5 Months Is All It Takes...

Jenny left Mark's room to go downstairs to get ready to leave to the market. Mark went to tell Hyun Suk and Minho that he was going to go with Jenny to the supermarket and they were okay with it. Then Mark head his way downstairs outside where Jenny was parked and she was already there in her car. He went to the passenger seat and sat there. Couple minutes later, Jenny and Mark was already there at the Korean supermarket (the only one in town). Jenny was walking around the market finding the ingredients that she needed and put it in her cart. Mark wandered somewhere else and finally came back with a bouqet of pretty flowers wrapped in his hand. He came towards Jenny holding the bouqet in front of her and said that it was hers as a present. She looked at him, smiled, and accepted the flowers. He asked her she was finished shopping and then she said yes. The two went to the cashier to check out the items and went back home. After arriving back at the house, Jenny and Mark carried the bags of groceries into the kitchen on the kitchen table. Mark wanted to help Jenny make the food too so he sticked around to help her unpack the groceries onto the table taking out the bags. When they were doing that, Caroline walked through the front door and into the kitchen holding the cake in hand seeing Jenny and came across seeing Mark too. Jenny saw Caroline and they talked a bit before Caroline left again.

Caroline (*walks into the kitchen & sees Jenny & Mark)
Jenny (*sees Caroline & says) : your finally here.
Caroline : I was going to come earlier but Peter needed help with the house.
Jenny : oh yeah ? what did you guys do ?
Caroline : we decorated the kitchen with paintings he bought.
Caroline (*putting the cake into the fridge & says) : I'll put this in here.
Jenny : thanks.
Jenny : you should stick around and help us cook dinner for GOT7 and their managers.
Caroline : Us ? whose us ?
Jenny (*glances at Mark to Caroline)
Caroline (*gets what Jenny was talking about & says) : Ohhhhhhhhh....
Caroline (*to Mark) : you must be Mark, Jenny has told me A LOT about you.
Mark : did she now ?
Caroline (*nods)
Caroline : Yeah......... i shouldnt stay, i should get going.
Jenny : why ?
Caroline : i promised Peter that i would study with him for the MCAT.
Jenny : you guys are studying without me ?
Caroline : we thought you were busy with the whole GOT7 issue.
Caroline : we're just getting a head start.
Jenny : Oh, i see. i wish you guys luck then.
Jenny : come by later at 7:00 or so and have dinner for us, i want you to meet GOT7.
Caroline : i'll probably come by with Peter later.
Jenny : thanks, your the best.
Caroline : i got to go.
Caroline (*to Mark) : it was nice meeting you.
Mark (*to Caroline) : you too.

Caroline left the house. Jenny and Mark started to cook the foods. It was [2:00PM] and Jenny had to start right away on the food because it took longer then she expected and she had a feeling that the guys were hungry from the morning. Jenny cooked 3 large servings of Korean Seafood Tofu Soup, one medium bowl of spicy rice cakes, 4 large pancakes, lots of side dishes, Korean BBQ (Kalbi meat), and one big pot of white rice. That took Jenny 5 hours to cook with the help of Mark on the side. It was finally [7:00PM] and the two were finished cooking all of the foods. Jenny was tired and sat down on the table to rest a little before distributing the food onto the plates and plater. Yugyeom and BamBam smelled the food and ran downstairs to see what Jenny and Mark was cooking. When they got to the kitchen, they saw Jenny and Mark together there finishing the final touches on the foods. Jenny saw them and told them to help lay out the stuff on the table.

