One True Love

~Roxanne's P.OV~
The journey to the hospital seemed like a blur. I could hardly remember anything. All I remember is us sitting there and staring at grandma, praying that she would get better soon. We just couldn't accept anything, reality. This was too cruel. We're now waiting outside a room, while En is being asked questions and he's just answering them lifelessly. JB is sitting next to me, holding my hand tightly, which I'm grateful for. Then snap. I looked to my left to see someone taking pictures of me and JB holding hands but I'm too scared to let it bother me. Right now, the only thing that matters to me is that grandma gets better. After what seemed like forever, the doctor finally came out. We all stood up and he looked over to us sadly. " You're her family?" He asked. En said yes. "I'm afraid she isn't in the best of conditions right now. She is in a coma right now. Her life is in danger right now. She's entering Stage 4 cancer and we honestly have no idea how long she's going to stay strong for. But we promise to try our best. Please don't give up." He told us. " Is there hope?" I asked, my voice cracking. He smiled sadly at me. " Very little I'm afraid." I flopped my body in the chair and buried my face in my hands. I could hear footsteps walking away. Then silence. For 5 and then 10. Then my phone rang. JB handed me the phone and I went outside to take it. " Manager-"
"Roxy, it's CL."
"What's wrong unnie?"
"What do you mean what's wrong? Nothing's wrong with us. We were worried about you. Are you okay? Are you ill?"
"I'm not ill." I replied.
"Then why are you in the hospital?" She asked.
"How do you know I'm at the hospital?" I asked.
"There are pictures of you all over the internet." She said, "I saw it and called you"
"Don't worry, I'm fine. I'll call you back unnie." I said and we said our goodbyes. Then I recieved a message.
~From: Sehun~
Is this how we end?
Below there was a picture of me and JB holding hand but you could barely make him out, partly because it ws blurred and partly because I was blocking him with my body. Oh god, he's mad. I thought. I immediately called him and it went straight to voicemail. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. I went back to see En sitting on the floor and JB on the seat. Both seemed lost in their own world. I sat down next to JB, giving En some time to recover. Then footsteps could be heard. The person was running and then it stopped. I looked up to see Kai. He was breathing heavily. He was all sweaty from the running he did and his hair was messy. I stood up and he just walked upto me and engulfed me into a tight hug. I buried my face in his chest which was warm. I cried my eyes out and hit his chest, but he took all of it. He just stood there, holding me. "Why?" I cried out loud and he just hushed me gently. "It's going to be allright." It was as if by magic, with his voice, I felt calmer. We broke apart and sat on the bench. We stayed there for about 10 minutes. Then finally En decided to go in the room. We waited outside but we could barely make out what he was saying. I put my head on Kai's shoulder and closed my eyes, praying that she would wake up soon. I opened my eyes when I felt my legs being lifted from the ground. Kai was carrying me. "Where are we going?" I asked, flustered.
"The guys said you should go home and rest now. You dozed off." He smiled slightly. But I refused. "I don't want to go!" I started moving about but he had a firm hold of me. "Roxy, you should get some rest." He said firmly but softly at the same time. We finally reached his car and before I could protest anymore, he put me in the car and did my seat belt. I was going to protest and get out of the car but I didn't move. Then, I realized how exhausted I was. I didn't have any energy left in my body. Then Kai got in the driver's seat and looked over at me. "What?" I asked, my eyelids suddenly started to get heavier. He stroked my hair lovingly and gave a small smile. "Nothing." He whispered. Then he put on some quiet music which made me close my eyes. "Be careful Jongin." I whispered to him and I could hear him say "Don't worry" before my body decided to shut down. The next time I woke up was when I felt someone lifting me up. I opened my eyes to see Kai, again. I looked around to see that we'd arrived in the appartment building. "I can walk by myself now." I said and he put me down. "Thank you for being there for me today Jongin." I smiled. He nodded. We walked upto the appartment door and knocked. Chanyeol came to open the door. He opened his mouth to say something but thought better of it and closed his mouth straight away. Then he opened his mouth again. "You look tired. Get some rest." And stepped aside for me to enter. Till this moment, I was still leaning against Kai for support, his arms around my shoulders. Then as soon as we entered the living room, everyone's eyes were on us. Then Sehun got up and walked away to his room. I tried to follow him but I just stumbled and nearly fell on the floor when Kai caught me again, causing me to regain my balance again. Bryan got up and said "Don't you daare bother us." in a threatening voice and then lifted me up and took me to my room. He sat on the bed and pulled my body on top of his. He then rocked me gently and I cried again. This time because of Sehun. "Noona, don't cry." He said in a soothing voice. " Sehun is just being a brat."
"Bryan" I managed to say between sobs. " Tell Sehun I didn't do it. He was my friend and I needed support at that time. I was going through such a bad time." I said, remembering gran and crying again.
~Sehun's P.O.V~
I know I shouldn't be doing this but for some reason, I felt like Roxy has a reasonable explanation for this, so here I am, outside her door. I can hear crying. I feel so guilty. Then I heard her say that she was going through a hard time. I opened the door and went in. Bryan and Roxy both looked up. Bryan's look sent daggers in my direction where as Roxy's was surprise. Her eyes were all puffy and she had dark circles, but it didn't matter to me because I couldn't understand how she could still look beautiful while crying. "Bryan, could you go out for a minute please?" He refused at first but when Roxanne said "It's okay Bryan, go out.", he did. We just stayed there in silence for about a minute. Then I finally gathered up the courage to talk to her. " I'm sorry." I said. She looked up at me, her eyes all watery. I went to her and gave her a long hug. She just stayed still. She didn't hug me back but I guess it's better than pushing me away. "I'm sorry" I repeated and kissed her cheeks. Then moved onto her eyes, nose, lips (Haha Taeyang), forehead and neck. She sighed and said "I didn't do it. I didn't cheat on you. I- He was a friend and I-" But I cut her off. " I'm sorry for not trusting you and for not listening to you before I got mad." And she ran her hands through my hair and pulled me closer. "It's okay." She whispered and put her forehead against mine. "I guess it's my fault too... I haven't really had much time for you."
"It's same for me." I said softly." I miss you so much Roxy. It's so unfair. We hardly have time for eachother." I said and pulled her in for a hug.
We sat like that in silence. Not an awkward one but a comfortable one. Then she finally said " I need water." With that, I ran out of the room and came back with a glass of cold water. She drained the glass down and laid back on the bed. I laid down next to her and put an arm around her waist. She didn't resist, instead she came closer and put her head on my chest. Then I said something to her I felt I should have said a long time ago. " I love you Rose Roxanne."

Anyway, I thought this was actually quite good *pats myself*
Let me know how this was. I've got like a big idea about what to write for the next chapter. or it maybe the one after this but hehe
