The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

Hojoon P.O.V.

I woke up the next day to Xero shaking me.

“HYUNG! WAKE UP! HYUNG!” Xero yelled as he shook me.

“YA! Xero stop, calm down!” I groggily responded.

“Sorry hyung, but you were screaming and kicking before I woke up. Are you ok? Did you have a nightmare? Was it about Iris?” Xero bombed me with questions.

Then I saw A-Tom walk in. “Hyung, get dressed. We are going to see if we can check in on Iris.”

“OK, give me five minutes.” I responded, still half asleep.

During those five minutes I was getting ready, so many things flew through my head. Things like: is Iris ok, did sasaengs find her, are there reporters at her apartment, have they bugged her? It all went through my head. When I went out to the living room in the dorm, I saw the rest of the members looking at me with worried expressions. I could tell that they are just as worried as I am.

We all left the dorm and went to our vans. B-Joo sat beside me and tried to comfort me.

“Don’t worry hyung, she will be fine. Her building has good security. The reporters wouldn’t have been able to get in. Plus they don’t go as far as breaking in, though they will probably be waiting outside.” B-Joo said softly as he tried to reassure me.

“It’s not the reporters that I am worried about, it’s the sasaengs. We haven’t had to deal with them but the stories of them from other groups worry me. I am really scared that they got to her.” I responded with a distressed tone in my voice.

“Don’t worry too much. It hasn’t even been a full day since the article was released. If there were any sasaengs, there wouldn’t have been many." Jenissi hyung added from the passenger seat.

"He's right hyung, so don't worry." Kidoh piped up from behind us.

When we got to her apartment we saw around fifteen reporters and a large mob of fans. The fans recognized our vans immediately and started to rush over. The reporters noticed the fans rushing over and they started either taking pictures of the vans or recording the scene.

“This isn’t good hyungs.” Yano added from the back seat. “We may have made it worse.”

‘Yano was right, we shouldn’t have come this early after the article came out. We should have just phoned her, that would have been better. Why could we think of that before we left.’ I thought as we drove past the fans and up to the entrance to the building.

The security guy let us through the gates easily because he knew we were close with Iris. When we got out of the van and entered the building, the security guys told us to protect her and to be more careful from now on. They knew that we weren’t dating and they don’t tell anyone when we come or go. We have trusted them for a while.

When we got up to Iris’s apartment door, we saw that it was opened slightly. There were also some scratches visible where the lock is. As soon as we saw them, we all panicked. I rushed in and almost collapsed from the sight in front of me.

The living room was trashed and Iris was lying on the floor. As I got closer to her, I saw bruises all over the exposed parts of her arms and legs. I went over to her and kneeled down with tears in my eyes. I gently called her name. At this point, the other members had entered and saw the state that the room was in.

Jenissi hyung walked up and kneeled down next to me. I had Iris’s head on my lap and tears streaming down my face. Jenissi hyung put his hand under Iris’s nose to make sure she was still breaking. Thankfully she was. He looked over to P-Goon hyung and B-Joo , then nodded. B-Joo went to the kitchen to call our manager and P-Goon hyung went to call the police.

When the police arrived, Jenissi hyung and P-Goon hyung stayed back to explain what happened. Iris was loaded onto a stretcher. Yano and I climbed into the ambulance with her. Our managers drove the rest of the members to the hospital.
