Kyungsoo’s back is facing Jongin’s back. And he curses because this is the first time he cannot sleep comfortably. Jongin has slept two times in his room but why does he feels awkward just now? Kyungsoo moves side by side and he doesn’t know that there is someone who is annoyed by it.

“Stop moving , will you?!” Jongin suddenly says and Kyungsoo freezes. He doesn’t know that Jongin is still awake. Kyungsoo clears his throat and apologizes. And silence eats them up again, and awkwardness.

Jongin doesn’t know why he’s in this place right now. Yes, he didn’t reject Kyungsoo but… he still doesn’t have an answer and what that is supposed to mean? Is it stupid? Jongin thinks it is stupid because it’s just a simple syllable yes or no… he cannot answer ‘maybe’ because maybe means that you’re not deciding for yourself. It’s not a decision. Jongin knows that it is not.

Jongin looks outside the window from his position on the bed. And he sees the moonlight shining through the peek on Kyungsoo curtains. He cannot predict what time is it now. But he’s sure that Kyungsoo is still awake. Because he is humming right now…

Jongin rolls his eyes at the sarcasm of the song. Kyungsoo just told him before going to sleep to ust tell him everything tomorrow, but with this song, Jongin thinks it’s the otherwise. He sighs and starts his story…

“I have a happy family.” And Kyungsoo stops from his humming. He doesn’t know that Jongin is still awake. He turns his head to look at Jongin, but he only sees his back. Jongin continues, “I am the only child of my parents.”

Jongin doesn’t know why he is telling Kyungsoo everything. Does he think that Kyungsoo can help him with his problems? He wants to protect Kyungsoo, right? Then telling his story will only put Kyungsoo in danger. Urgh, what is he thinking?

Thinking about what will happen, Jongin ends his story. “That’s all.” And Kyungsoo’s sight blackens. He wrinkles his eyes at what the fuck did Jongin tell him. He starts to hit Jongin with his pillows.

“What the fuck is that Jongin?!!! That’s all?!! I don’t believe you!” Kyungsoo hits Jongin. And Jongin winces at how Kyungsoo moves like he’s an invertebrate animal. Jongin tells Kyungsoo to stop but Kyungsoo definitely won’t.

Jongin now shouts, “But I have no one now. They’re gone! They’re gone!” Jongin suddenly says which makes Kyungsoo stop hitting him. Kyungsoo sits straight up and Jongin doesn’t know if he’ll still continue with his story.

But with Kyungsoo’s ears listening to him, he continues, “My mother left me when my father died…” and Jongin chokes when he can still remember how his father told him to hide on his closet when the members of that organization barged in their house.

“I didn’t do anything to protect my father…” and Jongin covers his eyes as the past flashes back before his eyes. He feels like guilt is eating him when he witnessed how those sharks punched, hit, and slapped his father through the little hole in the closet.

“They killed him…” Kyungsoo starts to rub Jongin’s back when Jongin states what happened to his father. Jongin can still see how the sharks shot his father with the guns they have in their hands that time. He can still remember how he covered his mouth so that the members won’t hear his cries and gasps as he watched the death of his father helplessly like a log inside that closet.

“Then my mother left me… she didn’t even bid me goodbye, she just left me with the pool of my father’s blood…” Jongin wrinkles his eyes at his fucking mother. At how she just left him with his father’s dead body. At how she left him nothing but pain and the death of his father.

Kyungsoo mumbles I’m sorry repeatedly because he doesn’t know that Jongin has this sadder life than his. Jongin really has the reason; Jongin has the reason not to smile all the time. And Jongin has the reason to hate the world for his life.

Jongin continues his story, “Then I was sent to an orphanage to be cared of since I have no one that time.” Kyungsoo nods as he thinks of Jongin and Jehee. Jongin states, “And there I met Oh Sehun…”

And Kyungsoo freezes. Hearing how Jongin mumbles the name, Kyungsoo suddenly feels uneasy, or jealous. He knows that this man, that this Oh Sehun is a big part of Jongin’s life too.
“He’s the only one I have when I am in that orphanage. We are at the same age; he’s younger than me for months only. He changed my sad life into a serious but happy one. There I found my happiness. He was the reason why I started to smile, again.”

And Kyungsoo knows it. Oh Sehun is Kim Jongin’s first love. He nods but he feels a lump forming in his throat and it sucks. He doesn’t know what to say but nothing, “But he disappeared…” and Jongin starts to cry again. “He disappeared when I told him my story. I don’t know why Kyungsoo. I don’t know how he disappeared that instant. He hugged me that time, he loved me that night. But he disappeared the day after. Kyungsoo…” and Jongin suddenly holds Kyungsoo which startles him.

