Kiss Me.

--JiEun’s POV---

I tossed around in my sleep a lot and I was surprised when I rolled over to see something else in my bed with me. OMG, what is he doing here? I thought I told him to leave. Did he stay here all night, did he see me dribble? I always dribbled when I was asleep which was probably the most attractive thing ever. I stand up quickly and look at myself in the mirror, okay I look relatively normal, I wasn’t ready for him to see me like this just yet. I adjusted myself accordingly, that was when I heard him wake up.

“Hwang JiEun, what are you doing?” he asked.

“Oh, urm nothing,” I said as I walked out of the room. I walked down to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of cold water. There was only a few weeks left until I had to return to university, so I decided that I would go and visit ByungHee in Busan.

“JiEun, where did you go?” I heard Eli call.

I better face up to it sooner rather than later and what harm can it do. “I am in the kitchen,” I called back and poured him a glass of water. He arrived and took it off me. “Thank you.” He paused, “You dribble so much when you sleep by the way.”

“OMG, why did you even sleep in there in the first place, I know I dribble so much sometimes I dream a lot that’s why.” I reply.

“Well you said last night, ‘if I fall asleep, turn the lights off and get out’ but you never said anything about coming back in, so I did. I take it you haven’t looked in your drawers or wardrobe.” I shake my head, and then I realise what he meant by that.

“You didn’t did you?” I frown but he just smiles and nods. “What is it with these rappers, do you all move in with people really fast?”

“Yeah, we must do.” He joked. “What are we doing today, I don’t have anything planned with the guys so we can go out on a date together if you want?”

“Really? So your company is really okay with me?” I ask.

“Of course they are, why wouldn’t they be? You are amazing.” He said taking a big sip of his water. “Shouldn’t you be getting ready because you’re so excited,” he pauses and before he continues I begin.

“Okay, are you going to tell our neighbours that we are out today or shall I?” I say hopeful.

“I’ll text them, you can go and make yourself look pretty.” He says and pushes my head a little bit.

“Where are we going?” I ask him.

“I am not sure yet, I’ll decide on how you look?” he replies I nod in reply to him and go upstairs.

At first I am tempted with a pair of white jeans and a pink top and jacket, but then I decide on something a bit more formal. I find a black and white dress, a white top half and then a cute thick stripy skirt. I put a bit of natural make up on and style my curly hair so it looks neater.

When I am happy with my appearance I walk downstairs.

“KyoungJae,” I call out to him “Is this okay?” as I approach him I give him a quick twirl and smile.

“Yeah, you look beautiful.” He pauses “I’ll get changed to match you, I think I know where we are going.”

He leaves the room and goes up stairs to get dressed, I find a pair of black heels, that aren’t too high. When Eli returns, he spins for me too, like I did for him, he looks smart, crystal white long sleeve shirt and black skinny jeans with a pair of black shoes, he leaves one button undone at the top. I grab my bag, and he grabs one.

“Are you ready JiEun?” he asks me.

“Not quite, just making sure I have everything, keys, phone, and money.” I double check “Yeah
I’m ready, what about Luna and sunny?”

“SooHyun is going to look after them for us if we are a bit late.” He replies.

We walk down the road I ask him if we are getting the car, he says no we are walking, so I get confused where we are walking too. It’s nice walking with a celebrity and especially one who
likes you back. We left the neighbourhood and turned down a few streets. “First of all, let’s get breakfast.” He says and turns into a small porridge shop. We order some food and eat it, the waitress who served us was very young and it looked like she was in her last year of high school or just started university, she asked Eli if she could have a picture he nodded and I asked if she wanted me to take it for her she said thank you and I proceeded to take the picture. She began to ask questions, the first one was “Are you Hwang JiEun, Eli oppas girlfriend.”

I paused I didn’t know what to say, everyone will know, and I completely forgot about it.

“Yeah, she is.” Eli replies to the enthusiast.

“Wow, you are so pretty. Aish, I wish I looked like you Hwang JiEun,” I smiled and thanked the girl.

“You’re really pretty yourself, you don’t have to use formals with me, call me unnie, its fine.” The girl was really happy.

“My name is SeoYeon, Lee SeoYeon,” she said and brought us our porridge when the chef said he was finished. “Before you start can I get a picture with you unnie?” I smile and nod. Eli holds the phone and takes a picture she is really tall for a high schooler. She then gets a picture of me and Eli together.

After we ate, Eli paid although I tried to persuade him to let me pay for something for once but no. I went up to the SeoYeon and asked for her number, and gave her mine as I wanted her to send me the pictures we had taken today. I said goodbye and went outside to meet the beautiful man who was waiting for me.

“Where are we going next?” I asked sheepishly, he just smiled and said wait and see, we walked two blocks away from the small porridge shop and was faced with a cute outdoor market, and we never really had one in our area, so I guessed this was the closest one to where I lived. We walked around a little bit and he pulled me in to a small market stall that sold fruit.

“What fruit do you like JiEun?” He asked.

“Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Peaches, Nectarines, Oranges, and red Apples, I like most fruits, just not bananas or pears.” I replied.

