Do I Let You Go?

A Slowly Breaking Heart

~Jungkook~
Getting to school, I go to the gym, looking for the boys. Instead, I find a girl breathing hard on the floor, a soccer ball next to her. Curious, I sit down on a bench and hear J-Hope call from underneath the balcony "Hae Ja ah!" She slowly sits up, looking at the boys that had walked in and who were all sitting down around her. "Gwenchana? Is it too hard?" She buries her head in her arms and shakes it. "Why are you guys here? Kookie's probably looking for you right now." The boys sigh and get up, it was clear that she didn't want to talk. "Well, call any of us if it gets too hard, okay?" V pats her back and Suga calls "Come to class soon!" They leave and in a matter of seconds, the girl jumps to her feet, kicking the soccer ball so hard that when it hits the wall, it flies into the air, landing on the other side of the gym. Getting up, I go to class and sit down in my seat, wondering why the boys had left the seat to my right open. The door slides open and the girl stands there, staring at the empty seat next to me. Rap mons quickly sits down next to me, and she sits down in his now empty seat next to V and Jimin. A few of the girls from class come up and ask "Is it true that you can't remember Hae Ja?" I pause, realizing that they were talking about the girl from my hospital room. I shake my head and see Jimin hug the girl out of the corner of my eye. "Daebak, now we actually have a chance!" The girls whisper to each other as they go back to their seats. The teacher comes in and the lesson starts. At lunch, the classroom is crowded with girls who ask me over and over again if I don't remember Hae Ja. Every time, I say no and they all squeal in excitement.
~Hae Ja~
Every time Kookie says that he doesn't remember, I feel my heart slowly breaking. I could imagine the cracks appearing like glass across my heart and I knew that soon my heart would be completely shattered. V had put headphones on me so I couldn't hear Kookie saying that he didn't remember, but I could read his lips and see him shaking his head, and that broke my heart. The boys tried to get me to eat, but I couldn't. I couldn't eat anything, and I knew that even if I did, I'd probably throw it up later. I'd realized that if I let my emotions take over my body, my heart would feel like it was being crushed, so I locked my emotions in my heart, knowing that when my heart was broken completely, I'd let it all out. When school let out, I was cornered by Kimi, a upperclassman that had the hots for Jungkook, but was always ignored because of her personality. "You're lucky that he can't remember you, because now you won't get beat up. Now I'm going to make him mine." She twirls a necklace around her finger and I looked just like mine, except it had less details, which meant that she'd had someone make a fake necklace to get Jungkook to like her. Ignoring her, I push past her and grab my bag and skateboard from the classroom. Skateboarding past the boys, I ignore them calling my name and suddenly a car pulls into the front gate, almost hitting me if I hadn't jumped and landed on the hood of the car. "What the hell! Are you trying to kill someone?" I yell at the surprised driver and climb to the back of the car, grabbing my skateboard that had rolled underneath it. A car door opens and a couple people step out, "We're sorr-" They stop and duck their heads into the car, probably thinking that they were looking at my underwear. "Relax, I'm wearing sweatpants." I sigh and jump down to the concrete. They come back out and I feel something crash into my side. "Hae Ja Hae Ja, gwenchana? Are you hurt anywhere?" I see the boys come over, Jungkook reluctantly following them. "Uh, I'm fine. Bye guys." I slip out of J-Hope's hug and get away from the place as fast as I can. Putting in my earbuds, I listen to the boys' songs, singing along quietly. Getting to oppa's cafe, I go straight to the billboard, looking for any challenges. "Ya, since when did you start fighting again? I thought you promised Jungkook not to!" Oppa calls from the cashier and I ignore him, tearing one of the challenges down and calling the number.
Going to the parking lot that had been specified, I sit on the fence, waiting for my challenger to arrive. After some minutes, a heavy looking girl comes up to me with a couple skinny minions. "Are you Hae Ja?" I nod. "Can we just start beating each other?" I ask and they grin.
~Jungkook~
We were all crammed into a taxi, because our manager had forgotten about us. As we were passing a parking lot, I hear Jin yell "Stop, stop!" The taxi lurches to a stop and we all groan. Jin reaches across me and opens the door and pushes me and Suga out. He climbs over us and the others get out after paying the fare. Sitting up, I look around and wonder why Jin had made us get out here. "I told you I was worried about what she might do after this." Jin hisses to Rap mons and the others are suddenly on their feet, going over to Rap mons. Are they talking about that Hae Jae girl again? I sigh and get to my feet. "Now that he can't remember, did you think that she wouldn't go and let her anger out on this? Hyung just called me and told me she grabbed a challenge off of the board." I'm curious on what they meant when Jimin suddenly runs off to our right. We quickly follow him and he stops in the entrance to a parking lot. We look at what he's looking at us and stand there frozen. The girl, Hae Ja stood in the middle of the parking lot, head tilted back, looking at the sky. She was holding a bloodstained metal pipe, there was blood on her clothes and three girls that had been beaten up were on the ground. Hae Ja starts laughing and I step back as J-Hope and V bolt forward. They each grab one of her arms and drags her back, making her drop the metal pipe. "Let me fight!" She screams, trying to get out of their grip. "If you fight anymore, they'll die!" Jimin shakes her shoulders as she gets dragged over to me, Suga and Rap mons on the sidewalk. "She's not calming down!" J-Hope hisses and Jimin grabs her head, turning it to face me. I flinch, looking into her empty gaze. It seemed there was only pain in her eyes. As soon as she sees me, the empty gaze fades, replaced with sad eyes. She stops moving and they let her go. "Mian," She mumbles and limps down the sidewalk. I was getting seriously confused, why did she calm down as soon as she saw me? What was I to her, that makes her like this, knowing that I can't remember her?
