5 Months Is All It Takes...

After coming back inside of the house, the other members had woken up and headed downstairs to eat breakfast together. While they were eating breakfast, Yugyeom asked where Yoojung went so early in the morning. Also, Youngjae asked about the bouquet of flowers (Mark bought for Jenny as a present at the grocery store & she displayed it on the dinner table) that was on the table since last night.

Yugyeom (*ask everyone if they knew) : why isn’t Yoojung eating with us this morning ?
Mark : she left to meet her boss this morning.
BamBam : when will she be back ?
Mark : in a couple hours or so.
Youngjae (*asking Mark) : Hyung, where did the flowers come from ?
Mark : i bought them yesterday when we went grocery shopping together.
Jr. : you and Yoojung ?
Mark : Ohhhh….
JB (*curious & asks) : Was it really for the house or for her (Yoojung) ?
Jackson (*to Mark) : Your starting to like her again, aren’t you ?
Mark : I'm not sure what this feeling is but i really miss her and i need her in my life.
Jackson : Its the feeling of love. besides, she already has a boyfriend.
Mark : I know.
Mark : i have never loved someone in my life up to a point where i might go crazy.
Mark : she is the only person who makes me feel this way.
JB : Hyung, are you even listening to yourself right now ?
JB : Jackson is right. she has a boyfriend, don't try to get involved.
JB : Bad things will happen.
Mark : so i'm restricted from loving someone i lost years ago ?
Jr. : we’re not saying that. you can love her but just don't be with her.
Mark : how can i just love her and not be with her ?
Mark : it breaks my heart not seeing her or seeing her with someone else.
Youngjae : its only been one day Hyung. whats gotten into you ?
Mark : I've felt like i lost her all these years and i need to make it up to her.
Jackson : there is only 5 months.

At the breakfast, it was intense talking about Yoojung. Jenny had made her way to the hospital to talk to Janely Muiret about something. Jenny was super nervous walking into the office and started to talk to Janely about the matter.

Janely : i'm really glad that your here today to speak to me about this.
Jenny : what is this thing you wanted to speak to me about ?
Janely : i wanted you to come work for us after you graduate.
Jenny (*looks down & smiles)
Janely : whats so funny ?
Jenny : Caroline said the same thing last night over dinner.
Janely : that's good.
Janely : We are willing to pay you double of what you have right now as an intern,
Janely : if you work for us full time after you graduate.
Jenny : i cant tell you how much this offers means to me.
Jenny : i'm thankful but i have other plans of my own after i graduate.
Janely : if that plan of yours doesn't work out then come to me and
Janely : i'll have this offer ready.
Jenny : thank you but i'm not quite sure where i will be at after i graduate.
Janely : lets just say that you will think about it for the next couple of months or so.
Jenny : i will get back with you very soon, i promise.

It was [11:00 AM] and after meeting with Janely, Jenny went to a cafe near by and sat there thinking about the offer over and over again. Then Caroline came to the cafe where Jenny was and talked to her about knowing Jackson years ago.

Caroline (*walks into the cafe & walks over to Jenny)
Jenny (*thinking about it & snaps out of it to see Caroline coming)
Jenny : Oh, your here already.
Caroline (*takes her seat & says) : it looks like you've been in dreamland.
Caroline : what were you thinking about ?
Jenny : its just that Janely offered me a permanent job at the hospital after i graduate.
Jenny : she said that she is willing to double my salary as of what i have now.
Caroline : that's great. i told you she would want you to work for her permanently.
Caroline : so what did you her ?
Jenny : i said that i would think about it and get back with her later.
Caroline : i see. there is something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now.
Caroline : i recently told Peter and he told me to tell you myself.
Jenny : what is it ?
Caroline : I used to know Jackson from GOT7.
Jenny (*confused & asks) : Jackson ? how ?
Caroline : there's a story behind it.
Jenny : well, do tell.
Caroline : When i began high school, i studied abroad in Hong Kong for the first 2 years.
Caroline : We went to the same school in Hong Kong.
Caroline : He did fencing while i ran track there.
Caroline : We got to know each other while all of our friends came together to hang out.
Caroline : The summer before my third year there,
Caroline : i got an important call from my aunt who was in LA.
Caroline : she had told me that both of my parents passed away in a car accident.
Caroline : a huge truck hit them and they both died at the scene.
Caroline : i had to take the next flight after i got that call from my aunt back to LA.
Caroline : from there, i never seen Jackson ever again.
Caroline : i came back here to take care of my parents funeral and stayed.
Caroline : i never came back to Hong Kong.
Caroline : So when i found out that he was a GOT7 member,
Caroline : i was so happy inside for him.
Caroline : i was relief that he was fine.
Caroline : I couldn't tell you last night about Jackson when i saw him again there.
Caroline : it hit me when i saw him again last night.
Jenny : we're both on the same page here.
Jenny : and did Jackson ever know that you left ?
Caroline : the teachers told the students that i went back to LA to take care of things.
Caroline : Peter says that we shouldn't let the past hunt us ever again.
Jenny : Is it wrong for someone to fall in love again after seeing your best friend ?
Caroline : are you falling in love with Mark, Jen ?
Jenny : i'm confused and i don't know what to do.
Jenny : the more that he's not here, i miss him like crazy and i want to hug him.
Jenny : I love him Caroline.
Caroline : what did he do ?
Jenny : he kissed me this morning and it felt so right but yet so wrong.
Caroline : why ? what about Jay ?
Jenny : that's why. i'm so confused.
Jenny : It feels like god is asking me to choose one or the other.
Jenny : what am i suppose to do ?
Jenny : i even told Mark that its wrong if we're together because i'm with Jay.
Caroline : what did he say ?
Jenny : he wants to make it work and because he wants to make it up for these years.
Caroline : Jen, we're not asking you to choose. Do whatever that makes you happy.
Caroline : that's what we all want for you.
Jenny : i got that.
Jenny (*looks at the clock & it was already lunch time)
Jenny (*says to Caroline) : i should get back, the guys are probably waiting.
Caroline : go on.

