"wait a sec" you pull away from Kai. Kai raised his
eyebrows in confusion.

"I'm supposed to meet my
future husband here... " your voice trails off.

"don't tell me you're..." both of you said in unison.

"my future wife?"

"my future husband?"

Everything went silent except the sound of the rushing waves. The two of you had your eyes sparkles with anticipation and at the end let out soft chuckles.

"I should had know! I'm not anticipating much about this whole arranged marriage before" Kai wails.

"well, are you now?" you challenged. He nods and plastered his boyish grins on his face.

"I am. I can't wait" he pulled you and tightly wrapped his arms around you. "we shall not be apart again" he whispered to you.

You look up to him, meeting his eyes. You gently traced his jaw line and leaned your head against his chest. He gently stroke your hairs.

"wait. You guys are currently dating each other? How come?" Mrs.Kim investigate.

"well... We're going to the same school, I enrolled in EXO High months ago" you explained. Glancing at Kai for a brief moment and back to your mother.

For a moment the tension in the room growing big but break when Kai started to speak up.

"come on mom, shouldn't you guys be happy for us? It'll make the matter easier"

"what? Of course I am!" she shrieks.

"that's right, I'm happy that she's dating your son my friend" Your father pat Kai's father shoulder and both of them exchange happy glances.

"we've come up with your engagement date awhile ago" your mother blurts.

"It'll be after your graduation" Mr.Kim chime in.

"that's fine with us, right?" Kai turned to you and beamed.

You blushed and immediately look away. "aigoo~~ she's beautiful" Kai's mother appraise making you blush even more.

"eat up more Jongin" Your mother offers. Kai just nod but he give you signal that he's stomach going to explode.

"that's all right mom, he can refill his plate if he's still hungry, even his plate now didn't convince me that he'll finish it any sooner" you said jokingly. Smirking at Kai. Kai kick your leg under the table but you manage to kick back.

"jaa~ enough with the talking, let's continue eating" Your father said aloud and everyone laugh upon hearing it since he's the one talking a lot.

After dinner Kai and you help washed the dishes and let the elders do the talking in the living room, having their own time.

"oppa, will you come to my graduation day?" you finally asked the question that had been lingering in your head.

"graduation day? What's the date?" he beamed.

"well, its next week, on thursday"

*oh crap. That's the same day as my graduation too. Shit...* Kai silently thought. He faked a smile. "sure, I'll surely come babe" he assured.

"when is oppa's?" you asked back.
"well, that hasn't been decided yet, oppa will text you then?" he glances at you and you just nod at him.

"how's your school so far? Did anyone bully you?" he questioned again.

You snorted with laughter. Kai took a seat, keeping his eyes on you while you're busy arranging the dishes.

"of course, every school has a bully, but Zico is just the same as you oppa, total troublemaker" you sulk.

"so you're saying that I'm a troublemaker then?" he challenged and smirk at you.

You put down the plate in your hand and sashay towards him. He gestured his amusement.

You went behind him and give him a back hug. He grins and you chuckled at him. "yes, you're a jerk" you playfully utter and give him a peck on his left cheek.

"but still, I'm the jerk that you loved, and soon-to-be husband of yours" he backfire, and returned back the favor.

"I love you" you whispered.

"I love you" he grins. "let's be together now and then" he caressed your cheeks before pulling you for another hug.

As soon as you guys join the living room.

"since we come to our agreements. We better get going now, yeobo, let's go" Mr.Kim stood up turning to his wife.

"what~ no. I don't want to leave eomma" Kai protest, hugging you in the process, you gasped. "I. DON'T. WANT. TO. LEAVE" He says word by word, making his point clear.

"Jongin" Mrs.Kim fumed. She approach Kai and pulled Kai's ear making him wail in pain.

"eomma~~~ it hurts" he cries out but refuse to let you go.

"let's go Jongin, don't embarrassed us in front of your in law" she scold and pulled Kai towards the door. You forced a smile and look over to your parents.

"I'm sorry for my wife act, she's doing that merely for him to act civil" Mr.Kim utter which your parents understand.

At the end, Kai gave up. He walks with heavy steps. You pace up and hugged him from behind. "we'll meet again oppa, don't worry"

"promise?"

"yeap. Promise" you let go and snug close to him as both of you walk side by side.

"omo~ look at our children yeobo" Mrs.Kim assert as she lean against her husband's shoulder.

"yes, I'm glad he's marrying someone he love"

"Kai should be hanging out with us today" Chanyeol whine.

"it must be his mother, don't worry yeol... We have pretty much plenty of time to spend with that jerk" Baekhyun spat, taking a sip of his apple juice.

