Seriously Heart?

“Who are you?”

My heart stopped and everyone was silent.

“I asked you a question.” Chanyeol said looking very confused.

“You don’t remember me?”

“Should I?” he searched the faces of his members looking for an answer.

“Yes Chanyeol, she’s your girlfriend.” Lay said.

“Girlfriend? Since when?”

“Since six months ago.” Xiumin whispered.

“I’m not stupid enough to get a girlfriend,” he turned to me, “no offense, but the fans would hate me.”

“Chanyeol, why do you think you are in the hospital?” Suho asks.

“I fell on stage, while performing ‘Growl’.” he looked at us strangely. “You remember that right?”

“That was last year.” Baekhyun mumbled.

I put my face in my hands and silently cried. Chanyeol didn’t remember me, not one bit.

Chanyeol laughed, “Yeah whatever man, my head hurts, so all of you get out.”

Everyone left, I stood in the room for a second longer. “I know you don’t remember me but, please do. Please remember me, Chanyeol.”

I start to walk out.

“Wait, tell me about… us.”

I walked back to the chair and sat on it. “We met two years ago, only at a fan signing event in America though.”

“That’s where I have seen you!”

Smile softly as a memory clouds my mind.

“Okay where have I seen you? You look so familiar and it’s driving me insane!”

“Um- last year when you came to America I went to your concert and got to go to the meet n’ greet.” I say, “But I don’t know if that’s it.”

“That’s where I have seen you!” he exclaims.

“I didn’t think you would remember me.” I laugh.

“Tell me more.”

“The first time we officially met was eight months ago, three weeks before my debut. I did a single with all twelve of you, and we went on a mini tour together. We played in the snow, once.” I smiled at the memory, “I think those are the times when I really started getting feelings for you.” I looked at him, and he smiled. “Then we were in a drama together and that’s where we learned of each others feelings. We’ve been secretly dating for the past six months. Until recently, the fans figured it out. I can show you a video of us that the fans took, if you want.” I sighed, “We both got attacked last night by fans.”

“That’s why I’m here?”

“Yeah,” I tried to smile, but failed, “I don’t know what they did to you, we weren’t together when it happened.”

“Oh,” he paused, “I think I want to see the video of us.”

“I’ll see if I can pull it up.” I look up it up in the search engine, and it’s the first thing up. I clicked on it and handed the phone to Chanyeol, I didn’t want to watch it again. I just watched Chanyeol’s reaction.

“We looked happy.” he said when the video was done.

“We were.” a few silent tears went down my cheeks and I wiped them away fast.

We were silent, “Well, I better let you get some sleep.”

“Yeah,” he handed me my phone. “Thanks for telling me.”

I smiled, “Bye Chanyeol. Oh and not to freak you out or anything, but I love you. Please remember me.”

“I’ll try.” Chanyeol laughed slightly before I closed the door behind me.

“Try hard.” I whispered.
