Gratefulness~ pt.3

"Shh", I hear someone whispering.
"Hush hush!" Someone steps on my mattress because I feel it sinking.
"Gyo Mi-Ok!" someone whispers loudly and I can hear a silent laughter. However, I manage to fall asleep again and I wake up when the alarm rings.
"Omo", somebody gasps as I move to put the alarm off. I hesitate for a moment. Where am I again? I turn on my side and see three faces staring at me. Curious eyes are looking at me and holding their breath. I'm staring at the strange girls and the room. Oh yeah, the dorm.

"Ah!" the girl with red hair exclaims and lifts her forefinger as she realizes something.
"Annyeong haseyo!" she bows at me. The girl is very pretty and tall and her hair is so shiny and beautiful that I can't help being envious.
"Hi!" the two other girls say out loud and smile friendly. Their hairs are naturally black. One of them has a bob haircut and the other one's hair is mid-length. The girls are still in their pajamas but the red head is carrying books in her hands. I still have the same clothes I wore to the flight. I get up quickly.
"Annyeong haseyo", I greet in Korean and bow.
"Oh", they admire my manners.
"You are the Finnish girl?" the red head asks. I nod.
"My name is Park Narelle", the cute girl with bob haircut introduces herself.
"Narelle?" I notice the exceptional name she has.
"Ne", she nods proudly.
"I lived in Australia but me and my family moved back in Korea when I was very young." Her English sounds so cute.
"Ah, okay", I smile kindly.
"I'm Gyo Mi-Ok!" the girl with the gorgeous shiny hair offers me her hand.
"And she is Ariel Wang. She is Chinese. She can't even speak good Korean, so she can't speak English", Mi-Ok tells me and I nod at the shy girl in the corner. I already know that I won't be talking much with her.

A delivery boy brings us food at the door and Gyo Mi-Ok sets the table for us. She seems to be a very happy and brisk girl. The dorm looks a bit sad and poor comparing to my own home and especially to the hotel rooms I already got used to. But it doesn't need to be so fancy anyway. I'm not going to live here for the rest of my life.
We sit down to eat. I don't see anyone else, so I conclude that these three are supposed to be my roommates. Park Narelle, Gyo Mi-Ok and Ariel Wang. One of Australian origin, one Korean and one Chinese and then me, in my very own category. This is going to be interesting.
"I've seen you in magazines", Park Narelle smiles mysteriously as she stuffs her cheeks with meat. I sneer akwardly.
"Do you really know G-Dragon that well?" she takes a break from eating and stares at me.
"We have talked a couple of times..." I try to keep a low profile. I'm not going to tell them anything about me and Ji.
"Oh. The rumours", Gyo Mi-Ok snorts. "They are never real."
"How old are you?" Narelle changes the subject, fortunately, because if I had done it I would have gotten caught.
"I'm nineteen", I smile and taste the strange food which is actually good in its own way. The Chinese girl tries to keep up with our conversations without saying a word.
"Aigoo! You are older than us", Mi-Ok states. "I'm seventeen, Narelle is seventeen too and Ariel is fourteen. She has only been here for two months", Gyo Mi-Ok tells me again on behalf of the shy girl. She's so young...
"Ah! Min-ho!" Mi-Ok throws her hands in the air suddenly. "It's Min-ho's food time!" the girl rushes into one of the rooms and Narelle laughs at my stunned expression.
"I guess we have to speak English now."
"I'm trying to learn Korean too! But it's hard", I say and utter a laughter.
"I know! I heard that it's one of the hardest languages for you, foreigners."
It's good that they can speak pretty good English, although at some words I have to think twice what they mean. Maybe YG wanted me to live with them.
"Are you allergic?" Mi-Ok comes smiling back to the room carrying a furry creature.
"Oow! What a cute cat!" I exclaim adoringly and go to pet the brown fur ball immediately.
"His name is Min-ho, like the actor. I have another cat home. Woo Bin. I could only take one here."
"Aaw!" Min-ho purrs under my hand. I believe that I'm going to enjoy myself here. The roommates are fun and then there's this cute cat too. I like it!

I'm fumbling my way past all the doors and trying to find Yang Hyun-suk's office. I notice a familiar-looking caramel-coloured hair zipping behind the corner and I run to catch the woman.
"Cecily!" I grab her shoulder. She's looking as gorgeous as before, altough she's wearing a casual outfit this time. I should update my blog, I think by myself.
"Minea-ah! Woah, so nice to see you!" she smiles and hugs me instantly. "Welcome to Seoul!"
"Thank you!" I laugh happily as I finally see someone I already know. I feel myself a bit more safe again even though I'm far away from home.
"Can you help me?"
"Yes! What is it?" Cecily takes my arm like I was in a bigger trouble.
"Where's YG's office?"
"Ah!" she takes her hand back.
"Here! Follow me!" And I follow Cecily to the elevator and there stands a sign with the highest number on it saying 'CEO'. It wasn't that hard to find after all.
"Oh, komawo!" I bow at my helper.
"Nice to see you here! We have to go to party sometime!"
"Yeah, for sure!" I smile and take a look at my watch.
"But now I have to go! See you!"
"See you", Cecily smiles back.

There's also Taeyang sitting inside the office as I notice him first.
"Hello, Mineea. Sit down", YG asks. His black cap is disturbing me.
"Annyeong", I greet Tae who smiles happily. I wonder why he's here too but somehow nothing surprises me anymore. There has been so many big changes in my life lately.
"Your trainee life starts tomorrow. You still have the schedules?" Hyun-suk asks and I nod as an answer.
"Ne!"
"We have a special dance teacher today and you're gonna join her class."
I keep nodding. I'll do whatever I'm told to. Taeyang lifts his leg on the other's knee, waiting for the answer for his question what am I doing here. YG turns to the computer and adds:
"Young Bae, you go with her."
"Me?" Tae slams his palm against his chest.
"It's for trainees?" he shouts astonished.
"Yes", YG answers calmly and turns back to us.
"It's Mineha's first class and you are going to support her. Show her places here."
"But..."
"I looked for it and you have nothing else to do today."
"Okay", Taeyang gives in since he know's there's no use to argue with YG. He gives me a quick smile.
"What dance style?"
"Latin", Hyun-suk says negligently and turns around to look for some papers.
"Latin??! Wae!!" Taeyang gets shocked.
"Wae, wae, wae... You can't dance?" YG glances under his eyebrows.
"Of course..." Tae mutters something in Korean and I try to hold back my laughter. This is going to be so much fun. I have already fallen in love with these people around me.
