Paradise

-So … ?
-It’s finally ours!!!! He said with a wide smile and a loud tone, showing me the key.
I took the key and jumped in his arms, I couldn’t maintain my happiness at that moment, after two years of marriage we finally bought a house… A house where we can live happily ever after.
-But… What’s up with the old lady? I took a step back looking at the previous owner slowly walking through the garden’s alley.
-She’s lived in here for 10 years, it must be hard for her to leave.
-I’m not talking about that, the way she looked at you before and her continuous questions seemed suspicious, ‘How old are you?’ ‘Are you two married?’ ‘Do you have kids?’, I said mimicking her voice.
-Do you know how cute you are when you’re jealous?! He said pinching my cheeks.
-Shouldn’t I? It looked like she was seducing you! Women this days are dangerous, especially the lonely ones!
-But the only one for me is you, no one can have my heart except you…
-I know, I said before his lips touched mine.

Kim MyungSoo, my husband, we met five years ago, we were part-timers in the same coffee shop next to my college. He was a cold city guy, a handsome face with a rotten personality, and I was a clumsy college student, not very sociable nor friendly. We were both busy chasing our dreams; he dreamt of becoming a photographer and I wanted to become a designer.
We didn’t get along at first, but as we got to know each other, we learnt how to be understanding, considerable and caring. When there was no one for me to lean on, he was there and vice versa. He became a part of my life and I became a part of his. Our love changed us and helped us to grow up.
Together we overcame many difficulties until things started going the right way; He started to be acknowledged as photographer since his first photobook was a huge success. I found a good job right away after graduation. We used a great part of our saving to buy this house, my dream house.

- Now you can do whatever you want, to turn this old woody thing into a beautiful home, OUR HOME…
- It’s a miracle we got such a prodigious place at a low price, don’t you think so? It has a great history, I heard that the owner changed many times in the last 50 years and only wealthy families and noble men lived in here! I said while running my fingers on the woody wall of the living room
- You’re repeating this story for the tenth time today! I though you hated memorizing historical events...
- I’m just so excited! I can’t believe that I’m a step closer to realizing my dream! Once I finish fixing and redecorating this house we can do whatever we want, and since we have a big garden you can adopt a dog if you want to.
- What about a baby? Can’t we have a baby after the house is ready? He asked with a sly smile.
- Just one? I though you wanted to have two daughters and two sons! I giggled to him.
- I would love to! He said while holding my hands and kissing my forehead.
