We are One...For You

-YOUR P.O.V.-

It was Sunday morning. I opened my phone to see what time it is. But it shocked me to see 12 messages on my phone. I opened my phone to see that each of the message comes from a different number. Weird. You replied a ‘who’s this’ to all of the messages. Then not even 5 seconds passed, your phone began to be flooded with messages. You opened them you were surprised to see the replies. Sehun. Baekhyun. Chen. Suho. Chanyeol. D.O. Luhan. Kris. Xiumin. Kai. Tao. Lay. ‘WTH?!’ You don’t remember giving your number to any of these people! Wait, Chanyeol asked for your number! You ended up regretting what you had just done. You ignored the messages.

-AT SCHOOL-

“Ok people. Pass your projects now.” Your professor said.

You stood up to hand him the papers. But as you were walking towards him, your foot got stuck on the desk leg. Then you tripped, dropping the papers. ‘Damn it!’ you internally screamed. You hear the whole class started laughing.

“Ms. Seung. Watch where you are stepping.” Your teacher called you.

You turned red because of embarrassment. You bowed down your head, yet you can feel people staring at you. You stood up and fixed yourself and started picking up the papers. Then suddenly, you saw a pair of feet walking towards you, you looked up to see who it was –Xiumin. ‘Great. Just what I needed. An Exo guy to mess up the work.’ You gave him a death glare. But to your surprise he helped you pick up the papers on the floor. You felt bad about what you thought, but you don’t need his help.

“Thanks. But I got this.” You said softly. He just snickered and continued picking up the papers. ‘What the hell is wrong with this guy?’

Finally all the papers were in place now, except for one which was in front of you. You raised your arm to grab it, then at the same time you saw another hand grab it too. You looked up to see Xiumin looking at you. Now you were looking at each other! You were in each other’s gaze for more than a second then you looked away and blushed. ‘This is one of those cliché romance stuff, right? Well it ain’t happening.’ You thought. You let go of the paper, then stood up, still looking away.

-XUIMIN’S POV-

I saw Shin-hee trip. Poor her. I saw the whole class laughing and looking at her. I felt really bad for her, so I decided to go and help her. I walked towards her. But before I could even help her, she looked at me. Her own eyes set upon mine. My legs stopped morning. But finally, I came back to my senses.

I picked up a few pieces of paper. I heard her say something to me: “Thanks. But I got this.” it was faint, yet it rings in my ears. I smiled. She sure does want to be independent. But I still helped her. The two of us were just there. It’s like another world where I am alone with her. Finally all of the papers were in place.

I was about to leave when I saw one more right in front of me. I extended my arm to get it, but to my surprise, I saw a hand grab the paper too. You looked up to see her again. She looked up. Now were looking at each other, eye-to-eye. I felt my heart stop for a second. Her eyes were really pretty, NO –every feature of her face was! I never noticed them. She looked away, yet I could see her cheeks turn pink. I sighed. If only she knew.

“Here.” I said coolly while I gave her the paper.

“Thanks.” She muttered softly. Then proceeded to the teacher’s table.

I went back to my seat. But her face was still being pictured in my mind.

A few days later…

-YOUR POV-
You were at school now. It was lunchtime. You headed to cafeteria to grab something to eat. After that, you looked around to find someplace to eat. You were walking towards a vacant table when someone blocked your way.

“You.” you saw Hyun-ok pointing at you. She was with her two other friends. You pretended that you didn’t hear anything and tried walking past them. But they kept blocking your way.
“What do you want?” you asked neutrally.

“You know very well.” She said while giving you death glares. ‘What the heck is wrong with this girl?’

“I don’t know. So let me pass now.” You walked past her, when one of the girls extended her foot which made you fall. Your lunch was thrown away. You could hear them laugh at the sight of you falling. You were still sitting on the floor with the food staining your uniform, then you felt cold water running throughout your hair then to your back. Hyun-ok poured a glass of water on you. You couldn’t help yourself but cry.

“Stay away from Exo.” She whispered at you. ‘What the heck?!’ you thought. You were already avoiding them! It’s not your fault they will end up wherever you are. This is their fault! You were at the climax of your misery when you hear someone.

“Hey! Stop that!” a familiar voice said. You looked up to see Chen, from class 3 and Tao walking towards you.