BamBam & Yugyeom (*runs to the kitchen)
BamBam : something smells good.
Yugyeom : what are you guys cooking ?
BamBam & Yugyeom (*sits in the long kitchen dining table doing nothing)
Jenny (*yells at Yugyeom) : Yugyeom !
Yugyeom (*yells back at Jenny) : Yes ?
Jenny : come help us set the table now.
Yugyeom (*suddenly becomes sad)
BamBam (*teasing Yugyeom) : Maknae.
Yugyeom (*goes & distributes the silverware onto the table)
Jenny (*yells at BamBam) : i didnt forget about you BamBam !
BamBam (*complains in cuteness to Jenny) : Why noona ?
Jenny (*yells at BamBam) : Hurry ! (Baliwa !). Help put the rice in 12 bowls.
BamBam (*listens & prepare the rice)
Mark (*chuckles at BamBam & Yugyeom while sturing the food to finish)
Jenny (*smiles quietly to herself)
BamBam (*preparing the rice & says) : why are there 12 bowls when we only have 10 ?
Jenny (*tells BamBam while doing other things) : we have 2 more guests over today.
Youngjae (*comes into the kitchen & says) : Hello. Do you need help with anything ?
Jenny (*hears Youngjae & says) : Oh, Youngjae. Call the others to eat.
Youngjae (*to Jenny) : Yes.
Youngjae (*goes back upstairs to call the others)
Jenny (*jokes with BamBam & Yugyeom) : why cant you two be like Youngjae and listen ?
Yugyeom : i do listen noona.
Jenny : BamBam doesnt, he complains.
BamBam : no, i dont noona.
Jenny : im joking.

Yugyeom were finished distributing the silverware to each seat and BamBam was done putting rice into bowls on each seat too. Jenny and Mark was also done putting the food into platers and plates onto the dining table. Then Youngjae, Jr., Jackson, JB, Minho, and Hyun Suk all came down to the kitchen to sit in their seats to eat dinner. Mark, BamBam, and Yugyeom joined the rest in sitting at the table. Jenny went to the living room where her purse was and got her cellphone to call Caroline. It was already [7:30PM] and right when Jenny was about to press Caroline's name on her phone, Caroline walked into the house with Peter. Jenny looked over and told Caroline and Peter....

Caroline & Peter (*walks through the front door)
Jenny (*looks over at the two & says) : i was going to call you two.
Caroline : we came late because of him (Peter).
Peter (*to Jenny) : we werent late, were we ?
Jenny : we were just about to eat, i just finished cooking.
Peter (*to Caroline) : see ? we werent late, we made it in time.
Caroline (*to Peter) : whatever.
Jenny : come on guys.

Jenny walked into the dining area of the kitchen and saw the other members. Caroline and Peter followed behind Jenny. When they got to the area, Jenny introduced everyone who was in their seat one by one to Caroline and Peter.

Jenny (*introduced the guys to Caroline & Peter) : Guys, this is Caroline and Peter.
Jenny : they are my best friends. they come here often.
Peter (*bows & introduce himself) : Hello, Im Donghoon, Peter.
Caroline (*bows & introduce herself) : Im Yoon soo, Caroline.
Jenny (*to Peter & Caroline) : have a seat you two.

Caroline and Peter went to sit in the chairs at the dining table. Everyone had went into the dining area of the kitchen and sat down to eat. They waited for Jenny because she had to pick up her phone, someone called her. She was standing in the kitchen and talking but she went into the living room to speak to the person on the phone.

Jenny (*picks up her phone in the kitchen) : Hello ?
Janely Muiret : Jenny ? this is Janely Muiret.
Jenny (*walks into the living room with the phone in her ear)
Jenny : Oh, hello Dr. Muiret.
Janely : i wanted to speak with you about something important.
Janely : is it okay if you come in tomorrow so we can talk ?
Jenny : sure, its not a problem.
Janely : i’ll see you then Jenny.
Jenny : i’ll see you.

After speaking with her boss on the phone, she went back into the kitchen to have dinner with the others. When they were all eating together, Caroline suddenly asks Jenny who it was on the phone.