Kyungsoo thinks that Jongin is panicking because his eyes are really scared and puffed, and this is the first time Kyungsoo sees this. “Kyungsoo Kyungsoo!! I’m afraid… I’m afraid!!!” Jongin shouts and shakes Kyungsoo like Jongin has gone out of mind. Kyungsoo doesn’t know what to do, so he just hugs Jongin even though Jongin is still in panic. “Kyungsoo I’m afraid!! Don’t disappear please…” Jongin begs and Kyungsoo softens.

Kyungsoo rubs Jongin’s hair and back to make him feel safe, to make him feel comfortable. “I won’t disappear…” Kyungsoo whispers to make Jongin feel better.

Jongin continues, “I’m afraid you might disappear too when I tell you all of this… I’m afraid!! Kyungsoo, don’t leave. Promise me…” Jongin doesn’t want to make promises because he thinks that every promise will just be broken.

But Jongin doesn’t know why but he thinks he must make Kyungsoo promise so he’ll feel relieved that Kyungsoo won’t leave him like the others did to him. Jongin cannot hear Kyungsoo saying yes. But he can feel that Kyungsoo nods above his head so he hugs the smaller one by the waist. He won’t let go.

Kyungsoo holds the younger and fragile one in his arms. He hugs Jongin tighter because it is all Jongin needs for now. His presence, his care and tender, anyone can do this to Jongin so Jongin can feel safe. But Kyungsoo thinks he’s perfect for it. “Promise me you’re not going to leave. Don’t disappear please.” Jongin pleads for the last time.

Kyungsoo lets Jongin sleep in his arms. At least this way, he protected Jongin from the pain he feels tonight, right? Even with this small presence of his, at least Jongin know that Kyungsoo is always here for him, right? Kyungsoo wishes it is.

Tao is now walking on the street going to the restaurant he always goes whenever this time of the night. It’s almost 10 in the evening. He looks around for someone suspicious but he walks in the restaurant when danger is not seen.

Tao immediately goes to the counter of the restaurant to take his order and he sits on the table farthest from the people. He wants peace for now. How long can he wait for Kyungsoo to tell everything he knows to Jongin? Tao doesn’t know because everytime he sees that Jongin guy, he cannot help but to break a million of times knowing that Kris’ father killed Jongin’s father.
Tao is being eaten by guilt because he feels like he was the reason why Mr. Kim was killed. And he was the reason why Sehun disappeared. Can he just die right here right now? And thus, his appetite dies.

He throws his head back getting tired as each day passes by, Kyungsoo has only days or weeks to settle this. Gosh, don’t leave me here Kyungsoo hyung. Tao sighs and complains.
The door’s bell rings and Tao isn’t one who really cares about who enters the room but he doesn’t know why this time, he looks at the person who enters the room. And just fuck his life.

Everything goes back to him. the pain, struggles, cries, curses, and memories they had go back to him right now that it hurts. Tao gulps as he takes in the guy’s features in his eyes. Their eyes eventually meet, if Tao is selfish, he would hug him and would go back to him, but no. just no, many lives has changed because of them.

Tao stands up from his seat suddenly and goes out of the place, pretending that he cannot hear the other one’s deep voice calling his name. Kris then runs after Tao and stops the loved one from running away again.

“Tao please…” Kris begs but Tao shakes his head. “Just stop Kris. Stop, I’m fine now and please, stop bothering me.” Tao doesn’t dare to look at Kris because he might not take it.

“I did it for you.” Kris tells the truth but Tao doesn’t know why he can’t trust those five words. “And I am not working in my father’s company Tao because you’re not with me.”

And there Tao hears it, and misinterprets it, “So when I’m with you, you’ll work under him. Just the hell no Kris.” And Tao pulls his hand away but Kris pulls it again and hugs Tao from behind, whispering the words Tao wants to hear everytime he sees his friends in the café and restaurant being sweet to each other. And Tao is indeed, jealous to them.

Tao fights his urge to cry, he bites his lips and tells Kris to just move on because their relationship won’t work because they’re not meant for each other. But Kris opposes, but Tao opposes to, “I am getting rid of your company Kris, tell me what is the good thing about that?!!!” Tao shouts at Kris.

“I don’t own any company Tao. if I do, I should’ve caught Kyungsoo and Kim Jongin by now. But Tao, I always see them but nothing wrong is going on with them, please trust me Tao.” Kris pleads and Tao is struck.

“Y-you know Kim Jongin?!” Tao breaks the hug and Kris nods. Tao gulps and he definitely needs to protect the two, “Now that I learned it, I really have to get rid of you so you won’t be able to touch Mrs. Kim’s son!” Tao shouts at Kris and Kris shakes his head.

