EXO: Don't Forget

"Can someone explain to what the hell is going on?" Chen said.
The members looked at one another then at us, puzzled. Suho had taken me back to the dorms with along with the other members, leaving Kris to explain what was going on to Kai.
"Hyung!" Sehun viciously snapped and all attention reverted to him. "What the hell is going on?" His arms were crossed and he impatiently waited for his answer.
"Kai," Suho’s voice was filled with guilt and agony, "Kai has amnesia."
The maknae stood there in disbelief. “y-you’re joking right?”
A heavy silence filled the room. The longer it was the more awkward it became.
"No. He’s not joking." I blankly stared into space. The last thing i wanted to do was talk, especially about this subject. Sehun was waiting for a more detailed explanation but I couldn’t help but to leave the living room and go straight to kai’s room. His room still lingered with his scent. All the pictures we’ve took together were peacefully pinned onto the board and little traces of me were left untouched. Step by step i walked around the room observing every memory there was to be seen in his room.
How could he forget me so easily?
I curled into a ball on his bed and silently wept tears. The only thing on my mind is how can i get him to remember who i was.
Suddenly the door creaked open. “__, It’s me. I’m coming in.”
Suho entered the room and watched my movements carefully. His eyes reverted to the pictures and he lifted his hands to his head. A slight whimper came from him. Suho rarely showed his weakness to the members but i was fond of his tears. My arms wrapped around him and gave him the comfort he needed.
"Everything is my fault." He cried hysterically into my arms.
"Suho, how could you say that? We all know that you have nothing to do with whats happening right now." I soothed out his hair and pulled him apart from me. "Look at me Suho." I said staring into his eyes. "All you can do now is just sit and wait patiently for him to remember, it may not be soon but everything will come back to him. So just stay strong for the sake of us."
"T-there’s got to be something that we can do to make him remember." Suho got up and wiped the tears off his cheek. "what if, what if we get him to remember? With things that would spark the memories you both had."
What Suho said wasn’t a bad idea at all. The only thing i could do was just stare at him with how genius this was.
"We’d have each of the guys take you or give you something you both cherished throughout your relationship." He grabbed my wrist and dragged me outside. "Come, we need to tell the others."
The living room was eerie. Each member were still at their post, over thinking about this situation. Xiumin got up from the couch and hugged me out of the blue.
"you must be in much more pain than we are __." his voice was also comforting. Tears rolled down my cheeks again as he patted my head. "we’ll go through this altogether."
"noona." Sehun sat across from me. His tears dramatically falling down his cheeks. His eyes clouded with sadness as he clutched my hands together with his.
"Sehun i’m fine. Please stop crying." I handed him the tissue box and he blew his nose. I gave everyone a reassured look to put them all at ease. "suho has something to tell you."
Hours passed and what Suho was explaining sounded a little too impossible than it did before.
"Each member would have to do something or use something that was a cherished in their relationship?" Luhan was in disbelief. "So for instance, if __ and Kai’s first kiss was memorable we’d have to reenact that??"
"Sadly, yes." Suho rubbed his neck from frustration. "It’d be horrible to do, but we need him to have an uneasy feeling whenever he sees __ and one of us together. It’ll get him to realize who she is in his life."
Everyone was baffled and disagreed with the plan. Of course, its understandable. If i were them i wouldn’t want to do any of that with my friends wife. But at the same time i needed this plan more than anything.
"I agree to this guys." Sehun looked at me straight in the eye. "she needs this more than ever."
Tears almost welled up in my eyes but i held it in. I mouthed a thank you to sehun and got up.
"Please guys, i really need this. I can’t just stand here and watch as my husband looks at me with empty eyes, as if he never knew me." I squeezed my chest with my hand from the pain of just thinking about it.
It hurts too much.
"So who gets what." Chanyeol let out a tired sigh and looked up from his phone smiling.
My eyes brightened and i couldn’t help but to squeal when each member gave in.
"We’ll start off with Sehun. Since you are the youngest we need to give you something a little more appropriate."
Hours passed and no one had came up with anything, a simple quest, yet it was so hard to complete.
"what was is like when you guys first met?" suho asked. He was staring at the paper below trying to dot some ideas down. "Like where do you meet and all that good stuff."
"Hm, If i can remember i went to every fan signing there was. The last one was when i won the grand prize to spend a whole day with you guys. Don’t you all remember?" I looked at he members joyfully. It’s been 8 years since known them. And those 8 years were non regrettable. Sure i’ve been through a lot becasue of their fandom giving me a hard time, but it ever stopped me from hanging out with them.
"Oh yeah!, Kai really did have a big crush on you then." Chen started laughing and mocked the faces kai did whenever i looked at him back then.
"How did he end up stealing your heart though?" suho questioned again.
"It was because of this." I got up and rushed into Kai’s room. "where did i put it?" i quietly mumbled to myself.
A year into getting to know EXO, a letter was put into my mailbox. on the front side of the envelope it just had a simple: To __. Curiously i opened the letter and read:
Dear __,

