Next day,

Leaning towards the wardrobe, Lay had the small chits in his hands as he was re-reading the quotations written within. A smile slowly hugged his lips and eyes. He never had such a feeling, an emotion that doesn't let you sleep, and leisurely eats your heart until tear drops start dripping down to your chin. He heard a knock on the door and shoved them inside their envelope. Next moment, the door slid opened.

As soon as Uee closed the door and stared at his face, she started giggling. Then she walked to him and crossed her arms over her chest. "She's gone."

He huffed sadly.

"And you might loose her." She added.

He squinted his eyes harder at the words she just uttered. How? Was the first word that came to his mind.

"Yes. You heard me right. And she is very happy and excited."

"Explain." He demanded.

"That ugly guy she liked, Hongjae, asked her out. If you had came to the kitchen for breakfast, you would have seen a different Remi."

Before she could say more, Lay grabbed her arm. She read the pain he had in his eyes.

"Lust, remember?" She reminded him that it was just the lust that had been their only relationship. He shouldn't have really cared even if Remi goes out with another guy.

He didnt bother replying. Rather an actual tear drop fell down. A sudden thought of completely loosing her to another guy broke him from the inside.

"Lay...??" She had a worried tone this time.

"Remi..." He slopped down into Uee's embrace.

"Tell me, you love her? Is it love you were craving for the whole time. Or...." She pushed him back, hands grasping his biceps. She stared into his eyes.

She demanded an answer that neither Lay nor Remi could answer. The first thought that came to his mind was her figure naked for his own pleasure, all to himself. He knew love is pure and this couldn't be love. Attraction or lust? It was lust and he grew the lust more and more to the level that he could make use of her without her will, if she kept on ignoring his demand.

"I want her, even if she shoves me back, I still want her. Uee I can't wait anymore. I am not as composed as you think, when it comes to Remi." He glared with hot anger in his eyes, this time shaking Uee.

"Are you hard?" She asked.

He stared confused at her question and decided not to answer.

"If its sex you want, you can have it right now. I can imagine, being a guy and still virgin, it doesn't make sense."She smirked.

He retreated back when she leaned forward.

"Why? Are you afraid? Then how are you planning to make Remi happy?"

"I think you didn't hear me right." His back got pinned against the wardrobe. "I want it right now."

She leaned forward to grab his collar.

"With her only." He muttered.

She halted for a second and then drew back, looking at the floor.

"Its nothing like I rejected you." Lay tried to clarify.

"Don't try to make up Lay." While clenching her fists, she tred forward and left the room with a thud.

"I am an idiot!" He kicked the wardrobe.

Later that evening

"Did you enjoy?" Hongjae asked as they were walking back to Remi's home.

"Um." She nodded shyly.

"I love the sky at evening." He looked above with his hands secured into his jeans pocket. "It has all the colors I adore."

"Which color attracts you the most?" She asked, smiling.

He looked back at her and kept his stare at her eyes. Being too shy around him, Remi darted her eyeballs elsewhere. "The color of your eye bags." He smirked.

She frowned and glared back into his eyes. "We are near. You can leave now."

"Remi..." He mumbled softly and grabbed her hands carefully. "I want to confess."

"What?" Her pupils diluted.

"I rejected you because I knew about your past."

She smiled for a second and then her brain replayed all the colors of her past, ugly past. "You w-what?" She narrowed her eyes.

"It doesnt matter who told me about your past ... but.... I thought you won't be able to give me happiness of life."

She rescued her hands from his grip. She sighed and sighed again. Unconcious of where she was, she began walking forward.

"Remi, you have to listen!" He grabbed her by her elbow. Her brain was busy analyzing how unwanted she was, how unappreciated. She didnt know who could she blame, for all this. "But after I broke up, I understood your importance in my life."

Although she was listening, but couldnt comprehend his words.

"I was wrong. I want you to want me like the way you used to, or maybe you still do."

This time her sarcastic expression hit his eyes.

"Don't give me that look." He inclined closer, bending his neck to reach her level. "Be mine, please." He moved closer, ready to kiss her and she never backed off. But before Hongjae could fulfil his task, a large hand thumped into his chest and then he was pushed away with force. He looked up to find a guy his height, blocking his way.

The guy's arm embraced Remi's shoulder. "You can't." The guy uttered to Hongjae. Hongjae glared back.

Remi looked up at him. "Lay?" She humbly muttered with half opened eyes.

"Yes..." Lay replied to her lovingly. "I am here." He leaned in and gave her a quick but sweet kiss. The kiss ended within a second and Remi stared back at Hongjae's almost shocked eyes.

"I think you have your answer." Lay smirked.

Hongjae kept in looking into Remi's eyes. He grinned too. "That wasn't her answer. But since she didnt object, I guess she is fine with it. Good bye Remi." He smiled and waved while leaving.

"Lets leave." Lay still had his arm around her shoulder and he kept it like that while walking back. Remi didn't shove it back and he knew something was wrong.

"Are you mad at me now? I couldn't bear him kissing such an adorable girl. I just saw a photo and damn! He is uglier in real."

Still no response.

He thought a little silence treatment could help her recover the situation but he didn't know the condition was even worse than his imagination.
