The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

Yano POV

I was sleeping comfortably on the floor with Hojoon hyung, next to Iris who was sleeping on hyung’s bed, when the alarm clock went off. I sat up and shook Hojoon hyung.

“Hyung. It’s time. We gotta go.” I whispered.

Hojoon hyung got up and looked at the cock. It was 5:30. It is going to take us a few hours to get to the shack so we wanted to get up early.

“You go get breakfast ready so we can leave. I will wake Iris.” Hojoon hyung said.

“Sure hyung.”

I got up and made my way to the kitchen. I made sandwiches for us to eat during the drive. As I was putting them into the lunchbox, Hojoon hyung came out of his room.

“Are you ready?’ Hyung asked me.

“My mind is ready but my heart isn’t.”

“Same here. I know that we have no choice other than this but I don’t want to do it. It puts Iris’s safety in someone else's hands. I want to be able to help, but I can’t because we are no where near as strong as Youngmin hyung and his friends.” Hyung had a sad face as he said this.

“Hyung, we will be helping. If we weren't going, Iris would be there hiding alone. She would probably feel really lonely and scared. With us going, she will feel safe.” I explained. “Come on hyung, cheer up. Just think about it all being over after today.”

“You’re right. Let’s get this over with. I don’t want to think about this anymore.” Hyung said, grabbing the lunchbox and heading towards the door.


Once hyung left, Iris came into the kitchen. She was wearing sweatpants and a baggy sweatshirt, and her hair was a mess.

“Sit down noona, your hair is a mess.” I said, and pulled out a chair.

Noona sat down and I went and got her hairbrush from the bathroom. I returned and started brushing her hair.

“Noona, It’s time to go. Hojoon hyung is in the truck waiting.” I said, handing her a sweater. “I will be right out. I have to tell the other hyung that we are leaving.”

Iris noona took the sweater and headed to the door. I waiting until she was gone to push the chair back under the table and head to P-Goon hyung and Jenissi hyung’s room. I opened the door and saw them sleeping. I walked over to the desk and wrote them a note.

‘Hyungs. Hojoon hyung, Iris noona, and I have left already. We will be back later. Don’t call. ~ Yano’

I took the note and stuck it to their door so they would see it when they wake up. I looked back at them before leaving the room. Heading out to the truck, I could see Hojoon hyung and Iris noona the the cab of the truck.

‘This is it. We are really going to end her suffering today.’
