We are One...For You

One week passed.

You woke up in the morning. For the past week, you have always been thinking of the ‘horrid’ moments that happened during Valentine’s Day. It just can’t be erased from your mind. On the way to school. The cookies. The piano in the music room. Chen’s troll. The guy you chased. Chanyeol’s jokes. The lunch. The soccer ball. Suho’s question. Tao’s selca. Lay’s and Kris’ words. THEY WERE ALL REAL.

You shook your head. It has also beena week since you completely let them out of your life. Not even daring to lay a single look on them. Completely ignoring them. You just stayed away from them as much as possible. You opened your phone to see that you received the usual Good Morning text from each of them. And as usual, you ignored them.

After minutes of preparing you went downstairs, to meet your parents. And of course, your father ignored you again. You can’t help but think that you’re adopted. He just adds another problem. So you just left the house immediately. Since it was still early, as usual you took the long way around. Just walking, walking on the silent sidewalk.

“Uh! Why is my life so hard?!” you groaned. You seriously don’t know what to do. Why does this fate have to fall on you?

“Shin-hee!” you heard someone call you. You turned around to see D.O. ‘Shit!’ as soon as you saw him, you had no second thoughts, and ran away.

“Shin-hee! Wait.” You hear him chase you. ‘Oh no!’ You give it all to run away from him. Finally you lost him at school. You blended with a huge crowd flocking on the announcement board. Your legs were still shaking from exhaustion. The guy sure did give you a workout.

Still trying to catch your breath, you looked around to see if the coast was clear. But you mentally panicked when you see Sehun and Luhan making its way to the crowd. You looked down so you won’t be recognized and slowly pushed your way out of the group of people.

“Shin-hee? Ith that you” you heard Sehun’s lisp. ‘Oh no! Sehun!’ You pushed whoever was blocking your way.

“Where?” you hear another voice asked him. Now adrenaline rush was on. You started pushing everyone out of your way and finally made your way out of the crowd and without thinking twice, you

You hear footsteps follow you from behind. Finally, seeing the door of your room, you quickly entered. You immediately shut close the door, and watch through the tainted glass Sehun and Luhan looking around to find you.You didn’t dare even making a single noise. You felt cold sweat come out you’re your forehead. Each second felt like a minute. Finally they left.

“Phew! That was close.”You took a sigh of relief.

“Ehem~” you hear someone cough. You turned around to see Suho, Lay, and Chen.

“What are you guys doing here?” you looked at them suspiciously.

“Uh, the question is…What are YOU doing here?” Suho fired back. You raised an eyebrow at him and looked up the doorway to see what room you went into. CLASS 3. ‘Shit! This is not my room.’

“S-sorry.” You bowed down in embarrassment. You felt really embarrassed that you could feel the whole world looking at you. You slowly turned back to leave.

“Wait, Shin Hee.” Lay called you back before you could even walk an inch. You stopped.

“Why are you ignoring us?” he continued. Your mind froze. You really don’t have any legit reason to avoid them. You just have to. Want to. Need to. Your world completely changes when you’re around them. Your mouth wanted to utter a word in reply to them, but your lips couldn’t move an inch. So you just shut them close, and left them like nothing happened.

You finally made it into YOUR room. Yes, you were now pretty sure this is it judging by the sign in the hallway. Opening the door, the faces of the 6 creeps greeted you. ‘What a nice way to start school.’ You thought sarcastically. You just rolled your eyes and walked past them.

“Morning Shin Hee!” Kai greeted cheerfully. You closed your eyes in irritation. ‘Must…Ignore.’ You kept thinking.

You quickly took a seat so you won’t be bothered anymore. Or that’s what you thought. You took out a book, which was given to you by your father on your birthday 4 years, so you can amuse yourself while waiting. The book was really precious to you, since it was the only thing your father has given you your entire life. This was the first time you will read it, because you weren’t so smart enough tounderstand it 4 years ago. You were finally getting caught up with the story, But then Tao started dragging his chair beside you. That annoying screeching sound really didn’t help on your concentration. You just gritted your teeth.

“Shin Hee. Don’t be like this.” He sat beside you and gave you a really pitiful look. You shot him a death glare, and continued reading the book. ‘Resist.’ You kept repeating in your mind. Finally at peace, you felt something land on top of your table. You took a peak, and to your shock, you saw Kris’ feet crossed on your table.

’WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY?!’ You almost lost your cool, but then you remembered that you had to ignore them. You took a few deep breaths, and then flashed a fake smile. ‘Don’t worry. They are just messing up with you.’ You kept thinking. Then finally, he removed his disgusting feet from your desk, and gave a satisfied smirk. ‘About time.’

You checked your watch to see how many more minutes until class starts. 15. You continued reading the book. ‘Ah~ Finally. Peace and quiet.’ You smiled. Just as you thought things will continue that way, you felt your book flying out of your hands. Before you could even catch it, you looked up to see who caught it. Chanyeol. ‘Damn, these guys won’t quit!’

You tried reaching out forit, but the tall guy won’t give it to you. “Ah-“ you stopped. You weren’t supposed to talk to them. You covered your mouth with your hands. And took a deep breath to calm yourself.

“Come on Shin Hee. It’s already been a week. Talk to us!” he raised his arm up in the air to make sure you won’t get it. Now you were pissed off!

“Give it back!” you roared. You couldn’t resist no more and just shouted whatever you had to say.

“Finally you talked.” Kai clapped his hands sarcastically. You saw the others give a satisfied smirk.