Caroline (*asks Jenny) : who was that on the phone ?
Mark & Jackson (*looks up at their food looking at Jenny)
Jenny : it was my boss from my intern job.
Jenny : she wanted to speak to me about something tomorrow.
Caroline : what about ?
Jenny : she didn’t say, all she said was that it was important.
Caroline : maybe its about a future job there.
Jenny (*shrugs her shoulder & says) : who knows.
Mark (*to Jenny) : if it is a future job, will you take it ?
Jenny : im not sure. someone else asked me to work for them after i graduate.
Mark : and what did you say ?
Jenny : i told them that i was going to think about.
Jackson : you should’ve taken it, its a once in a lifetime chance Jenny.
(*Everyone almost done with eating)
Jenny : i know but its not that easy to accept an offer like that, it takes time.
Jenny : im not even sure if i’m going to be here after graduation.
Mark : what do you mean by that ?
(*Everyone was done with eating)
Jenny : i don’t want to talk about it, not here.
Jackson : im sorry i mentioned about the once in a lifetime chance thing, i didnt mean to.
Jenny : no, its okay Jackson.
Jenny : i have too many things on my mind lately.
Peter : your just stressed out Jenny, just relax.
Jenny : i’ll clean up, you guys go rest up for the night.
Jackson : no, we’ll help.

Jenny stood up and went to put her dishes in the sink. Then everyone else stood up and helped out. Yugyeom picked up all of the silverware and put them in the sink while BamBam took all of the rice bowls into the sink. Mark and Jackson helped took out the trash. Jenny and Jr, helped each other wash the dishes while Youngjae and JB wiped down the table cleaned. Minho and Hyun Suk went upstairs to shower and wush then came back down to join the rest. Peter and Caroline took out the cake in the fridge and prepped it for everyone to eat. After doing all of the chores, everyone met back at the dinner table where they ate and sat down to celebrate their first day at the house. Everyone was so happy and ate the cake together at the table. After that, Jenny cleaned up while the others went upstairs or stayed downstairs to shower or hang out. Caroline and Peter thanked everyone for the dinner invite and left back home. When Caroline and Peter got back to their house, they talked for a little bit in the kitchen before doing their own things.

Caroline (*suddenly asks Peter) : Do you think Jen is going to be okay with them ?
Peter (*turns around to look at Caroline & asks) : you mean GOT7 ?
Caroline (*nods her head)
Peter : she’s got it under control.
Peter : besides, their two managers are there to take care of them too.
Peter : so its not just Jen.
Caroline : during the dinner, something has been bothering me.
Peter : whats was wrong ?
Caroline : Jackson.
Peter : what about Jackson ?
Caroline : I knew Jackson when i went to Hong Kong for boarding school.
Caroline : I stayed there for the first 2 years of my high school.
Caroline : He did fencing and i ran track at his school in Hong Kong.
Caroline : we knew each other then because of our hobbies.
Peter : what happened to the years after that ?
Caroline : i came back to the US because my aunt said that
Caroline : my parents passed away in a car accident.
Caroline : she said a huge truck hit them and they both died at the scene.
Caroline : i went back to LA as soon as possible to have my parents funeral.
Caroline : i never went back to Hong Kong ever since.
Peter : Did Jackson know that you left ?
Caroline : i guess he did because the teachers told the class that i left permanently.
Peter : why is the past hunting you and Jen now ? why can’t you two let it go ?
Caroline : i dont know, its all coming back to me now.
Peter : why didnt Jackson say anything during dinner earlier ?
Caroline : i guess he didnt want to.
Peter : Don’t let the past ever hunt you again, same goes with Jen.
Caroline : should i tell her about Jackson ?
Peter : She is our best friend and she has the right to know.
Peter : your going to have to tell her yourself on this one Caroline.
Caroline : alright.

Caroline and Peter did their own things after talking to each other in the kitchen. Jenny was finished with everything and went upstairs to shower and clean up. After showering, Jenny went back into her room and to clean up her clothes in the closet. She was dressed in skinny think sweat pants and a loose t-shirt. Then she headed to the library/ office space with her backpack and homework there. When she made it to the library/ office space, she saw that Youngjae was already in there reading a book. Though it looks like he was reading the book hard, he really didnt understand anything the book said. Jenny greeted Youngjae and she began to do her homework. When Jenny was half way through doing her homework, Youngjae glared over at Jenny and asked her something. She was calmed in answering his questions.