After talking to Caroline, it was already [1:00 PM]. Jenny drove her car home and walked to the beach pier to walk around and gather her thoughts. She was standing on the pier of the beach looking out and thinking about everything that happened these past few days. Then Jr. saw Jenny from afar and came to talk to her. He stood next to her on the pier and had a little chat with her.

Jr. : Are you okay Yoojung ?
Yoojung : Have you ever had something good happened to you and
Yoojung : you decided you don't know what to do ?
Jr. : Of course. it happens a lot to us GOT7 members.
Yoojung : what did you do ?
Jr. : we decided what was best for us.
Jr. : is this about Mark ?
Yoojung : everything is happening all over again but it includes you guys too.
Jr. : if you don't want us here, we'll leave.
Yoojung : No, i don't mean it like that.
Yoojung : its different than 10 years ago.
Jr. : of course its different, its never the same.
Jr. : what really happened this morning ? we were worried where you went.
Yoojung : i talked to my boss and you guys were right about the whole thing.
Jr. : are you talking about the job ?
Yoojung (*nods)
Jr. : so what are you going to do ?
Yoojung : i'm not sure, i'm so confused right now.
Jr. : do you know what i do when i have situations like this ?
Yoojung : what do you do ?
Jr. : absolutely nothing.
Yoojung : that doesn't help Jr.
Jr. : by doing nothing, you will eventually find out what will happen next.
Jr. : let the air take you.
Yoojung : i don't even know what that means.
Jr. : you’ll get it.

Jr. leaves back to the house. Jenny sat there for a while and then went back into the house. She went into her office to make a lot of phone calls regarding an open hospital position manager position in Korea. None of the hospital wanted to take her so she gave up completely. Then it was [6 PM] and Jenny had showered and went downstairs to find something to eat for dinner. There were a lot of left overs from last night so Jenny just took those and heated them up. Then the others came back from their day activities and walked into the kitchen smelling the good food. They took their seats and all ate dinner together. Jenny was really quiet at the dinner table so everyone questioned her of what happened.

Mark (*to Jenny) : Your quiet today. did something happen ?
Jenny : Huh ? Oh, its nothing.
JB : are you sure ? you aren't yourself today.
Jenny : no, i'm fine.
Jenny : are you guys doing anything tomorrow ?
Jackson : why ? do you have something in mind ?
Jenny : i wanted to take you guys around LA and let you guys meet someone.
Jr. : who ?
Jenny : a very special person.
Youngjae : i’m up for it.
BamBam : we all are Hyung.
Yugyeom : me too.
Jenny : alright. wake up at 9 am tomorrow and we’ll head out.

After dinner, Jenny and the guys cleaned up the kitchen. While everyone else was upstairs showering and washing up, Jenny and Mark was still downstairs talking.

Mark : what really happened today Jen ?
Jenny : my boss said that i should reconsider working for her after i graduate.
Mark : and what did you tell her ?
Jenny : i said that i’ll think about it.
Mark : what did you mean when you said that
Mark : you might not stick around here after graduation ?
Jenny : you really want to know ?
Mark (*nods)
Jenny : i really wanted to move to Korea and opened up my own hospital there.
Mark : why Korea ? why not LA ?
Jenny : Korea is where i was born and the last place ive been to.
Jenny : my parents grew up there and its closer to home.
Mark : where is home for you ?
Jenny : Home for me is in Seoul, Korea.
Jenny : i need to go back and relive everything I've missed.
Mark : of all the years you lived here, LA isn't your home ?
Jenny : No. my heart is in Korea.
Jenny : Look Mark. It makes me sad every time we bring up the past.
Jenny : i don't want to remember any of it.
Jenny : i lost every close person to me in my life and i don't want to recall ever again.
Jenny : i really miss them so much that its hard for me every time i speak of it.
Jenny : its good if we don't, i get hurt every time. i know it.
Mark : i'm sorry i brought up the past a lot. its just that I've missed it, I've missed us a lot.
Jenny : i missed it too. But its best not to speak of it.
Mark : i get it and i'm sorry.
Jenny : don't be.
Jenny : i'm going to do homework now, i’ll see you in the morning.

