One True Love

~James's P.O.V~
I was talking to Harmonie and we heard a scream. It sounded like.... " Roxanne?!" We both screamed at the same time. We jumped from our seats ( literally) and ran towards the exit. On our way, we bumped into EXO. I just ran past them but I guess Harmonie got caught. I saw Baekhyun trying to make a conversation with her and I knew she couldn't resist them, so I went over, grabbed her by the arm and we both started running leaving a very confused EXO behind us. But despite of this, I think it was Kai, Kris and Chanyeol running with us as if they sensed danger. When we were running, we heard another scream. I let go of Harmonie's arm because she was getting tired and I started to run even faster. I turned around the corner and saw that I reached there just in time.
~Roxanne / Your P.O.V~
I turned aroung to see a bunch of boys looking at me as if I were a piece of meat. I guess the " leader" of that mini-gang , took a step towards me which immediately caused me to take a step back. This kept happening until he pushed me so hard against the wall. I screamed in pain. I looked around helplessly not knowing what to do. Then the other guys came towards me. One of them yanked my hair and the other one caught both my hands behind my back. Then the first guy came towards me with a devilish smile on his face. Despite te fact that it was night time, I could see something shiny in his arms. He took another step towards me. I closed my eyes and tears started to roll down my face. I waited for the worst to happen but it never happened. I could hear a rough moan. I opened my eyes and saw James punching the hell out of the guy. From the corner of my eyes, I could see that the guy that was yanking my hair was after James.
"James! Look out!" I screamed. But too late. James recieved a punched in his face. He had a bleeding lip. I couldn't see clearly in the dark but I could definitely feel his anger. I closed my eyes and started weeping like a child. I could feel the guy holing my hands behing my back tightening his grip on me. It's all my fault. It's all my fault he got punched. I heard some more figures approaching us. I opened my eyes and saw Harmonie, Kai, Kris and Chanyeol running towards us. I guess the guy got scared, so he banged my head against the wall so hard I could feel the blood trickling down my forehead. I started to feel drowsy and eyes started getting heavier. It got harder to breathe. I saw Kai run up to the guy and beating him like he was some fly. He( Kai) could've killed him if Kris didn't stop him. I heard Kris say " Kai, I know you're angry at him but leave it. If you continue you'll be a murderer. You won't really take someone's life will you?" Kai thought about it. He gave the guy one last punch before coming over to me. I could see Harmonie checking if James was okay. I could see Chanyeol next to me getting stressed. He really looked like a clueless puppy. He had no idea what to do. kai kept asking me if I was okay. I didn't even have enough energy to speak or move my body. About 2 seconds later, all of the EXO came to the crime scene. Everyone's sight fell on me. They all crowded over me. Then Lay told them to move away from me so it's easier for me to breathe. He checked my pulse and his eyes widened. " Her pulse is slowly disappearing. Baek, quickly call the ambulance." I took a shaky deep breath. I muttered a quiet sorry towards everyone. They couldn't hear me so they came closer. " i'm sorry. This is all my fault." I told them. I could feel my energy getting lower by the second. Then Kai growled at me " Don't you be sorry Rox, it's not your fault. It was those stupid idiots' fault. Now stay with me. Whatever you do, don't close your eyes." I tried. I really tried hard to keep my eyes open but my body just gave up on me. Then everything blacked out.
~Kai's P.O.V~
No! no no no no no! This cannot happen to Roxy. I kept praying that she would keep breathing. Then the ambulance came and they took Roxanne in there. While the other nurses were trying to keep Roxanne breathing, this other nurse asked me if we knew her. I told her I was her brother because I knew that if I sais that we were friends she would have never let me in. She raised an eyebrow at me saying " really?" I sighed. Okay, I'm not her brother but please let me come with her. Please. She means a lot. I will do anything. Just please." The other nurse said " We need to take her to the hospital now." The first nurse sighed. " Okay, but you'll have to give me an autograph." She smiled at me. " Hurry but you can be the only one. Usually we only allow family. So better hop in" I nodded and jumped in. James and Harmonie insisted on coming as well. Since the nurse didn't have the time to argue with them, she let them in. I told the EXO members to meet me at the hospital. They all nodded. Then we went. The ride to the hospital was so blurry. For me it felt like I just got in and the next moment, I just got out. I saw other doctors rushing towards us. They took Roxanne and we followed. We waited outside the operating theatre. After about 25 minutes, Kris messaged me asking if Roxanne was allright. He told me that they couldn't come because manager hyung wouldn't let them and also because it was really late and we had school tomorrow. I quickly texted him back saying that "Roxanne went inside 25 minutes before and she's still not out yet. But you shouldn't worry too much. Get some rest hyung. Good Night." We waited for another 5 minutes in silence. I looked over at James and Harmonie and neither of them had said a word. Then the light went off which meant they were finished. The nurse came out and all of us gathered round her. " How is she?" James asked.
" She lost a lot of blood. Do you know dangerous that is? And her brain was really close to stop working. She was on the verge on dying when you brought her here. She needs a lot of rest and make sure she eats the right thing. But overall she's progressing well. She's a strong woman. She should be fine." She smiled.
All of us took a deep breath of relief. " That should have been the first thing you told us." James said. She looked over at James and gave a small smile. " You should probably get that checked." She said mentioning towards his cut lip and bruised cheek. He gave her a quick nod.
" Can we go in and see her?" Harmonie said. Her voice sounded so vunerable. This was the first time she spoke or made a noise since we found Roxanne back in the streets.
The nurse nodded. Both of them went in and I looked over at the nurse. I bowed at her. " Thank you so much. You have no idea how relieved I am. Really thank you."
She smiled. " Of course, It's my duty. Besides I like helping people. I can see that she means a lot to you. I hope you will be able to win her heart Now do I get your sutograph Kai-shi?"
I smiled at her. " Just Kai is fine for me. And ofcourse! " I gave her an autograph. " Thank you again so much." And then she left.
I looked in from the window to see Roxanne trying to talk James. Where did Harmonie go? I guess she saw me. She looked over at me and smiled. And I smiled back at her like an idiot.