“Yeay! Shin Hee talked to us!” Tao celebrated.

“Ok, now that I talked, can you give my book back?!” you looked Chanyeol in the eyes.

“What? This?” he looked at the book on his hand. “Unless you do something for us.” He grinned. You didn’t really care on what he has to say, all you want is to get your precious book back into your arms. It was really important. Sentimental.

“Fine.” You reckoned. You were left with no choice.

“Great. Meet us at the assembly room after class.” Kris whispered while giving you a wink which sent chills to your back. You felt regretting on what you just agreed with them. You mentally slapped yourself. ‘Stupid me.’ Now you had no choice and let time fly away as it reached the end of classes.

Right after classes, you went straight to the assembly room wondering what fate awaits you. As soon as arriving in front of the door, you took a deep breath.

“Don’t worry. Your just here to get your book.” You put it in your mind. You were really tensed.
But before you could even open the door, it opened itself from the inside and a startled Sehun greeted you.

NORMAL P.O.V.

“Where is she?!” Lay groaned in impatience. It’s already been ten minutes and she hasn’t come yet.

“Maybe she ditched us all.” Chen responded, playing with his fingers. A few more minutes passed and the girl they have been waiting for hasn’t arrived yet. Each of them found random stuff to entertain themselves so they won’t get bored. Luhan and Sehun were arm wrestling, Chen was playing with his fingers, Kai and Kris were reading the book which they had took from the girl earlier and the others just fell asleep. Until, finally they can’t take it anymore.

“AH! That’s it. I’m gonna go get her!” Chanyeol roared and started storming out of the room.

“No hyung. I’ll get her.” Sehun insisted. Then opened the door. As soon as he did, the face of Shin Hee met his. He was so shocked that he wasn’t able to utter a single word. He was just there. Standing. Admiring the face of the girl in front of his eyes.

“YEAY! SHE’S HERE!” Chanyeol jumped up and down clapping his hands. Shin Hee gave a weirded out expression.

“Uh, Sh-Shin Hee. H-Hi!” Sehun stuttered. “Welcome.” He motioned his hand to signal she can enter, in which she did. The 12 guys stopped whatever they were doing and fixed heir glances at the girl that entered. Looking at her, observing her. Admiring her.

-YOUR POV-
You bowed down your head as soon as you entered. You were finding it kind of creepy that they were all staring at you like they saw another creature from another planet. You waited for anyone to talk, but everyone’s attention was just directed to you.

“Can I have my book back now?” you coughed. It seems you have broken there dream bubbles.

“Let’s talk first.” Kai stood up and pushed you in a chair.

“Wait. We agreed if I go here I’ll get my book back. There was nothing about talking.” You explained, and stood up.

“No. We talk first.” Kai pushed you down the chair again, this time a bit more forcefully. You groaned in annoyance.

“So, guess who did what during Valentine’s.” Chen commanded.

“And we’ll give you your book back.” Tao added with a smile.

You can’t believe it. ‘Are they really gonna make me do this?!’ You sighed and just did whatever they said.

“Well, on my way to school, I got pinned by this guy. And it was really PAINFUL!” you made sure you said the last word out loud so that whoever did it feel guilty. “I think it was Tao.” You guessed.

“Ain’t me.” Tao denied. Then you furrowed your eyebrows. “Then who was it?”

“Actually, it was me.” Xiumin stood up and admitted. “I saw you pass by my house, so I won’t let the chance slip away.” He bit his lip feeling guilty.

You felt bad on making him feel that way. There was no way you could get angry at this guy. You just gave him an ‘It’s alright’ look, which made him smile.

“Then the cookies at my locker –Kyungsoo?” you said while looking at D.O. in the eyes. Which he returned with a nod.

“Then the ‘Miracles in December’ in the music room. It was Baekhyun.” You stated.

“How did you know?” he was surprised.

‘”You’re the only one who knows my favourite song.” You explained which made everyone giggle at Baekhyun.

“Then, which one of you covered my eyes and made me chase his ass?” you looked at all of them to spot any guilty face. Then you see Kai looking away. You grabbed a pillow and threw it at his face.

“Ok. Ok. I did it.” He finally admitted which made everyone burst out in laughter. Then you shot him a death glare.

“Then, Chen, I thought you have something serious to tell.” You looked at Chen which made him flash a wide smile.

“And Chanyeol your jokes were really cheesy.” You admitted, which he responded with a wink.

“And the idea of the lunch with the flower and note.” you saw Luhan stand up with head down.

“It was kind of sweet.” You continued while giving him a sweet smile as thanks. You saw his face brighten up on hearing your words.

“Thanks. I-I thought you didn’t like it.” He managed to say.

“Then Sehun, you were with the soccer ball.” Sehun just buried his face on a pillow in embarrassment.

“Of course, he always did hit you with one.” Tao added which made everyone fit in laughter.

“How did you know?” you asked Tao suspiciously.

“I always see you hanging out there.” He confessed.

“Oh, so your caption in your selca refers to me.” You giggled.

“And you seriously got me Lay, when you asked me to go with you.” You continued. Lay just responded with a smirk.

“And Kris. Thanks for telling me about…this.” You told him.

“Anything for you.” He replied while tapping your head with his big hands. For some reason, the other guys shot death glares at him. You just shrugged off and stood up so you can leave.

“So…no hard feelings?” Luhan asked you.

“Sure.” You smiled at him. “Just give me my book back.” You demanded.
Everyone in the room smiled.
