"No really, thank you. We could never get him to wake up from his nightmares and if we did he would have them again as soon as he slept again." he explained.

"Well then I'm honored." I said smiling, as Yugyeom laughed at me.

"Does he get them often?" I asked.

"No, he only gets them when it comes close to the day. But sometimes he gets them on other occasions but that's rarely though." he explained, I nodded understanding.

"Also I'm not going to school today. Well actually none of the guys are since today is the day." he said referring to the anniversary of Mark's parents death.

"Oh its okay." I said knowing the situation. "I'll just tell the teacher you're sick."

"Thanks,"

"Well I have to go so tell the others I said bye and don't forget to lock up." I said as I grabbed a cup of water. "And pray for my soul that I come up with a good excuse before I get home." I said leaving as Yugyeom laughed.



As I reached the door knob to my house it opened by itself revealing both my parents in the other side. I closed the door and silently prayed they weren't mad.

"Min Chaerin where have you been young lady!" My father question mad with a hint of worriedness but mostly worried.

" I'm sorry but I stayed the night at Yugyeom's house and forgot to tell you. I'm truly sorry." I said as I hugged both of them because that was the only thing I could think of.

"Its okay sweetie, just tell us before hand okay." My mom said as I nodded in response.

I head up towards my room so I could clean myself up before school starts. As I entered my room I frozed in my tracks to see my brother and the rest of his friends in my room sleeping. I quietly closed the door and took this as revenge. I grabbed my air horn Suga gave me for Christmas and decided today was the day for its use. I put the air horn between Jimin and Suga since they were the ones who I wanted to annoy the most.

"Fire! Fire!" I screamed as the air horn sang beautifully loud and annoying music. They all quickly got up an ran around the room screaming until they noticed there was no fire anywhere. I fell to the ground laughing as they ran and screamed. I quickly got up as I saw Jimin who looked really pissed but also relieved but mostly pissed as he saw me laughing. I ran towards the bathroom in my room for protection but was quickly grabbed by Hoseok.

"Yes?" I asked innocently. He ignored me and dragged me towards the bed and sat me there as they all surrounded me so I wouldn't leave. I looked at each of there faces but couldn't tell what their emotions were.

"Where were you last night?" Namjoon asked breaking the silence.

" I......was at....Yugyeom's... house..." I said silently, knowing they didn't want me to be with him.

"You were what?" Jimin asked pissed off even more.

"I was at Yugyeom's house." I said with more confidence. They all stayed silent and looked at each other. "Well......if yall are going to stay quiet I might as well leave because I really need to wash up right now." I said standing up trying to walk away but Jungkook grabbed my arm and pushed me back to the bed.

"Ha-ha nice try." he said sarcastically.

Did he just push me?

'It looks like he did indeed.'

"We came up with agreement and decided that we are going to let you go this time just because we were worried about you. " Suga said as they all left. Come up with an agreement? How did they come up with an agreement if all they did was stand in silence?

'They are werewolves too dummy.'

Oh that makes sense. But how come they haven't told me?

'They probably think you're human since you act like one.'

Ha- ha very funny


As I walked home from school I realized that tomorrow is my 13th birthday. I decided that I would tell my parents and brother that I was a werewolf also like them. I smiled at the thought of us hanging and playing together in our wolf form. As I walked past Starbucks, I saw Suga and his friends and decided to hang out with them today since Yugyeom was gone.

"Jungkook!" I screamed, to get his attention and decided to run to them. As I ran towards them Amber told me to stop and warned me that something was following me.

' Someone or something is following you. Stop and act like you're out of breath but don't make it too obvious.'

Okay

I slowly stop and rest my hands on my knees acting like I was out of breath. As I slowly got up making eye contact with Jungkook who looked confused to why I stopped all of a sudden. A needle like object stabbed my right shoulder. I turned my head to see a dart injected into my shoulder, confusion filled my head as I pulled the dart out which caused pain I never felt before. I fell from the pain and see a worried Jungkook with BTS behind him running my direction before I blacked out.

JUNGKOOK POV

"Jungkook!" I turned to somebody screaming my name. I saw CL running towards me and turn to my members and tell them that CL was running towards us. As I turned back around again confusion filled me as I saw CL suddenly stop running.

"What is she doing?" I asked particularly to no one.

"I think she's out of breath." Jin said, answering my question. We turned to her and waited till she reached us but was stopped and worried filled us as V pointed out a mysterious black hooded man on the roof of the opposite building. We turned back towards CL direction and saw her falling down we quickly ran out the building and ran after her.

"CL!" Suga screamed as he picked her up.

" She was injected with wolfs bane." Namjoon said as he examined the dart. We all stared at each other in shock as the black hooded man was now gone.

"What does wolfs bane do to a human?" Jimin asked worried.

" Wolfs bane can harm or worse kill a wolf if not treated urgent but for a human...it's an automatic kill." Namjoon said as we all stayed silent not knowing how to respond.

"I'm going to kill that man no matter what." Suga said sternly
