[recap] Mark is gone and is now replaced with tears running down my face. Without knowng I had fallen asleep curled in a fetal position, crying my eyes out. Why me?

I woke up with swollen, red eyes. I stumble my way to the bathroom to wash up. After coming out of the bathroom I pack the things that i'll need while staying at the hospital. While packing my things my phone has been ringing nonstop along with text messages. I ignore it knowing who they are from. My mom called me from down stairs asking if I am ready to leave. Right before stepping out of my room, I look at my phone. Would I need this? it is best if I didn't take my phone with me. It is a distraction. I left my phone lying on my bed. Instead, I took my mp3 and sketch book.

I wore a white knee high dress with a pair of pump. My mom and I got inside the car and Mr. Park drove us to the hospital. We got out and went to my doctor's office. I told my mom to go there first because I need to use the restroom. I was walking down the hall when I recognize someone that looks familiar. I know I've seen him before but where. The boy then looks at me, we made eye contact. oh crap, it's Mino. What is he doing here? I pretend to not see him and continue walking. I quickly turn back walking as fast as I could.

These stupid shoes are to high, I can't even walk properly. I could here him calling my name. Just keep walking Jieun, He'll think that it is not you. I then hear foot steps running towards me. Please, please, leave me alone I don't want anyone to see me at a hospital or even ask me why. I turn the corner heading straight for the doctors room. I finally reach his door and was about to open it but he grabs my arm turning me around to look at him. Aish, I'm doom just pretend that you didn't know he call you or even seen him, smile.

"Oh, Mino-oppa, what are you doing here?" I smile

"My grandma fainted that's why I left you yesterday. Didn't you hear me call you? Why are you here?" He ask

"ah, I'm just visiting-" the door suddenly opens

"Honey what took you so long. The doctor said you are getting better, so we don't have to worry." My mom said

"Are you sick?" Mino's eyebrow furrowed

"I have to go." My head hangs low

My mother went back inside the office. i followed her but Mino held me back again. I didn't want to see his face. i ddin't want hane to pity me or even feel sympathy. I tug his hand off of me and went inside. I shut the door close and sat beside my mom. My tears was on the urge of coming down. Stay strong Jieun, Be the happy person everyone knows you are. My head held high, a smile paster on my face. I look at the doctor. He smiles back.

"After getting this treatment, you'll be all better and won't have to worry about it anymore. I promise you be back at school soon and healthier than you are now."

"Nae..."

Both my monther and I left his office. Mino was still standing there when we came out. Still I can't look at him in the eyes and tell him that I am doing fine, that I am not hurt. I went to my ward where my things are placed there already. On my way there, Mino follows me. We both enter my room. I told him to sit while I change into my hospital gown. I lean on the bathroom door and think of what i should say to him before going out there. I gatherd up all my courage.

"Why did you lie to me, are you really sick?" He ask

"uh...Can you not let anyone know about this?" I try changing the subject

"Fine but you have to tell me why you lie."

"Because I just don't want anyone to know, I'll only be gone for a week. It is not a big deal." Well I didn't really lie

"I'll believe you but If you need anything call me, okay?"

"Arasseo, go to school before you are late."

Mino left adn now I have nothing to do. I stood by the window and stare out into the hospital garden. The sun shining bright. When will I be able to get out of here. It hasn't even been long since I have arrive. I walk around this hospital looking into rooms adn just exploring the place. My hand follows along the wall, my feet taking me to places that I have never been to. I was looking down when I look up there was a boy similiar to my age taller than me starring back at me. He smiles and wave at me. Should I wave back? Is he sick too? well, of course since he is wearing a hospital fown as well.

I walk over to him as he took some steps towards me as well. We were standing face to face. He was looking down at me while I was practically looking up to him. When he smile I could see a deep dimple pressed onto his cheek. He leans down evening the height so are eyes are the same level. Something about him just makes me happy and feel healed. I stick my hand out to him.

"Annyeonhasaeyo, Jieun-mnida." I smile

"Oh, Yixing-mnida but you can call me Lay." his yes became cresent

We both got along very quick and share similarities. Lay reminds me of a Unicorn somehow. That is not weird at all right? He has been here for a month already. His room is one floor higher than mine. we both went out to the garden and walked around. There was flowers adn butterlies flying around. There was other patient but they don't seem sad at all. Their faces was showing a smile and nothing else. The peopel that I a surrounded by just gives out a positive vibe. The whole day I spent with Lay seems timeless, It was already getting dark. He sent me to my room and went back to his room. Today doesn't seem bad at all. I think I could stay here for a month. I wash up and crawled innto bed, night falls.

The falling day Mino came and visit me again. after that I had to run some test. I went up to Lay's room. I knock on his door waiting for him to open it. I was about to leave when They door swings open. I slowly walked in but he was nowhere to be found. i looked around but still I couldn't find him. Did the doctor take him? I sat on his bed waiting when I felt someone grab onto my ankle. I screamed and pulled my leg up. I was too scared to look down to see who or what it was. I suddenly hear someone laughing

"Yah! lay that is not funny..." I growl

"Hahaha, you were so scared."

"I'm leaving."

I got off the bed and went out. I stomp my way back to my room. I could tell lay was following me. I turned around to face him. Beacuase I suddenly stop Lay bumped into me. I look up at him and glare. He smiles and rubs my hair, messing it all up. I gently push me aside and entered my ward. I scoff and followed after him. We played some board games and just chatted about life.

While lay and Jieun are chatting and getting closer, a new student is being introduced to the class. The new girl had all eyes on her. all boys falling head over heels for her. She was definitely enjoying all the attention. The teacher led her into the class and she introduced her self.

"Annyeong, Hyeri-mnida please take good care of me."

All the boys was wooing, she chuckles and acted shy. The teacher told her to sit in Jieun's seat since Jieun won't be attending school for a while. Everyone wanted to be her friend. Hyeri had her eyes set on a certain boy in class. She was determain to make him hers. After class ended and it was lunch time, she asked Namjoon to tour her around the school but was declined. She then asked V but he also turned her down.
Mino quickly left before she could ask him. Taehyun gave her the cold shoulder. Mark being the nice guy he is gave her a school tour but she was not satisfied she wanted Namjoon. Since it was lunch time Mino decides to visit Jieun at the hospital making sure non of the other guys followed him. he didn't do such a great job because taehyun followed after him.