Jenny headed up to her office and saw the bookcase open. She walked into the bookcase room and saw Youngjae sitting on the couch reading a book. Then Jenny walked over to him and asked him something.

Jenny : didn't i tell you to close the bookcase after you enter the room ?
Youngjae : i'm sorry. i just wanted to get a book in return of the other one i got last time.
Youngjae : i saw a new collection here and i wanted to sit and read it for a while.
Jenny (*shocked) : you finished that book in a day ?
Youngjae : yeah. it was so interesting and relaxing sitting on the beach reading it.
Jenny (*smiles)
Youngjae (*looks at Jenny smiling & says) : what ?
Jenny : i think by the time you go back to Korea, you’ll finish reading every book in here.
Youngjae : i might as well make the time for it.
Jenny : im glad your getting use to everything.
Youngjae (*closes the book & says) : why do you say that ?
Jenny : im not too used to this.
Youngjae : to what ?
Jenny : to you guys being here. i mean, i lived alone ever since.
Jenny : and ever since you guys moved in, my life has completely changed.
Jenny : we eat breakfast and dinner together, watch movies together,
Jenny : go to places together.
Jenny : I've always done things alone here and with you guys being here,
Jenny : i think i'm used to it now.
Youngjae : we’re going to be around for a while so you should get use to it.
Jenny (*smiles)
Jenny : i'm going to do homework. remember to close the door on your way out.
Youngjae : i will.

Jenny went back to her desk and did a little homework. In the middle of doing homework, Jay called Jenny’s cell phone and he told her to meet her at the park near her house. Jenny grabbed her cardigan and went to the park to see Jay.

Jenny (*walks slowly towards Jay & stood in front of him)
Jay (*looks up at Jenny & says) : Hey.
Jenny : Hey. (*sits next to Jay)
Jay : i'm sorry about last time. i was really jealous of the way you talked about Mark.
Jenny : i'm sorry too. Its been so long since I've seen him and i really miss him a lot.
Jenny : he was the first person i cared about when i was little.
Jay : you were so little, what did you know ? (*smiles)
Jenny : i wanted everyone in my life to be happy and to care for him,
Jenny : that was enough for me.
Jay (*jokes around) : and this was speaking from a little child doctor ?
Jenny (*smiles) : i had high hopes and dreams when i was little.
Jay : and do you still ?
Jenny : not anymore. as you grew older, things change.
Jenny (*looks over at Jay & says) : i'm sorry about everything.
Jenny : especially the wedding and disappointing your mother this entire time.
Jenny : i messed up entirely with my life.
Jay : you never told me the other reason why you didn't want to get married.
Jay : it wasn't just about Mark, but something else. what was it ?
Jenny : we were still young and i felt like i would disappoint my parents
Jenny : if i gotten married early.
Jay : but their not here.
Jenny : they aren't.
Jenny : the things is my parents didn't want me to make the same mistake they made.
Jenny : they had me when my mom was pursuing her dream to be an artist.
Jenny : because of me, she couldn't fulfill her dream as an artist.
Jenny : she quit school and taken care of me instead
Jenny : my parents didn't want me to get married early.
Jenny : i promised them until i really love someone, i will.
Jenny : maybe one day.
Jay : because of a promise, you didn't go through with it.
Jenny : marriage in our family was big. no one else in my family married early.
Jay : i'm sorry for pushing you to get married so soon, i didn't know.
Jenny : i thought i could go through with it but
Jenny : something told me that Mark was coming back.
Jenny : and now he’s here.
Jay : do you still love me like you used to ?
Jenny : i will always have but not as much as i care for Mark, you know that.
Jay : i knew that i couldn't compete with him.
Jenny : don't feel that way.

After talking to Jay, Jenny finally came home. When she went inside of the house, it was all dark and everyone was sleeping already. Jenny turned on the light in the living room and sat there on the couch in front of the TV that was not on. She just sat there and stared at it thinking about what Jay said to her that night. That night, Jenny didn't feel like going to her room to sleep so she just slept on the couch. In the middle of the night, Mark came downstairs and saw Jenny laying on the couch and put a blanket on her so she wouldn't get cold.
