Seriously Heart?

I finally gave in. I have a crush on Chanyeol. I know it’s terrible, but I obviously can’t stop these feelings. But, I am not going to act on them. I’m not going to confess, because I know everything will break apart, even if he does feel the same way, though he doesn’t. I’m not going to ignore him, and be a jerk to him, because that doesn’t work. I don’t know why people in books always try to do that to stop their feelings. We all know that’s not going to work. I’m just going to be his friend, just like before. Nothing more than that. Nothing more.

At work, Abby brought in a man who was dressed in a suit.

“Claire, this is the director of the drama that I told you about.” Abby says.

“Nice to meet you.” I bow.

He just smiles.

“He’s come to talk to you for a minute, alone. I’ll be out in the hall when you’re done.” Abby says, walking out.

“Here, have a seat.” I offer, sitting myself in a vacant chair.

“Thank you.” he takes a seat, “Well, I have seen the music video that you did with EXO and I am really impressed with your acting abilities. How much acting have you done in your life?”

“Well, when I was younger, I would take part in plays, and I even played as a main character in high school.”

“Really? That’s impressive.”

I laugh, “Well, not really, the school I went to was quite small.”

“Anyways, I was wondering if you would like to be in the drama, obviously Abby has already told you about that.”

“Sure I’d love too!” I exclaimed.

“Great! We have chosen a few other artists to try out as well, for the main part. Come to room 689, on the sixth floor. After dinner, at seven o’clock.”

“Awesome! Is there anything I need to prepare or bring?”

“Nope, just bring yourself.” he stands up and we walk to the door. I shake his hand and he walks out.

As soon as he walks out the door, I start jumping around doing a little ‘happy dance’.

“What happened?” Abby questions, standing in the doorway.

“I’M MOST LIKELY GOING TO BE IN THE DRAMA!!!” I say, and continue to jump around.

“Really?!”

“Yes! I have to be in room 689 at seven o’clock.”

Abby and I continue jumping around.

Seven o’clock came way slow. I tapped my fingers at dinner to try and get the clock to go a bit faster. But of course, it stayed the same.

I ate alone, I’m not sure where EXO is, but they aren’t here. That meant I can’t tell them the news until tomorrow. I really wanted to tell them now. But, whatever.

Finally, seven came. I made my way to the elevator, and pressed the button for the sixth.

After searching around the sixth floor for a few minutes I finally found room 689.

Inside were a four girls (BoA, Luna of f(x), Yoona of SNSD, and Sunday from The Grace) waiting to be instructed. To be more specific, waiting for me.

“Great, Claire you are here!” the man from earlier came over to me and shook my hand. He is now wearing a nametag ‘Director Lee’, cool.

“Yep,” I say.

“Okay girls,” Director Lee says, walking back to his next, “I am going to pair you up with one of the guys who are trying for the main male part. You will practice a scene together for five minutes and perform them in front of me. You will switch partners and do that again. We will do that until everyone has a chance to be with one another.”

“Will we be able to have scripts in hand?” Yoona asks.

“Of course. Any other questions?”

No one answered.

“Great! Now the boys should already be waiting.” Director Lee stated, “Yoona, room 680. Sunday, room 681. Luna, room 682. BoA, room 683, and Claire room 684. Move out!”

We all headed toward the door, and on the way out grabbed a script.

I found my assigned room and walked in. Key, from SHINee, sat in one of the two empty chairs in the room, he held his script in hand.

He looked up when I closed the door, “Hey! Claire, right?”

I nod and say hello.

We work for the five minutes, and he makes quite a few jokes, that took about half of our time. Finally, Director Lee came in and told us to follow him.

The others stood in the hall. Chanyeol, stood among them. My heart beat sped up. ‘Crap’. It’s the first time I have seen him since I accepted my feelings.

I smile at him, hoping to seem normal.

We acted out the scene as best we could and read the scripts with attitude.

Afterward, we switched partners and now I’m with Ryeowook of Super Junior.

We had a different scene. It was a little easier to concentrate. And we performed.

I was next matched up with Max Changnim of TVXQ, then Henry of Super Junior-M, and finally Chanyeol.

If I couldn’t concentrate earlier, it was nothing compared to now. I couldn’t help but stare at his concentrated face for a few seconds before I came back to earth. This was the most concentrated I have him. And it kind of looks attractive?

I finally got myself to concentrate and we performed. It was the easiest and funnest scene. I think we did well.

They posted the cast list everywhere. I even got an email telling me. But I panicked when I saw it.

MAIN MAN: Chanyeol
MAIN WOMAN: Claire

The names weren’t actually MAIN MAN, and MAIN WOMAN but I didn’t even pay attention to the names. I knew what they meant. The lovers. This couldn’t be happening. How was I going to get over these childish feelings? HOW?!

I couldn’t help but think that there might be skinship involved. I couldn’t help but smile at that.

‘No! Stop Claire! Even if their was skinship, this is just a drama. No real feelings. This is just a drama and nothing more.’

Notes

I feel like I need a "DUN DUN DUN" to the end of this chapter. I'm pretty sure I'm crazy though so never mind.
Honestly, I didn't have any idea what the main characters in the drama should be named. Any ideas?