“Okay,” he turned to the man. “Can I have strawberries, grapes, raspberries, two nectarines, two oranges, two red apples and two starfruit please?”

The man nodded. “Why are you getting so much fruit?” I asked. He had the same reply as before – wait and see.

We walked around a little bit more when he noticed a stall that had a lot of people crowded around so he went to go investigate, I followed him. I saw it was a couple stall, we already had couple items because he dragged me into it a few days ago. I went back to where we were standing and waited for him. He came back a little bit later.

“Did you see anything you liked,” I asked.

“No really, come on, there is one place I really want to visit, I am sure it is around here somewhere.” He replied.

“You’ve never actually seen it?” he shook is head.

“No, but I’ve heard of it.” The sun was glistening down and as it reached noon it became really hot and it was really nice and sunny. “There it is.” He pointed to the floor fountains.

“Really, why did you want to come here?” I looked at the children playing in there getting wet.

“The same reason they came here.” He pointed toward the children.

“Eli, no way, I’ll get soaking.”

“Don’t worry I got towels, why else do you think I brought a big bag.” I smiled at his unusualness, on stage he acts all tough and sexy and mature but in real life he was a real child acting all cute and stuff.

“Okay,” I say and I decided to take off my shoes, and put my bag down under a tree. A nice woman told us she would look after it for us as she noticed who Eli was, she had two children and they looked happy jumping about in the fountain.

“Come on then, Jieun,” he said as he jumped in the fountain. I followed him and the fountain stopped.

“Where did the water go?” I ask. Then all of a sudden it all came back on again, Eli grabbed my hand and thus began a war of water, I chased him, and he chased me back, we were the eldest there and after ten minutes of getting completely wet. He stood in the middle and pulled me into a hug. I noticed how people had gathered round and began taking pictures, wow, and no privacy with a celebrity but I didn’t mind at the moment as I was with someone who I really liked. After he broke the hug and held my hand as we sat back underneath the tree, he went into his big bag and pulled out a black and white checkered blanket which he lay on the floor and we say on it. He continued in his bag and pulled out a lunchbox. He had this planned out since last night and he tells me that he asked SooHyun while I was asleep to prepare it for us in the morning.


He then pulled out the fruit we brought. Okay, Picnik time.

“You are actually so cute Kim KyoungJae.” I say to him and pinch his cheek and he pouts.

“Aish, SooHyun told me this was a good idea, but if you don’t like it we don’t have to.” Eli replies to me.

“I never said I didn’t like it, I said it was cute. I’ve never done this before, but SooHyun was right, it is a good idea, especially when it is hot.” I say. We begin eating some rice and seaweed and it is really delicious and SooHyun prepared it just like I wanted. I remember when he stayed at mine when we watched dramas, we spoke about food, so he knew what we both liked which was good. He put in spicy chicken which was my favourite. When we finished the rice, we began eating the fruit.

The woman who sat near to us with her two children were having a picnik too. I overheard the little boy ask if it was Eli from Ukiss with me, his mother said yes, but not to disturb us.

“Eli, ask them if they want to join us, as a thanks for looking after our stuff.” I ask him, he agrees and asks them. The little girl and boy move over and sit by us and their mother follows.

“Are you sure it’s okay, we don’t want to disturb your first official date to the public.” The mother asks us politely.

“Of course, plus you watched my bag for me,” I offered her some Strawberries and she smiled and took one. I split the two apples in quarters and the oranges and nectarines and sliced the star fruit up. I enjoyed the company of the two children and mother. I learnt that their names were Nam MyungSoo and Nam EunSoo and that the mother was Lee NaYoung. After a while they told us they had to go, we said goodbye and they thanked us for the fruit.

My brother always complained about the cost of fruit in Korea and tells me it is cheaper in England and Japan. I look around the park and see it is becoming empty and when I glance back Eli is holding out a bag for me.

He hands it to me and I look inside, there is a teddy inside I pull it out and it is wearing a shirt and skinny jeans just like Eli. “Is this meant to be you?” I ask.

Eli nods and shows me another similar looking teddy “and this is you.” I look and it is wearing a very similar dress to me, white and black with heels. “I have two of you now. So I will always have one with me, even if you aren’t.”

“Wow so cheesy,” I say to him whilst putting the fruit in the bag. “I can’t believe you have never had a girlfriend, you are a perfect boyfriend candidate.” He blushes and packs everything away.

“That was literally the best date ever.” I say.

“It’s not over yet,” he replies “we have two other places to go before it is over, I want it to be super special.” He holds my hand and we walk towards the main road. “Taxi,” he calls and one pulls over for us.

“Can you take us here?” Eli hands over a piece of paper “keep it a secret, she doesn’t know anything yet.” The taxi driver agrees and drives straight there.

In the taxi we just talk about little things and laugh, we talk about the UKiss members and I tell him I am planning to go to Busan for the last week before school to visit my old next door neighbours. Eli tells me that they will all come with us if I wanted. I said that would be nice even though I am used to being alone, I am not used to flying. After about 20 minutes we arrive at out destination.