The moment that I first saw you, you were standing in the middle of the crowd, having fun with the other members. Your smile suited you well. There was something about you, maybe it was in the way you laughed or the way your eyes lit up, and I knew that there was this undeniable attraction that I felt for you. I was shy, nervous and I hesitated just a little bit when the members called me over to introduce myself. I swear my heart skipped a beat. Ever since that day i just couldn’t let you go. I needed to get to know you more so i asked Suho to get in contact with you. Now we’ve known each other for a while and… it seems that I’ve fallen for you. If you do feel anything from reading this letter please meet me at Namsan Tower tonight. I’ll be waiting.

It was unexpected really, I’ve never noticed that he’s had a crush on me since he was hardly around when i came over to hangout. I did decide to go just in case Chen was trolling me again. When i went it was already past 10 and no one came.
"figures," I assumed that it was another prank and was just about to leave until i heard a familiar voice call my name.
”__!” He ran towards me grabbing my wrist. “I’m sorry I’m late, my manager wouldn’t let us out later than 9 because of our schedule tomorrow.” He bent over and frantically gasped for air.
My eyes widened in shock. “K-Kai? you really sent that letter to me?” I couldn’t believe this was real. By the time he got up my face was bright red.
"Who else would’ve?" he answered with a smile. "So.. how do you feel?" he kicked the pavement underneath us and looked down. I understand ho shy he was because I’m as shy as he is right now.
"I-I thought, i thought Chen was messing with me! I didnt think this was real. I honestly don’t know how I’m feeling right now!" Is what i answered but a week later was when i gave him my answer, now we’re happily married.
"Here it is," I handed Suho the letter, "this should at least make him remember something."
"This is more than enough," he smiled at me and turned towards everyone else, " here’s the plan when kai comes back with kris ask him to read this to give Sehun opinions if there needs any changing. We’ll go along with what we got when he finishes. But if this fails, __, you need to stay strong and look for more things that’ll trigger his brain. Never give up you hear me?" He grabbed my arms and looked at me intently.
"Y-yes."

"Why are you following us!" The image of Suho holding onto me kept popping up in his head and it made him even more mad but he didn’t know why.
"Kai! you cant walk around with a head injury." Kris tried his best to catch up with kai and nauen just to keep him safe.
"I’m trying to find out why i have this head injury!" Kai stopped once kris explained that he will tell him once they get home.
"Didn’t know you guys still had a thing." he looked wary staring at Naeun’s hand in Kai’s. Knowing immediately that he still had her hand he let go and scratched a spot under his bandage.He rubbed the scar left on his head from the accident curiously, dying to know what gave this to him.

Moments later kris arrived at the dorm, along with kai. “We’re here.” Kris closed the door behind him and set the bags containing all the medicine kai is supposed to take.
"Oh, welcome back." Suho and Xiumin were the only one who greeted kai back home. The other members silently kept watching TV or continued to talk to each other.
"Hello to you guys too," Kai sarcastically said and went straight towards his room.
Chen furiously tapped Suho on the shoulders.”what do we do! __ is still in there!”
Realizing what was happening Kyungsoo grabbed Kai’s arm and took him into the kitchen.
"Hyung!! I miss you! Are you hungry? you should eat. Here." He handed the kimbap i made awhile ago to him. "A friend of ours came over to make us some food."
"I am pretty hungry." Kai took a bite and he instantly went blank. "who made these?" He looked up to a clueless Kyungsoo.
"I already told you a friend did. She should be out of the bathroom in no time." Kyungsoo signaled for Chen and Suho to come and get me then smiled right back at Kai once he looked up.
"This taste is familiar though…" he tilted his head unsure about the taste.
"Hyung," Sehun interrupted, "i need some advice."
"huh? oh, sure what is it?"
"I’m writing a confession letter to someone i like, and i want to know if this is good or not."
"Whaaaat??! since when do you do those kinds of things?" kai laughed and grabbed the letter off the counter. "This is the most…" his eyes started to tear up he put the letter down, "CHEESIEST LETTER I’VE EVER READ!!
Out of instinct my body froze.
"I mean come on, a girl wont fall for something like this right?"
Thump
Everybody’s eyes reverted to me.
"Oh’ ah ha e-excuse me." I left the dorm immediately after what happened. Kai had a odd expression on his face and picked up the box i had dropped. He neatly organized all the paper scattered on the floor. However a little Polaroid caught his attention. It was a picture of the lock we put up on Namsan Tower.
"We will always cherish every moment together, never ever letting it fade away.."
