~Your POV~

I couldn’t help but jump on L. It’s not my fault, I was scared and he was my only friend. When I was being kicked I thought I would lose him before we even truly knew each other. As I hugged L, I could feel him patting my head telling me that there’s nothing to be afraid of. I smile but I still couldn’t hold back the tears. After a good 5 minutes of comforting from L, I calmed down. I pulled away from L to see a group of boys staring at us. I felt frightened, I’ve never been surrounded by so many boys before. Or people in general. I grabbed L’s shirt and hid behind him. He just laughs and introduces the boys.
“There’s nothing to be afraid, these are my friends.” I look at them and they just smile at me. They seem.. Nice, I guess. Later on I learned their names; D.O (Kyungsoo), Kai (Jongin), Sehun, Tao (Zitao), Baekhyun, Chen (Jongdae), and Chanyeol. I recognized Chanyeol and Chen, they was in my P.E class and Baekhyun was in my Math class. The others were younger than me by a year or two.
“It’s nice to meet you, I’m Kim Mi Cha. I hope we can be friends!” I bowed and we talked until the bell rang. As we were walking back, Kai asked me something.
“Do you want to hangout with us after school? We’re going to go bowling with some of the other guys who’ve already graduated.” I look at L and he just smiles.
”I wish I could but I’m busy after school. Maybe next time?” The guys were a little disappointed but they didn’t say anything.

--After School--

I was still limping but I managed riding my bike to work. After changing, I heard that the manager was looking for me. When he found me he was staring at my leg.
“What happened to you? Are you okay? Are you sure you can still work? If you can’t, you can take the day off.”
“I’m fine, Manager. You don’t have to worry about me.” I looked at the manager but he still seemed a little wary. “I assure you that I am able to work without problems.”
“No, no.. It’s not that... You don’t have to call me Manager, just call me Xiumin or oppa!” He laughed and gave me a smile, a very welcoming smile. I think I’m going to like it here.
“Okay, Man- I mean, Xiumin.. Oppa.. Well I need to get to work, it was nice talking to you..” I bow and I head to the register.
“Hello, how are you today? What would you like to drink?” I look up to see that it was that boy... What was his name? Ah.. Sungjong!
“Oh! Mi Cha noona, what are you doing here? Doesn’t your leg hurt? You should be resting not working.” I was still speechless..
“Remember me? I’m L’s friend and I brought you to the infirmary.” I finally snap out of it and noticed that Sungjong was staring at me.
“I’m fine, there’s no need to worry and of course I remember you, Sungjong. What brings you here? And thanks again for taking me to the infirmary.”
“No problem. I was just visiting a friend that works here. He’s the manager, maybe you’ve seen him?” Manager? Ah.. He must mean Xiumin.
“Um.. Just wait a sec, I’ll be right back.” I go to the back to find Xiumin.
“Xiumin oppa, your friend is here to see you.”
“Friend? Ah.. Sungjong right? He always comes and visits me. What a nice dongsaeng.” We laugh and walk to the counter.
“Oh! Xiumin hyung!” Sungjong looked at me. “So you two know each other?" I nod and he continues talking, "What time do you guys get off? We should hang out.”
Xiumin checks his watch, “Soon. Mi Cha you get off the same time as me right?” I nod.
“Yes.. But I can’t hang out today.. I still have some stuff to do. Maybe next time.” (A/N: Deja vu anyone? Sorry I couldn’t think of anything else to say)
Sungjong and Xiumin oppa looked kinda sad.. Aish! I wish I didn’t have to work tonight.

After work I went home, showered and got on my bike again to go to my night job.
“Good evening, ahjumma. Ahjussi, how’s your back? Is it still sore? I could do the cooking tonight if you like.”
“No no no, I’m fine Mi Cha. Thank you for asking. Ah! The other two workers had something to do so it’s going to be just you tonight. I hope that’s not going to be a problem.” I smile, shake my head and started working.
“Hwangyonghamnida (Welcome). A table for how many?” I bow.
“Um.. How many of us are there.. A table for 19, I guess.” What?! 19 people? I look up to see L, Sungjong, Chanyeol and the others.
“Omo! Mi Cha you work here too?” Xiumin oppa asked.

~Sungjong’s POV~

Xiumin hyung and I met up with the others after they finished bowling. I heard Sehun’s stomach growl and I suggested we should go eat something.
“Where should we eat?”
“I’m craving some tonkatsu. There’s a restaurant around here that has it, you guys wanna go?” Sungyeol hyung suggested.
Sehun groaned, “But I don’t want to eat tonkatsu..”
“There’s bubble tea there too.”
“Never mind! Let’s go guys!” Man, that guy loves his bubble tea too much.
We went to the place Sungyeol hyung suggested. When we went in, a girl bowed and welcomed us. She looks familiar.. I thought. She got up and I saw her face. It was Mi Cha. I was about to ask her why she was here but Xiumin hyung beat me to it.
“Omo! Mi Cha you work here too?” L looked at Xiumin hyung with a confused expression.
“Xiumin hyung, you know Mi Cha? And what did you mean by ‘work here too’?”
“Ah.. I forgot to tell you. Mi Cha works at Starbucks with me.”
“Is that true Mi Cha?” For some reason L looked a little hurt. Is he jealous or a little upset that we didn’t tell him?
Mi Cha started to explain, “Yeah.. I was going to te-” But Sehun cut her off.
“Yah! I’m starving to death right now! Can we do the explaining AFTER we eat something?” Aish! Sehun you’re so rude sometimes. You just want your bubble tea, I know you do.
“Ah! Yes, sorry.” Mi Cha led us to our table. “Sorry, we don’t have a table big enough for all of you to sit together. I hope you don’t mind.”
“No it’s fine.” L said and smiled at Mi Cha. She smiled back. Is there something going on between those two? We ordered out food, ate and Sehun finally got his bubble tea. Mi Cha came back with some fruits.
“Thanks. Mi Cha let me introduce you to some of the others.” I heard L say.
“This is Kris, Suho, Luhan and Lay.” The guys waved at her and she bowed.
Woohyun was sitting beside me so I decided to join their conversation.
“Noona! This is Woohyun and Hoya. Over there is Dongwoo and Sunggyu. There’s one more guy but I don’t know where he went.. Ah there he is! Sungyeol hyung, come over here!”

Notes

I started using 'Oppa' 'Hyung' and 'Noona' so I hope I didn't confuse you guys. But I don't feel like using them for every character so it'll only be for some. I changed the summary a little bit because I think this story is not going in the direction I thought it would be going when I first started writing this fanfic. So yeah.. Thanks for reading!
