"Tadaima~~"

Your mother greets you on the door, she's looking around.

"What are you looking for?" You suspiciously asked.

"Your friends, this lately they always tagged along, not letting us to have a talk with you" she nags.

"You can still talk with me after they left"

"After they left? What did you do after they left sweetie? Answer me"

"Sleep" you shrugs.

"That's right, sleep. So please help yourself to explain the chances we're going to talk with you" she harangue with her hand out of control.

"Okay, let's have a talk then" you mutter and slump your body on the couch ( Kai's disease? Maybe )

"Tomorrow, your future husband and in law will be coming here, he's your father friend, he got a son, same age as you, after graduation... the two of you'll get married" she said in a matter-of-factly tone.

"Eh?! When did I agree to this mom? I'm only turning 19, I don't even think it's eligible for me. I got long ways to go" you protested.

Your mother furrowed her eyebrows. "I hear no more, please, just behave tomorrow and we'll decide how it'll goes" she sighs and left the living room.

You get up and went to your room, you done everything before going to bed. You numbly threw yourself on the bed.

"I'm going to get marry, what will yoonA and BoYoung thinks of it? They should be my bridemaids" You murmur and positioned yourself to sleep then your hands fall on sonething beneath the pillow. You grabbed it and took it out, it turns out to be your cell phone.

You turn it on and the hell break lose. Tons of texts turns in and instead of sleeping you spend hours reading the texts. One of it caught your attention, a text from Baekhyun.

'I should have protected you when Kai slapped you, I'm sorry. Seeing you cry break my heart, if only I acted out... You wouldn't be leaving'

Tears started to swelled up, you wepy on to reading some more texts and that include Kai's.

You dialled up Suho's number and he answered, his voice sounded coarse as he actually been weeping.

"where are you?" he weakly questioned.

"If I told you would you come? I miss your melon bread"

"you only miss my bread? Ah, this break my heart" he sobs at the other end.

The conversations goes on, Suho and you come on one appointment that Suho will come during your graduation day.

You missed the chances to tell him about the marriage. You dialled up YoonA's number and just like Suho, the call goes on for hours. She tells everything that happened at EXO High since you left including the fight between Kai and Baekhyun.

"anyway, are you dating Kai? During their fight I heard he said that he's not a good boyfriend and you deserve better" she asked.

"yea, it's almost a month now, sorey I was about to tell you guys but... I'm sorry" you grimace.

YoonA sighs on the other hand, making you feel a lot more guilty. "I'm sorry... " you murmur.

"that's okay, anything else you want to tell me? You seems to hide something from me" she suspected.

You clear your throat, you wanted to tell her about the marriage but what comes out is 'no'. You hang up the phone after saying your farewell.

Gradually, you were dragged to dreamland.

"hey baby, why don't you go to the convenience store not far from here. Buy some apples for our guests later, they'll be arriving soon" your mother instructed which you instantly obey, because if you don't instantly go, her nags bullets will be on action.

You walk down the street, passing by some ahjumma. After awhile you arrived at the convenience store, you successfully purchased apple and some yoghurt for yourself.

On the way, a black car pass by. Driving towards the same direction as you. You just shrugg it off, as usually there's cars passing by quite a lot.

You walk and were taken aback that the car you seen earlier is parked outside your house. You peek through the window and see your parents talking with someone sitting across her. You instantly assume that this is your marriage meeting, the one sitting with his back at you is your future husband.

You walked around the house and went in through the back door. Luckily, the couch your mother and father were sitting is aligned with the kitchen door.

You Signaled her to come to you but she refuses. You grunt and beckon her again, at the end she excuse herself to the kitchen.

"what are you doing? Join us now, your fiance was there. Go and meet him" she lightly hits your hand.

You munch the apple she's cutting making her hitting you more. "I won't have any objection, just do the talking mom and tell him that if he wanted to meet me, go to beach nearby. I'll be waiting there" you remind before fleeing away.

