One True Love

~Roxanne's P.O.V~
We reached the camp and started setting our tents up in our groups. I let Ray set up my tent because I had to go collect firewood with Kai as my punishment. We left towards the wood and started picking up bits of sticks that were on the floor. It was very awkward as we didn't really know what to say because of the incident that happened earlier on. I just kept picking up bits of sticks, not really bothered by the fact that I felt Kai's eyes on me. I turned around to see Kai had not really gathered any sticks.
"Kai.. where are your sticks?" I asked him.
"I was too busy looking at you that I forgot that I had to pick up sticks." He said not taking his eyes off me. I sighed and passed him the sticks I collected. "Take these for the time being so that you don't get in trouble. I'll collect more in a minute." I said. He nodded and said Thanks.
I picked up a reasonable amount of wood and we both left towards our site. There we saw everyone still focused on putting their tents up, most moaning about how tired they were because of all the travelling. I rolled my eyes. Well atleast you won't have to cook and do the dishes or had to collect the firewood. I left all the firewood next to where the fire should be and left Kai so that he could work on the fire. I went to find D.O. I found him sitting inside his tent, reading.
"Kyungsoo oppa..." I started.
"Wae?" He asked not taking his eyes off the book.
"How do I cook rice?" I asked him. Yeah, I don't know how to cook.
"Erm, in the rice cooker" He stated as a matter of factly.
"We don't have any rice cookers here?" I asked him.
" Oh right I forgot we were here. Erm use the fire and ......." He went on and on and on about how to cook it. I put a D.O face on. "What? How do I do it?" I asked him, clearly confused. He sighed. "I'm sorry. I don't know how to cook, I thought maybe you could help me but it's okay, I'll find someone else..." I replied, disappointed.
"Fine, I'll come. Don't give me the disappointed face."
I smiled. "Yay! Thank you oppa!" And we both walked towards the "kitchen". He told me what to do which were mainly things like "pass the salt " and " cut the tomatoes please." I felt pretty much useless in the kitchen but I couldn't leave him because he was helping me. After we were done, everyone came out of their tents and sat around the fire and we started giving them out their foods. They finished eating and I walked towards this place where there was a tap so I could do the washing up. I was starting to do the dishes when someone came up to me. " You know technically it's my punishment too, so I'll help you." That voice said. I recognised it immideately. " It's okay Jongin, I've got this, besides just go and help the others clean up." I replied back.
"No" He said stubbornly and took my hands and washed them. I snatched my hands back. " Don't touch me Kai." I said after giving him a death glare. " Okay, I'm sorry. But at least tell me why you're mad at me now? Haven't we made up already?" He asked, giving the tiniest of smriks.
"Back off Kai, seriously. It's not so easy for a girl to forgive someone when she's deeply hurt. And also you not only slept with someone else, but it had to be Soo Young didn't it? Was she much better than me? You can't expect me to forgive you Kai. One kiss isn't going to make the pain go away and why did you even save me? And you thought I would forgive you if you did? You are so unbelieveable." I just let all my anger out on him. Kai just stayed quiet.
~Kai's P.O.V~
Okay, that hurt a lot. I'm not sure if it was meant to but it did. And it feels like I am trapped in this world where I think she will come back but she isn't. She's like the air to my world and without her, I'm suffocating. I need her. I need to hold her. I need to kiss her. I need to protect her. God, I am such an idiot. I never thought that the kiss we kissed this morning would make us up. But I had to take the risk and ask her. I don't know what to do anymore. I just-- All I want is for her to come back to me. Roxanne, I'm sorry. I want to say the things I think to you but I just can't because I'm just a coward and I can't do it.
~Sehun's P.O.V~
After dinner I was on my way to help Roxanne noona do the dishes, but I saw her and Kai talking, again. I waited for Kai to go but I ended up listening to their conversation, again. He cheated on her? What? Is he out of his mind?? She was kidnapped? Why didn't I go and save her? Stupid Sehun, you were in dreamland at that time. Anyway Kai went to save her without telling us first? He doesn't have the right. And how dare he kiss her! She's mine. Well... not yet, I'm going to make her mine. And Plus Kai doesn't even treat her right. I mean why on earth would you cheat on such a beautiful girl?
Kai hyung bowed to Roxanne and left. Even his footsteps looked sad. I feel sorry for you hyung. But I'm sorry, I'm going to have to steal noona from you. I walked up to Roxanne noona.