Youngjae (*stops reading his book & looks at Jenny)
Youngjae (*asks) : Is it okay if you speak in Korean towards everyone from now on ?
Yoojung : why ?
Youngjae : i just feel left out with the rest of the members
Youngjae : not knowing what your talking about in English.
Youngjae : so will you promise me that you will speak Korean to everyone ?
Yoojung : i promise Youngjae-ah.
Youngjae : thanks.
Yoojung (*looks up at Youngjae & asks) : Do you enjoy reading ?
Youngjae : Yes, a lot.
Yoojung : do you want to read in Korean ?
Youngjae : i want to read both, Korean and English.
Yoojung (*gets up from her seat & says) : i want to show you something. follow me.
Youngjae (*puts his book down & asks) : where are we going ?
Yoojung : follow me.

Yoojung made her way and stood in front of her white bookshelf. Youngjae stood behind her confused but just followed Yoojung there. When she stood in front, Youngjae asked.....

Youngjae : why are we here ? its just an ordinary bookshelf.
Yoojung (*turns to Youngjae & says) : this isnt just an ordinary bookshelf.
Youngjae : why ?
Yoojung : you promise me that you wont tell anyone about this,
Yoojung : its just between you and me. okay ?
Youngjae (*couldnt speak but just nod his head)

Yoojung cracked opened the side of the bookshelf opening it like a door and opened it wide. Youngjae’s eyes were widely big and he was surprised to see what an amazing bookshelf Yoojung had. Yoojung opened it and let Youngjae inside first and she closed the bookshelf behind her. There was a staircase that lead to the upper part with the rest of the other other books. Yoojung told Youngjae something before going up the staircase.

Yoojung : you must always close the bookshelf behind you every time you come in here.
Yoojung : its what makes it secretive in this house.
Youngjae : yes.

Yoojung let Youngjae up the staircase first and when he reached the top, he got even more shocked to see all of her book collection. While Youngjae was making his way around looking at all the books, Yoojung told him some things he needed to know.

Yoojung : these are all the Korean and English book collection from Korea.
Yoojung : i bought them when i visited Korea years ago.
Yoojung : the collection was so great that i had to bring it back to LA to read them again.
Yoojung : i didnt know where to put them so i made this room just for them.
Yoojung : i sometimes come here to read them or just think about my day.
Yoojung : i hope you enjoy them.
Youngjae : how did you manage to bring all of them back here ?
Youngjae : there is too many of them.
Yoojung : once you love something, you’ll do whatever it takes.
Youngjae : so you loved them to a point where you wanted it here ?
Yoojung : your right.
Youngjae : its just like when you love someone,
Youngjae : you would do everything it takes to love them.
Youngjae : just like how you did with these books.
Yoojung : right.
Yoojung : this room is a secret, no one can know about it. you got that ?
Youngjae : your secret is safe with me.
Youngjae : Is it okay if i bring one book back to my room and read it ?
Yoojung (*smiles & says) : you can bring as many as you like,
Yoojung : but remember to put it back where it belongs.
Youngjae : yes. thank you Yoojung.
Yoojung : i’ll be in the library doing homework if you need me.
Youngjae : yes, i understand.

Jenny left Youngjae to find his book and went back to her office space to continue doing homework. 30 minutes later, Youngjae came out of the room behind the bookshelf with a book in his hand. He said goodnight to Jenny and went back to his room. After two hours later, it was [12AM] and Jenny was just finished with her homework. She was putting together her paperwork and into her binder/ folder. She cleaned up, put everything back into her backpack, and headed back into her room to sleep. Everyone else was already sleeping from a tired day, but Mark was still awake laying in his bed. Jenny was laying in her bed tossing and turning, she couldn’t sleep at all so she went downstairs to get a glass of water to drink. Mark heard the glass cling and went downstairs to see who it was. Jenny was already walking herself with the glass of water to the couch to sit. Mark made it downstairs to the living room where Jenny was and just stood behind the wall to see what Jenny was doing.