"ya!" she slightly shouted on not to interrupt the guests.

She pursed her lips together and help herself back to the living room with a tray filled with apples and tea.

"what was that all about just now?" she asked.

"my daughter, I'm sorry about her" your mother remorse.

"omo! Where is she? May I meet her? Jongin, you should meet her" Mrs.Kim enthuse, hitting Kai's biceps repeatedly.

"calm down yeobo, you're too excited" Mr.Kim whispered to his wife.

Mrs.Kim calm down and turned to Kai. "please, can't you do it for me?" she asked.

Your mother seems to heard their conversation and intereve " unfortunately, she went to beach nearby, I bet you guys pass by it. She also said that if Jongin wanted to meet her, he himself needs to get there and meet her personally. I'm sorry for my daughter requests" she did a few bows and Mrs.Kim went to stop her.

"please, It's okay, we didn't mind. Kids nowadays are hard to comprehend. Jongin will get there, right?" she squinted her eyes at Kai and gives him signal to just leave.

Kai silently trying to pull himself together. He stood up, bow and went outside, leaving the elders with their talks.

"where are you dude? Aren't we going to hangout?" Chanyeol asked over the phone.

"I can't today. I'm going somewhere with my parents or else they're going to ground me for weeks" Kai wails.

Chanyeol burst out laughing so loud Kai needs to put away the phone for a moment.

"you? The badass of EXO High got intimidated by the punishment your mother prepared for you? What a rip!" he obliviously shouted at his phone.

"Har-Har, very funny Park Chanyeol~~ f^ck it. I'm hanging up, see you tomorrow" Kai utter and immediately ended the call, not giving virus another chances.

Kai continue to walk until he reached the beach. He fiddle with his phone and try to call again as he walks towards your direction.

You're walking along the wave traces, letting it hitting your bare feet. The sounds of waves coming soothe you as it usually does, calming. Even the sea breeze aren't that strong perfecting the almost-twilight.

Suddenly, Your phone rings in your hand. You looked up to the caller ID named - namjachingu ♡ -

You hesitate to answer or not. You no longer infuriated at him, only now that you miss him so much to the extent that it hurts you.

You answered the call and pressed the phone closer to your ears.

"oppa.." you stutter.

"babe.." he replies back.

It become silence again, you waited for him to talk but Kai is also waiting for you to talk to him.

"say it" he utter.

"I..." you broke off, when you about to speak again... There's a sudden warm sensation against your back. You could feel arms embracing your body from behind.

His scent overwhelmed you. "I thought I would never meet you again" he whispered.

"Kai?" you called.

"no. Call me oppa, one more time" he insist.

You hold his hands, tears threatened to fall. "op...pa" you stutter.

He hugged you even tighter and eventually you started to cry as you couldn't contained your emotions any longer.

You turn around to face him. His arms still wrapped around you. You smile over the sight of him, everything is still the same. Kai is weeping in front of you.

You help wipe the tears on his cheeks with your thumb. You then leaned against his chest, listening to his heart beating, embracing him. "stop crying..." you declared.

"I'm trying here~ you how hard it was since you left me? I miss you" he cupped your cheeks, locking his eyes with yours.

"you found me"

"I'm sorr--" you pressed your index finger against his lips. "memory deleted. I already forgive you, it just I couldn't contact you because I felt ashamed for leaving you and I thought you didn't want to meet me" you looked down but Kai compelled you to see his face.

"why would I? I've been looking for you, your love drive me near insanity. I would do whatever it takes to be with you again" he pleads.

"I love you so much to the extent that no
other mere soul I need else than you" you reminisce.

Only then a smile appeared on Kai's face. "you forget the jerk there" he teases. Both of you chuckles.

You hug Kai once again and so do Kai.

"wait a sec" you pull away from Kai. Kai raised his eyebrows in confusion. "I'm supposed to meet my future husband here... " your voice trails off.

"don't tell me you're..." both of you said in unison.

"my future wife?"

"my future husband?"