"yeah right, when he got married we'll be left f^cked" Chanyeol cuss making Kyungsoo to hit his forehead.

"nobody is getting f^cked here, we'll still be together" he hiss.

"okay fine. Sorry" Chanyeol grumble. Baekhyun rolled his eyes and continues to think about you.

"you better fix that attitude Park Chanyeol" Sehun points out as he read through pages of magazine.

"yeah, and why are you here actually?" Baekhyun jeer, turning to face him.

"me? Just a Subtitute" he clears his throat and take a sip of kyungsoo's drink.

"don't assume I'm like this that I can't beat you to pulp Oh Se hun~ really! Who says you can drink my bubble tea? you!" Kyungsoo yelled and punch Se hun on his side.

"oh right, that taste like a girl--" Se hun stop when his phone ringtone blast loud inside his pocket.

His heart stop when he sees the caller ID.

'(your name) ' he looked up at Baekhyun and then back to his phone then back to Baekhyun again.

"whats wrong with you? You're not going to answer that? Who's calling..." Baekhyun's voice trails off when he peek on Sehun's phone.

He frantically try to snatch the phone in Sehun's hand but fail. Se hun immediately answer it.

"ya! Where are you? Where have you been?! Why are you only calling now?! WHY DID YOU DISAPPEAR JUST LIKE THAT!" he shouted to the phone catching attention of another customers entering the cafe.

Kyungsoo and Chanyeol immediately bows on Se hun behalf to other customer's. "seriously calm down will you?" Chanyeol seated Se hun on his chair while he keep on spewing questions on the phone. While Baekhyun...

Baekhyun has been robbed of speech. 'did she really just call Se hun?' he thought but keep a calm facade.

"who are you talking to Sehun?" kyungsoo asked. Baekhyun took a deep breath and snatch Sehun's phone and pressed it against his ears.

"ya, where are you? Are you doing just fine? I miss you" he spat spontaneously. The other three are taken aback by his statement.

"that can only mean one thing... Her!" kyungsoo and Chanyeol said in unison. Se hun is baffle. "who is her? (your name)? Baekhyun likes her too?" Se hun growls. He grabbed the phone and leave the cafe.

Chanyeol pull Baekhyun and he fell limply on his seat. "she's doing just fine and she..."

"she what?" Kyungsoo asked.

"she's.... She's engaged" Baekhyun utter with pause in between.

"what?" Chanyeol frowns and shake his head in disbelief. Kyungsoo took out his phone and dial up Kai's number and put it on loudspeaker. Seconds later Kai answer at the other end.

"kai, we need to tell you a bad news"

-"what bad new? I got good news to share with you guys" Kai raved, his voice projected high pitches.

"should we hear good or bad first?" Chanyeol asked.

"bad news" baekhyun weakly utter.
"okay. (your name) is engaged" kyungsoo blurts and the other end went silent.

"yeah, so what?" Kai asked back. Giving baekhyun an impression as if he didn't even care.

"well, aren't that your girlfriend?" Baekhyun fumed but remain reserved til the end.

"she's engaged to me anyway but how did you guys find out?" kai blurts making the three of them speechless.

"you mean she's engaged to you? You? Don't mind that, we just happen to know" kyungsoo asked again.

"yeah, the arranged married by my mom is her. She's the person coincidently" Kai explains.

"oh. Thats a glad then, did she slap you on the face?" chanyeol slur.

"you want some?" Kai challenges. "I decline" Chanyeol reply immediately.

"stop making a fuss guys, I'll tell you guys everything when I get back. I'm hanging up" Kai utter and end the line.

"it's okay Baek, there'll be someone replacing her place in your heart" Chanyeol pats and immediately console his broken-heart-buddy.

Baekhyun forced a smile "I can finally let her go" he cooly utter but his inside says otherwise. It's screaming in agony.

He cools down his heart with a sip of his drink. "I understand Baek, you made a right decision to let her go" Kyungsoo beam.

"should we go somewhere after this? Club?" Chanyeol chimned in, grinning like a fool.

"that sound good Chanyeol, what do you think baek?" Kyungsoo turns to baekhyun but only to find him sulking. He continuously nudged him until Baekhyun answer 'yes'.

"that's how we do it" Chanyeol enthusiastically utter and threw his arm around Baekhyun's neck. He literally drags him out of the cafe and went to club.

After the phone call with Sehun, you lie down on your bed, starting to recall everything that happened today.

"Sehun, Baekhyunie, I'm sorry" you murmur. Thinking how badly you had affected their life. Your eyes swollen with tears. *this is really getting out of my hand*

"Berry!!"

"That voice... Did I miss that dude so much that he's annoying voice echo in my head?" you panicked, burying your face on the pillow and fall asleep at the end.