“No, I won’t do that Tao. I am not doing that. So please please, come back to me.” Kris cries and Tao just shakes his head, not trusting anything Kris has said, “You fucking killed his father!!” And there Kris is struck. He’s a criminal now in Tao’s eyes, isn’t he? Can he die right now?

Now that Jongin is afraid that Kyungsoo might disappear, he knows now why he keeps on visiting that café and restaurant now with all of the shouts, curses, and noises made by everyone in the place. Jongin is in his usual state, sitting on the chair in his table which is placed on the corner away from the noisy counter.

As well as Kyungsoo, he still teases Jongin and he still knows that Jongin is annoyed at him. And Kyungsoo is happy about that, because that indicates that they are in their normal state and nothing changes despite the things that have happened yesterday.

Uhm, no. well, there is something that has changed since yesterday. The one in the counter and the person who is glaring daggers at the one in the counter. Suho and Chen.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol are whispering to each other of what happened with the two while Kyungsoo asks Chen and Suho straightforwardly at what the hell happened between the two. Because fights are not allowed in this place, as Kyungsoo knows and it is made by the one and only manager, the Kim JunMyeon.

“You said that no fights are allowed in this place, yet you are the one who intiated one.” Kyungsoo scolds Suho in front of Chen and everyone. Chen looks at Kyungsoo and curses him for being a fucker who goes in between their fight.

“Well, it’s allowed now from now on.” Suho stubbornly says then Chen makes a face that is immediately slapped by Kyungsoo. And that startles everyone.

“Why did you do that?! you don’t care why---“ Chen shouts at Kyungsoo but Kyungsoo cuts him off. “Shut up. Since the manager allows us to fight with each other, let me slap you or hit you because you’ve done so many things to me. And it is just my time to return those to you.” Chen suddenly goes silent afterwards.

Kyungsoo crosses his arms on Chen and scolds Chen, “But tell me, why did you two fight with each other? Did you reject Suho? Or he rejected you?” Kyungsoo says and that startles the two. They both shout a no but their faces go wild with red colour which answers Kyungsoo and everyone in the place. And that makes them smile because of the hidden answer.

Kyungsoo then thinks it’s settled because he thinks that it is really the reason why these two had a fight. He rolls his eyes because they can just say sorry to each other and kiss and make up and oh there are new visitors in this world.

Kyungsoo lightens up when he sees the people who are coming and Jongin’s eyes almost pop out from its sockets when he sees a baozi and a unicorn by the door of the café and restaurant.
Everyone looks at them and they sheepishly smile and think why the hell they still came here.

“Xiumin!! Lay!!” Kyungsoo greets and shouts which makes the two a little comfortable to where they are now. They are sitting in the table where is a little too close to Jongin that they can see Jongin’s cold back.

Xiumin waves at Kyungsoo and asks him what they are going to do in this place. Kyungsoo smiles cutely and tells them like it is some of a secret, “Let me welcome you in my world.” He winks at the two and drags them in the middle of the crowd.

Xiumin fidgets in his place and is a little shy at the attention he is gaining right now. Kyungsoo holds the microphone and everyone listens, “Uhm, may I excuse myself for some time guys?
Let’s welcome them!!” he gestures to the people beside him and everyone greets them with a smile. They return the smile back but they really don’t fucking know why Kyungsoo has to introduce tem in front of these people.

“I’m Kim MinSeok… Xiumin a--“

“Baozi!” someone suddenly calls. Xiumin looks at the person and he sees a giant. He smiles at him and nods. He calls himself a “Yes, baozi.” And everyone laughs but Xiumin doesn’t know why he feels comfortable with their laughs.

And it’s Lay’s turn now, he really doesn’t know what to say after his introduction at his name, “My name is Zhang YiXing, but you can call me Lay. And I am a Chinese.” And with that, someone giggles and celebrates.

He stands up and goes to Lay and introduces himself too, “OMO… I am a Chinese too. I’m Huang ZiTao. Tao Tao.” He cheerfully introduces and Lay smiles at the childishness.
Seeing Lay’s smile, everyone coos and giggles at how cute and adorable Lay’s dimples are.
Then Kyungsoo holds the microphone and asks Lay to play with them since Lay brings a guitar with him. Because Kyungsoo tells that he has got a job for Lay and it’s a coincidence that it is related to music.

The people instantly cheers for them and Lay goes to the counter to get a chair. The chair is given by Suho and he gives the shorter one a smile. Chen then gives him a glare and when Lay is playing the music, Chen drags Suho somewhere to, you know… to settle something that he and Suho only know.

Because he’s fucking hard. It’s fucking hard right now that all he sees is Suho everywhere when before, he can see nothing but things that are beyond this world. Or maybe now that he realizes it, Suho is something that is beyond that world. Or maybe, Suho is his world. Chen doesn’t know.

