Summer Heat

Awakened

—————————one week later————————

“Hyung. Wake up, please.” Zelo begged. “Visiting hours are over now. You have to go home now.” a nurse said. “I can’t go home. It’s gone. I’m not leaving him by himself.” Zelo growled. “Okay. Call me if you need anything okay.” the nurse said. She left the room. “Slut.” Zelo muttered under his breath. Ten minutes Zelo fell asleep waiting for Jae Su to wake up. Zelo left the room the next morning because of school. It felt incomplete without Jae Su there. It was hard for the dance team as well because of nationals. After drama practice Zelo went to the hospital with Jae Ku.

“He’s been like for a week now.” Zelo said. He sat down on a chair near the bed. “Please wake up Jae Su. Zelo and I need you. The dance team needs you. If you don’t wake soon something bad might happen so please, please wake up.” Jae Ku begged. Jae Ku left left ten minutes later. “Mmmm. Zelo-ah. Zelo were am I?” Zelo mumbled. “Hyung! You’re at the hospital. You were unconscious for a week.” Zelo started to cry. “Zelo please don’t cry.” Jae Su said. He patted Zelo’s head and smiled weakly. “It’ll be okay. Everything will be okay.” Jae Su chuckled weakly.

—————————two months later———————

“Take it easy Jae Su. You’re still recovering.” Zelo smiled. “I can’t. I need to dance. Because of me we came in second again in nationals and we didn’t get a good mark in music. I’m sorry.” Jae Su said. “It’s not your fault. You did what was right. You tried to save my parents from that fire 2 months ago. Who ever set that house on fire will pay with their life.” Zelo said. Jae Su cleaned his sun glasses and sat down on the grass. He didn’t forget that day. Jae Ku was with Min Kyu and MBLAQ and Sung Kyu was home when it had happened. He sighed. Zelo sat next to him smiling.