“What the hell are you doing?” Tao looked at the girls whose eyes were filled with fear. They were just standing there like flies caught in a spider’s web. “Look. I don’t care if your girls. But if you do that again, I swear– “

“Tao, just stop.” Chen cuts him off. “You heard him. Now, AWAY!” he said to Hyun-ok and the others who ran.

“Are you okay?” Chen said while wrapping his jacket around you. You blushed. You shrugged off to let go. But he hugged you so you won’t let go. Now you were blushing like crazy. You tried to struggle to get out of him, but he was just too strong.

“Please…I want you to feel well.” He whispered in your ear as he hugged you more tightly. Honestly, you felt more comforted in his arms, you just want to be beside him for a while. Your body was wanting more, but your mind was opposing.

“Let me go.” You said softly while struggling.

-CHEN’S POV-

I hugged her tightly. Being that close to her felt like I was in another time and dimension. It was majestic. Her warmth was really satisfying. I could feel her hot tears on my shoulder. What the heck did they do to her?! She has been neutral all the time, but why did they do this to her? I always notice she’s keeping a low profile, but there is just something in her that makes her stand out. I want to know more about her. I wanna stay in this moment forever.

“Let me go.” She said as she was struggling, so I decided to let her go.

She ran away as soon as I let her go. But as soon as she did, my arms felt empty. Damn it! Why did I even let her go? I want to feel her warmth. Her expressions. I want her.

-YOUR POV-

After a few seconds, you ran away. Not even daring to look back. You felt really hurt. You didn’t know they could do something like this. You found yourself running to the tree under the field. There you cried a lot. Not caring if anyone sees you, all you want is to release all of these emotions. All you want is to –BANG! You felt a strong force hitting your arm.
‘Seriously, at this time?!’ you thought.

You looked up to see a familiar guy running towards you.

“THORRY! SORRY! THORRY!” he said while running to you. Hey! That lisp. Youswore you heard that before! That’s right, Sehun!

“Oh. Hey…Sehun.” You said sniffing and wiping the tears on your face.

“Shin-hee? Oh my god!” his expression was shocked. He ran towards you even faster.

“Oh Shin-hee! I’m sorry I hit you again! Now your crying! Thory! Sorry!” he started panicking. His cute expression made you smile.

“No. No. it’s alright. I was crying a long time ago.” You had no choice but to admit it.

“Why?! What happened?” he sat beside you. You weren’t even inches apart. Your shoulders were touching each other. You were startled for a second, but you were finally able to say something.

“Uh…Long story.” You stuttered, while slowly moving away from him.

“I got time.” He said, while closing the space between you, but now your face were just inches apart. You started to mentally panic. This guy was an Exo! The root cause of your misery. But there was no escape on this. So you started explaining everything. But you omitted the part where Hyun-ok said to stay away from Exo.

“That is so mean!” he said to you. You giggled at his child-like expression. This guy sure is cute. Wait, NO. You mustn’t think that way towards them!

“Yeah.” You said casually.

“Well don’t worry. I’ll always be here when you need me.” He said while leaning his head towards YOUR shoulder. You panicked again. ‘Don’t worry Shin-hee. This is just a friendly gesture.’ You thought to yourself. Then he slowly crawled his hands towards yours. Now your fingers were intertwined! Ok, now this is too much!

“Well, thanks. I gotta go now.” You slowly stood up which made him lose balance.

-SEHUN’S POV-

I don’t like seeing people alone and sad. I wanted to comfort Shin-hee in every way I can.
“Well don’t worry. I’ll always be here when you need me.” I told her. Next thing I know, my head was slowly tilting towards her shoulder. I just can’t help myself. I pretended that nothing happened and just looked beyond the view. It’s weird but I notice that I act differently around her. I have never felt this before. I was expecting that she’d move her shoulder to shrug me off, but seconds passed we were still there.

I took a step forward and my fingers fond itself trailing through the grass then onto her and. Now I was touching her hand! It was warm, gentle and soft. I just wanna hold this hand forever. But then she started standing up. Ok, now she was freaked out. I shouldn’t have done this.

“Oh, uhm, ok. Bye.” I said casually like nothing happened. And then she just left. I saw her disappearing away from sight. My heart was still beating like crazy. I rested my head into the tree. I need her…beside me.
