“Kang Laichia!” The MC says into the microphone and my best friend stares at her feet. “I don’t actually want to go up there. Mira, jebal, jebal go up for me?” I sigh. Her scaredy cat self and her changing mind. I raise my hand in the middle of all the fans that had been looking around. “Here!” One of the security guards comes towards me and escorts me up to the large stage.
“Kang Laichia won our draw, so she gets to spend a fun night with Exo-K!” I smile and face the members even though I knew Laichia must be jealous. I’m going to rub this in her face later to get her to toughen up and be able to do things. Handing each of the members the present that I’d made for each of them, I’m suddenly enveloped in a hug, breathing in some kind of intoxicating cologne. Looking up, I find Kai with his eyes shut tight and suddenly I’m surrounded by the rest of Exo-K, all six boys giving me a group hug.
The fans go wild and I hear insults as well as screams of terror. I see someone from the side of the stage beckoning us and I’m ushered in front of them backstage. Some person comes up to me and tells me that while the boys get dressed I should look through a contract that restricts some things that I would do. Nodding, I go find a empty hallway and slide down the wall, flipping through the multiple pages. My photographic memory sucking up the contract like it was a sponge, I quickly put Laichia’s signature on the line and put the date, setting it beside me as I leaned my head back.
Laichia had wanted to come to this concert and dragged me along because she wouldn’t come by herself, causing me this humongous headache. My phone vibrates and I see Laichia’s name on the display. Ignoring it, I turn off my phone, knowing that she’ll call me nonstop and text me until I reply. Wiping the sweat from my forehead that I’d accumulated from standing in that mass of bodies, I take a deep breath.