Chen locks the door behind Suho and traps him between his arms while Suho is still giving him a death glare. He rolls his eyes at what Chen is doing right now. “Let me go Chen.” He says harshly and is about to open the door behind him when Chen moves closer towards him. Suho suddenly gulps at the sudden closeness and just tells Chen that he is not attracted to Lay.

Chen nods and agrees, “You should be, because you’re mine.” Chen rather warns Suho with that loud and whole voice of his. Suho rolls his eyes, “Oh, I cannot remember that I agree---“ and there Chen attacks Suho with his lips.

And Suho instantly pushes Chen away, he almost shouts at Chen even though this flushing feelings are killing him, “Yah! What was that for? Are you possessed by a spirit?!” Suho glares at him.

Chen raises an eyebrow to Suho, “You’re not mine? Okay!!” and Chen bangs the door behind Suho which makes Suho jump in surprise and gulp in fear, “But I swear on gods, spirits, and nature Kim JunMyeon, you will be mine!!” Chen is determined.

And Suho can see that, he lifts his chin up and challenges Chen, “Is that a threat?”

“No, more like a confession.” And he doesn’t know why he sinks in his own challenge when Chen says that. Suho should be pushing Chen away because Chen kisses him recklessly but hell, he doesn’t know why he closes his eyes and returns the kisses Chen is giving him.
Lay looks at everyone’s smiling faces at his expertise in playing guitar and Kyungsoo and Chanyeol’s duet. Xiumin is being entertained by Tao knowing that Xiumin lived in China before.

Jongin is not in this world right now, because he fucking curses everyone because Kyungsoo is not sparing him a glance while singing the song he doesn’t mind. He rolls his eyes and tends to go away from that place but he doesn’t want. He’s afraid the Kyungsoo might disappear.

Baekhyun then is startled at the sudden but soft slam of the door made by Chen who is holding Suho by the hand. He looks at how tight it is and realizes something now that he has noticed the red plump lips of the two and the breathing that cause him to think something. He smiles and gives a look at the two because he and Chanyeol haven’t done that one. Because Baekhyun is so understanding that it disappoints Chanyeol sometimes. And yes, Baekhyun can feel it.

Then someone suddenly calls in his phone and it is from an unknown number. He pouts at the number but he answers it since the song is close to its end and he is greeted by a voice coming from someone he’s familiar with. “Baekhyunnie!~” the voice greets.

And his pout instantly changes into a big smile now that he realizes who is calling. He is about to greet the caller but the caller continues, “I’ll be coming home soon. I got the news… I’ll be coming home to see Kyungsoo.” The caller’s voice suddenly becomes sweet when he mumbles Kyungsoo’s name.

Then Baekhyun wrinkles his eyes as if he can see it, “Yah so you’re only coming home because of Kyungsoo?” and he places his free hand on his waist like he is scolding the younger one.

The voice laughs wholeheartedly because it is really Baekhyun, “Okay okay, I’ll be visiting all of you.” he wants to end the conversation and it is easily given to him.

Baekhyun smiles as he saves the contact in his phone immediately. Chanyeol suddenly becomes curious at why Baekhyun is smiling, he pouts as he reads the contact. Baekhyun is startled at the deep voice of his boyfriend. He turns around to be met by two jealous eyes.

He smiles at Chanyeol and pinches his cheeks, “Don’t worry. It’s our long lost bestfriend.” Baekhyun giggles as he sees in Chanyeol’s eyes the hesitation to believe him. So he turns to Kyungsoo who is confronting the stubborn Jongin in the corner of the place.

He drags Chanyeol to the two to disturb the two from their fight and tells the news to Kyungsoo, “Hey, he will come home.” Baekhyun says. Jongin looks at Baekhyun and Kyungsoo to know who they are talking about, because Kyungsoo’s smile turns into a heart-shaped one which makes Jongin suspect at who this person is.

Kyungsoo cannot believe that his bestfriend will come home soon. But Baekhyun tells him that assures that it is not a dream or some kind of shit, “Because he got the news.” Baekhyun suddenly pouts because Kyungsoo will be gone in two weeks or less.

Jongin gives Kyungsoo a glare to know what Baekhyun is talking about but Kyungsoo doesn’t look at him that whole time until Chanyeol shouts when he sees someone familiar coming in the café and restaurant, “OMO!! Sehunnie!”

Everyone instantly looks at the one who is coming in the room. Jongin freezes in place as he takes in the presence of the guy who is turning his way. Kyungsoo looks at Jongin’s startled state… he suddenly feels weird when he sees the glint of longing and tears in Jongin’s eyes which Jongin doesn’t give him. Even once.
