Next morning

"Leaving already?" Uee inquired with a pout. Remi hanged her bag over her shoulder, ready to leave, grabbing her coat over the other hand

"I don't want him to see me here. I hope he leaves tonight. His stay is over." She rolled her tired eyes. "And I'll never forgive him for what he did last night!" She pointed out her finger.

"Ok, but won't you like to say goodbye to him?"

"Not after..." She halted and sighed with tensed eyes. "Do me a favour and call me after he's gone."

"You believe he would leave without having a glimpse of you?"

"That would be my revenge for the last night incident." She smirked and left.

Uee huffed and shut closed the door. She headed towards Lay's room but before she could barge in, Lay came out and closed the door to his room.

"She's gone."

"Ok." Lay nodded.

"You know... your tricks always leave my stomach churning, like---." She grinned at him.

"Tricks?" He giggled. "Tricks... I don't play tricks. That was my vengeance, she actually cut my hand with a knife twice if you didn't know."

She stepped closer and bit her lower lip. "OMG, that was the best shot, really."

"Uee...." He sighed with despair. "That wasn't."

"Already afraid? Your prey is not ordinary." Before Lay could speak in his favour, she interrupted. "And don't even dare to shun the word prey, cuz that's what she is for you." She pointed her index finger at him.

He then didn't utter a word in his defence cuz maybe she was right. Remi was a prey, a hard one, who had been giving him a real tough time. And although he expected this, but still it shocked him that Remi was alright with not seeing him for the last time. She didn't care. He was at a lose to ring bells in her heart like she did to him. But hope was still hanging at the edge. One more month and she would definitely be in bed for him. He was sure.

LATER THAT EVENING

Uee greeted Remi as she hurried inside the house.

"Unnie..." Remi smiled widely and then hugged her and squeezed her tight.

"Remi... you gonna kill me girl.!" Uee's cell phone was in her one hand. The fact that Remi didnt know was that Lay was on call, hearing out her views on his departure. "Why are you so excited?"

"I won." Remi uttered swiftly and then drew back, running to her room.

Uee held the cell phone to her ear. "You might get hurt by her words." She told Lay over the phone.

"I am fine. But I really need to know her true feelings for me. Just carry on and dont let her know about this. Go and sit with her... she might tell you something."

"I think you didnt hear her announce her victory. But I'll do it." She slipped down the cell phone from her ear and went inside the room.

She saw Remi taking critical view of her room.

"Remi... atleast you should thank him. He took good care of your room."

"Unnie... he feared me. That's why." She glared at the bed. "I'll change the sheets. I think he changed thrice..... do I have to discard them all?"

"Don't." Uee stood in front of her to block her view. "There's no need." Uee grabbed her hand and led her to sit with her on the bed. "And don't tell me you regret nothing."

"I would have regretted if..." She paused to think of a reason. "Unnie... don't leave tonight for work. Lets eat out."

"Answer me. I know you were attracted." Uee kept on insisting.

Remi's smile was constant but Uee still caught the slight change in her mood. "I am glad he left because maybe you are right." She finally admitted to her. "But I still don't regret."

"WHY!" Uee stood up. "You let him slip away."

"He slipped away himself. He had to leave anyways and if he really wanted me... he could have extended his stay, or could have called me before leaving. He just wanted to use me and I didn't let him. So I won again." Remi stood up as well and folded her arms over her chest.
"What do you say now?"

"If he came back?"

Remi's joyous expressions slopped down just at the thought of it. "I would kill him or kill myself."

"It means he affects you." She leaned. "More than you and I think."

"Lets not talk about him anymore." Remi smiled. "And.... um..... celebrate?"

"I am not really enjoying this.... but since you asked it for the first time.... lets go."

Remi squeezed her again as she ended the call behind her back.

Uee patted her. "Wear something that won't embarrass me."

Remi nodded and parted. Uee looked into her eyes trying to read her mind. The only word she could read was him.

"Remi..." Someone whispered into her ear. She opened her eyes only to find herself in a room prevailed by shadows. A strong grip captured her hands and raised them against the wall.

Doesn't his scent drives you crazy? Uee's words revolved in her mind as the guy leaned closer.

"But...."

"Shhh!" He placed his long index finger over her lips softly. "No but, what, how; just us."

Doesn't his scent drives you crazy? She knew her legs were melting. He lifted up her jaw with his finger and kissed her neck sensually. Her heart screamed out and she was aware of what she wanted. She desired to throw back her head and totally melt away so that he could mould her into shapes he desired. And his needs could become her needs.

"Remi... I wont forgive you." His drunken eyes leered at her. "But don't you think you won." He inclined closer and kissed her lips.

"Remi?" Uee shook her in her sleep but she was still restlessly mumbling with closed eyes.

"You ok?" Uee asked. She shook her arm again and she started screaming.

"Don't touch me!" Remi shrieked as she opened her eyes and pushed away Uee harshly.

"Remi!!!!" Uee shouted. "What are you doing??!!! I'll leave."

"Unnie....." Remi came back to senses and grabbed her arm. "Sorry...." She paused. She hated the fact that sleep only brings nightmares to her, leading to insomnia to escape them. "Don't leave." Her weaping eyes demanded.

"I am not sleeping in your room willingly. I am going back to my room."

"Just this night. I still feel his presence." Remi revolved her eyes and keenly observed every section of the room, knowing that his hands were all over. She shut closed her eyes and grasped the sheet tightly.

Uee smiled helplessly. "Fine. Sleep now."
