MY INNER BEAST

MARK POV

Anger boiled inside of me when the wolf transformed into a human, especially one I knew. It wasn't because I knew her but because I thought I was finally close to catching the wolf from 10 years ago. I gripped my hands into fist and let fire radiate off from them raising them up a little.

Yugyeom: 'Mark don't you dare hurt her! We know who she is for crying out loud!'

Yugyeom said to me telepathically already knowing my next moves. I ignored his opinion and threw my arms in CL's direction letting fire shoot out of my fists.

YUGYEOM POV

"No!" I screamed, as I jumped over the line of fire separating us from her and quickly wrapped my arms around her like a hug, hovering over her since I was taller. I used my shield and protected me and CL from the fire Mark blasted.

CL POV

I stood still as I saw Mark's fist radiate fire. I stood still in shock again seeing Yugyeom and knowing he was a vampire. I snapped out of my shocked state as I hear Yugyeom scream and see him in front of me as he protected me. I heard Yugyeom grunt in pain as his shield wasn't strong and stable enough due to the excessive heat hitting against the shield.

"Yugyeom!" I screamed, as I heard him cry out from the fire hitting his back as the shield collapse.

'Due something he could be seriously hurt!'

I wrapped my arms around his waist and flipped us around so the fire was hitting against my back now as I gently put Yugyeom on the ground. I bit my lip and held in the pain as I felt the fire stop.

"Are you crazy Mark! Yugyeom could of almost died because of you!" Bambam shouted as he and Jinyoung held him onto the ground, preventing him from making anymore damage.

"Yugyeom," I muttered remembering he was still in pain and quickly run to his side as the rest followed. I grabbed Yugyeom's arm as JB grabbed the other and helped me get him up.

"What are you doing CL? You're hurt also, you need to get treated." Yugyeom muttered.

"Don't worry about me my body heals by itself. You're the one who needs to get treated." I said. Which is true because since I am an alphada my body heals faster and quicker than an ordinary wolf. So I'm perfectly fine right now while Yugyeom on the other hand is not.

"JB, we need to get Yugyeom treated now and with this speed it's not going to happen. So please trust me and meet me at the cabin." I said, I looked up at JB who nodded and motioned the rest to go. I watched as they ran incredibly fast and made sure Yugyeom was secured around me.

"You ready Yugyeom?" I asked looking up at him.

"I'm always ready." he said smiling. I chuckled and used my teleportation powers and found myself in the living room and slowly laid Yugyeom down on the long table. After successfully putting him down I turned to a knock on the door. I opened the door and was greeted by the rest of the members.

"How did you possibly beat us?" Jackson said shocked.

"Teleportation," I said making a 'duh' face." I need two of yall to turn him over on his stomach." I ordered.Youngjae and Jinyoung quickly did as told and turned him over despite the grunts from Yugyeom. I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut Yugyeom's shirt open revealing his burned and bruised back from the fire.

"Are you sure you can heal him?" JB asked worriedly.

"I'm an alphada, have you forgotten what I can do?" I replied as rolled my sleeves up.

"This is going to hurt a bit." I muttered giving Yugyeom a heads up.

I put my hands on his back as I closed my eyes murmuring a ritual which amber thought me during my training time. I pressured my hands onto his back as Yugyeom screamed a bit. The burned areas calmed down and the redness decreased. The bruises size didn't change but the amount of pain felt did. After I finished the only thing left was redness and small bruises.

After we all settled down I threw Yugyeom a hoodie I left here weeks ago to wear since his shirt was useless. After a few conversations we agreed to keep what happened today a secret. As I headed to the kitchen Mark came and followed me.

"Look I'm sorry for what I did back there." he said.

"Uhm. Its okay. I'm pretty sure you had a reason for it." I said as I smiled a bit.

" I did, but its really complicated-"

"Its okay, you can tell me when you're ready." I said, making him feel more comfortable in the situation.

"Thanks, but I feel like you should know." he said motioning me to sit. " Tomorrow is an important date to all of us. It's the anniversary of the death of our past leaders before us. It is the anniversary of my......parents. They died 10 years ago and I still remember the day clearly. BamBam's mom was taking us back home from our little playdate and we come home to see we were being attacked my wolfs. I saw a wolf I've never seen before and being the naïve kid I was back then I walk towards it. I was stupid I didn't know that, that was the strongest wolf of all time. Standing in glory with its white fur and silver eyes. I saw my parents die in front of my eyes in the mouth of that exact same wolf. All because I wanted to see the stupid wolf.." he explained, which really broke my heart.

"I'm so sorry," I said giving him a hug.