~Roxanne's P.O.V~
After Kai left, I just continued doing the dishes, tears threatening to fall out of my eyes. That was when I felt a presence behing me. Kai again? I turned around and I expected it to be Kai.. but I saw the cutest and the shyest ( Is that a word? o.o) boy. He looked at me straight in the eyes and all his shyness went. His face was now filled with worry and anger? I wasn't sure but he just pulled me into a hug. And that was all I needed at that moment, some comfort. I just closed my eyes and took a deep breath. He smelt wonderful.
"Noona, don't cry. I hate seeing you like this." Sehun said his voice breaking. I looked up to see tears in his handsome face. " Why are you crying Sehunnie?" I asked putting my face back in his warm chest. His hands were playing with my hair. "I just don't like seeing you like this. You don't deserve all this. You didn't deserve Kai hyung." He said. I pulled my head away from his chest but he just put out his hand and stopped me from doing that. He held my head. " Noona, just listen to what I have to say okay?" He pleaded and I nodded. I could hear him sigh. " I'll just get straight to the point. I think I like you noona. I like your personality, i love how you care about other people and most of all I love how strong you are. Yeah you moan about things some times- scratch that most the times but I love how you never give up. And I promise you if you give me a chance you will never regret it. I loved you the moment you bought me two bubble teas instead of one and trust me when I say this but I like you more than bubble tea. Just-- I need to get this straight, noona do you like me the way I like you?"
~Sehun's P.O.V~
I asked her but I got no reply. I looked down at her face and she was sleeping. I smiled. She looked beautiful. I was going to finish doing the dishes for her but then i didn't really know where to put her and laying her down on the floor would be too harsh, so I woke her up. " Noona, Noona wake up." I whispered and her eyes fluttered open.
"Oh, sorry sehunnie. I'm so tired that I fell asleep. I should do the dishes now." she said and I nodded. I waited next to her, helping her put the dishes away. When she was finished, I held out my hand to her and she took it. When our hands made contact it was as if an electric shock was running up and down my arms. It was a sensational feeling. " Let's go and watch the stars huh? You feel tired don't you? You'll be completely relaxed, I promise.." I said to her and she smiled slightly and nodded.
Little did they know that Kai was sitting by the fire, all alone and he couldn't help but over hear their conversation.
Me and noona walked and found a spot that we can see the moon and stars clearly under a huge oak tree. I lied down on my back and she put her back against the tree. I watched her admire the scenery but I was just taking her in. Her elegant features defined by the moonlight. " You were right." She suddenly said out of no where. " Huh?" I asked suddenly snapping out of my thoughts. She looked at me, and gave me a beautiful smile. " You were right." She looked back up the stars. " It's beautiful. This is incredible." She smiled. I just kept looking at her. " Yeah, beautiful." She thought I was talking about the stars but i really was talking about her. I sat up and told her to turn around. She did as I said and I started massaging her shoulders. She sighed. it was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard in my life. Her eyes were closed, her body completely relaxed. I had never seen her so relaxed. I smiled at the thought. " What?" She asked. " Huh?" I asked.
"I can tell that you're smiling. Why?" She asked.
" I've never seen you like this, so relaxed, or happy." I said continuing to massage her. She hummed in response. " This is nice, getting away from the city for a while, forgetting about my worries and all the stress for a while." She said. I back hugged her and she leaned back unconciously, as if it was a reflex. To be honest, I wasn't really conplaining. I buried my face in her hair that smelt like raspberry. I closed my eyes and just kept breathing her scent in. It was so addicting. It was quiet, not an awkward but a comfortable one. I stayed like that until I heard deep breaths. I opened my eyes to see Roxanne noona fast asleep. I smiled. This lady sleeps anywhere, anytime. I softly kissed her head, careful not to wake her up. " Noona, Wait for me. I'll make you mine okay?" I softly whispered to her knowing that she won't hear me. She moved in her sleep and her lips landed on mine accidentally. My eyes widened at the sudden contact and I just froze. Her lips were so soft, but I knew this was wrong. I shouldn't do this while she's asleep. Control yourself Sehun. I carried her back to the tent. Man, I have no idea how the people in the movies do it, they make it seem so easy. She wasn't heavy, she seemed normal weight, it's just that I'm not really used to carrying girls. I put her in her sleeping bag and she stirred in her sleep again. I smiled and kissed her forehead. " Good Night noona. Sweet dreams." I whispered and got out of her tent and went into mine.
