We are One...For You

Chapter 5: Bad Coincidences 2

Days passed. And you were starting to get along more with your group mates for research, well except for Kris and Hyun-ok that is. Kris was just being the usual cold guy he was, so you just ignored him anyways, Hyun-ok however, was still the pathetic flirty fangirl. She always find ways to lay her filthy hands on the Exo members. You wondered why she is being so desperate to touch them. It’s not like touching them will change your world or anything.

You and Tao were getting along more. You realized he has more of a girly personality, ironic seeing on how scary-looking he is. Chanyeol was being his usual self, making people laugh all day. You had to admit, his jokes really are funny so you can’t help but smile too. You and Kai weren’t really that close, but you two were getting to know each other more because of working together.

Right now, you were in the hallway to get a few books from your locker. You reached your locker and started getting the books you need for the next subject. Just as you were busy packing your stuff, Chen and Lay was walking on the hallway. To your surprise, Chen called you.

“Yo! Shin-hee.” His voice was moderate, but since it was high, it echoed through the empty hallway. You were starting to have that weird internal debate if you are gonna answer him or not, but at the end you decided to look at them only.

“Hey.” Lay said. Now the two of them were just inches away from you.

“What?” you replied bluntly.

“Ah, Shin-hee, no need to be cold.” Chen frowned. He was right, you were kind of rude towards him. So you decided to be much gentler with your tone.

“What?” you said with a fake smile.

“That’s more I like it.” Chen smirked. “So…how are you?” he continued.

“Uh, I’m fine.” You said continuing to pack your stuff.

“You’re enjoying your time with other members?” Lay asked.
You paused for a while. You really had quite a fun time with them.

“Uh. I guess.” You said trying not to make it obvious. You were already done packing your stuff, you were now about to leave. “I gotta go.” You said. But just before you were about to leave, Lay placed his hands on your locker, indirectly trapping you. You were so shocked with the sudden move, that you just stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. What is he trying to plan?!

“Maybe your just having too much fun with them.” He said looking at you directly in the eyes.
You were trapped in his stair. Stammers and stutters started coming out of your mouth. You were not even having that much fun. You were just happy. After a few seconds, Chen finally said something.

“Sorry Shin-hee. Lay here got too carried away.” He grinned while slowly pulling Lay’s hand off the locker to set you free. You quickly ran away from the two of them. Damn, that was creepy. You could still hear the two guy’s voices.

“You like her don’t you?” Chen asked giggling.

What?! You just have misheard. You tried your best to clear your mind with what just happened. You looked at the time. Shit. You were already 15 minutes late for History class. Damn you guys. But you didn’t care and just decided to skip class. It was History anyway, your most hated subject. You headed to the field to have some time to rest your mind. You still can’t get over with what happened earlier. ‘What was wrong with that guy.’ You thought.

You took a seat under the shade of a tree near the football field. You closed your eyes for a moment to enjoy the peaceful silence of the environment. Leaves rustling, birds fluttering, wind- BAM! You felt pain hitting you on the forehead. You opened your eyes to see a football bouncing up and down beside you. ‘Who the hell kicked that ball?!’ you asked yourself while rubbing your forehead. You looked around, to see if anyone was there. You saw to guys in uniforms running towards you. You adjusted your head to see who they were. It was Sehun and Luhan.

“Sorry miss. I’m just a beginner and this is the –oh…” he stopped talking to realize who he hit was you.

“Sorry Shin-hee! This was the first time Sehun tried football.” Luhan explained, his doe eyes sparkling.

“Shouldn’t you be guys at class?” you asked them still rubbing your head.

“Well, shouldn’t you?” they said. They were right, you were skipping classes too. You just laughed at the thought.

“Hey. I’ve never seen you laugh before, even smile!” Sehun said surprisingly. You covered your mouth right away. You were not supposed to laugh. Your cheeks turned rose. You just stayed silent from embarrassment.

“So, anyways, where have you been the past few days?” Luhan asked you, both of the guys were sitting one on each of your side. Shit! You’ve never been this close with a guy before, not to mention two guys. You decided to at least say something.

“I was just doing…stuff.” You finally came with an excuse.

“Does your head still hurt?” he asked. ‘VERY!’ you thought.

“Yeah.” You said casually.

“Wait let me help you there. Sehun go get band aids form the clinic.” Luhan ordered Sehun who immediately followed.

“Good thing it was only a bruise.” He lifted his hands to touch the bruise on your head.
“Ouch.”

“Oh, sorry.” Now his hands were slowly stroking the hair on your head. What the hell is he doing? Your eyes were now interlocked with his. You can’t help but notice how pretty his eyes were and how he looked innocent to you. You blushed at the thought. You looked down so he won’t notice.

-LUHAN’s POV-
Wow, she’s pretty. I never thought that about her. She has really pretty brown eyes and cute lips. I wish I could feel them on mine. Wait, what?! I just met her yesterday. But I can’t help the feeling of my heart beating faster whenever I see her. I must get to know her more. I couldn’t help but smirk at the thought of her blushing. She looks cute. I was about to compliment her when… Sehun arrived. Damn it Sehun! Of all the time? Why now? But I just pretended to be happy.

-YOUR POV-
“Luhan-hyung, I have them now!” Sehun finally arrived running towards us with pack of bandaids.

“Thanks Sehun.” Both of you said. Luhan carefully peeled off the band aid and slowly placed it on the bruised part of your head. His hands were delicate and gentle. You felt better now.

“Thanks Luhan.” You smiled at him.

“Hey, Sehun’s fault for hitting you with the ball.” He said while looking at Sehun who crossed his arms.

“Ehem.” Sehun coughed. “We better get going Luhan, next class starts in 8 minutes.” Sehun said as he held Luhan’s arms and started dragging him to the building. Oh no! Classes. You got up and got your bag.

“Bye guys.” You said.

“Bye Shin-hee~” both of them said. They were now far away from you. But you can see them shoving and pushing each other like little kids. You laughed.

‘Ok. Better get going.’ You said to yourself.

-Lunchtime-
Finally, after a class in Math, it was finally lunchtime. This time, instead of eating in the cafeteria, you decided to eat in the rom just to avoid encountering Exo again. You’re not gonna let the same mistake happen twice right? So after getting your lunch you headed straight to your homeroom. As expected, no one was there. You took a seat and started eating. No mean girls, Exo or boring classes, just what you want it to be. You were in the middle of daydreaming when…

“Look who’s here.” A voice said.
You turn around to see who it was. You saw the future pres, Suho.

“What are you doing here?” you asked dropping your salad.

“Shouldn’t I be asking that?” he snickered. And again he was right. You aren’t allowed to eat at the rooms. Now you’re in trouble.

“So you’re gonna tell it to the Disciplinary officer huh?” you sighed, knowing that being the responsible leader he was, he would say yes.

“Actually, I’m gonna let you off the hook, for now.” He walked toward your table and sat in front of you. Now the two of you were face to face, with only the table separating you. You blushed at the thought. You bowed down your head so he won’t notice.

“Why are you going to do that?” you asked shyly.

“I don’t know. Maybe because…” he paused and smiled. “Because you’re special.” He continued.

‘What does he mean “special”?’ you thought. He immediately left the room, and there were you again alone.

What was wrong with these Exo people? Why would they always be there wherever you are? You began to be creeped out by the thought. You just wished it would never happen again.
