Job

~Eun Hae~
A year later, I'm sitting at my desk in the Violent Crimes Unit of the Seoul Precinct, waiting for a back up call to come in. Instead, Ki Tae, one of the kids in my team runs in and straight to my desk with an excited face. He's about to speak when I hold up my hand, putting away the file that I'd been working on. "What?" "The police chief is allowing a MV to be filmed in the precinct!" Staring at him, I then hiss "Is he crazy?" "The music group is going to arrive in an hour, let's get ourselves freshened up!" Mi Cha, another one of the kids in my team comes up, dragging me out of my chair and into the locker room. I just give in and take a shower, changing into my extra pair of clothes. (Leaving my hair down)

A few of the younger detectives stare at me with no shame when I go back to my desk, grabbing my lanyard and slipping it on. I hear a loud clatter and look to see the new kid, Min-ki with the reports scattered all over the floor. "Ya! Those are important, pick them all up and sort them!" I jump up and yell at him, causing him to go on his knees immediately and picking up the papers. A person slowly walks to him and I notice it's a spirit. Shaking my head, I ignore it, remembering my promise, but right now I had the job to keep these kids from screwing up. "Mi Cha!" I call and she runs out of the locker room, drying her hair. "Help this kid organize these papers that he just dropped." She looks at him and shouts "Ya! Why'd you have to drop all of the reports!" Sitting back down, I hear the static of the radio and hear "Chaser, Chaser! Outbreak of disturbing the peace!" A static filled location is told and I answer it "Roger." "Ya! Put those reports on your desk, do them later! Let's go!" I yell loud enough for the whole office to hear and I grab my phone, holster and keys. "Hurry up!" I yell as I run out of the precinct, shoving through a large group of people to the van and turning it on. The kids pile in and I screech out of the parking lot.

We arrived at the Seoul Precinct on time and all get out of the van stretching. We follow our manager into the building and as we step in, we hear someone yelling. It was a very familiar voice, but I couldn't place it. "Ya! Put those reports on your desk, do them later! Let's go!" A woman yells and we see her speed walking towards the door that we were all blocking. "Hurry up!" She yells and I realize who's voice it is. It's Eun Hae. She doesn't even notice us as she shoves through us running out of the precinct with younger detectives following her. "Wait, was that-" L asks uncertainly and we all seem to be thinking the same thing. We haven't seen Eun Hae for three years, we'd gone to Taiwan for a week to do promotions, and when we got back, she wasn't coming to school. Everyone knew, but didn't want to talk about it. After graduation, we got really busy, so we couldn't go look for her. After three years, we find her yelling at kids that probably just graduated from the police academy. A man comes up to us, introducing himself as the Head Detective. "Who was that?" Dongwoo asks, wanting to confirm it. "That was Detective Eun Hae. You said that wanted a female detective in your video, would you like her to do it?" We all look at each other and nod. "But could you please tell us about her first?" We follow him into a big office and sit down in the chairs. "From what I know, before this, she was in the hospital for two years and graduated from the police academy in only half a year." Hospital? "She became the team leader after two weeks, which is no easy fate, but is in charge of the troublesome new recruits, that's why she was yelling when you guys came in." "Why was she in the hospital?" Woohyun asks and the police chief glances at the door, scared of something. "I think it was because she was in a coma. Our Police Chief set down her file for a few seconds and I glanced at it. Please don't tell her." The door bursts open and we all turn to see Eun Hae with a guy in a headlock, a black shoe mark on the door from her kicking it open. "Why is it always your cousin that gets caught, but never the bastards he hangs with?!" She barks and the Head Detective flinches. Eun Hae stands there with the guy in a headlock still, ignoring us. "I'm in a meeting Eun Hae shi." He cowers a little. "Don't give me that bullshit. Where's that shi coming from? You always talk to me informally, so I'm doing just that to you. You better get this bastard to say something about his friends of I'm going to make you close your eyes as I do something else to make him talk!" She shoves the guy into the chair by the door, handcuffing him to the armrest and slamming the door closed behind her as she walks out. The Head Detective takes a deep breath, holding his heart. "She's known for decking a grown man in seconds, knocking him out. When she's mad, she can get like that. I'm sorry, but give me a second." He goes over to his cousin who's eyes are unfocused. "How'd you get caught this time? You're seriously not going to tell us? You know how ferocious Detective Eun Hae is, right? Do you want to get it beat out of you again?" L is holding in his laughter and I was too. "Excuse me, Head Detective, we'd like her to be the detective in our MV." Sungyeol tells him and he looks at us, "Are you sure?" "Deh."

Notes
